| 1 | Metasurface-based nanoprinting: principle, design and advances显示文摘Metasurface-based nanoprinting(meta-nanoprinting)has fully demonstrated its advantages in ultrahigh-density gray-scale/color image recording and display.A typical meta-nanoprinting device usually has image resolutions reaching 80 k dots per inch(dpi),far exceeding conventional technology such as gravure printing(typ.5 k dpi).Besides,by fully exploit-ing the design degrees of freedom of nanostructured metasurfaces,meta-nanoprinting has been developed from previ-ous single-channel to multiple-channels,to current multifunctional integration or even dynamic display.In this review,we overview the development of meta-nanoprinting,including the physics of nanoprinting to manipulate optical amplitude and spectrum,single-functional meta-nanoprinting,multichannel meta-nanoprinting,dynamic meta-nanoprinting and mul-tifunctional metasurface integrating nanoprinting with holography or metalens,etc.Applications of meta-nanoprinting such as image display,vortex beam generation,information decoding and hiding,information encryption,high-density optical storage and optical anti-counterfeiting have also been discussed.Finally,we conclude the opportunities and chal-lenges/perspectives in this rapidly developing research field of meta-nanoprinting. | Rao Fu Kuixian Chen Zile Li Shaohua Yu Guoxing Zheng | 2022 | Opto-Electronic Science2022,1,10: | 1 |

| 7 | Solving quantified constraint satisfaction problems with value selection rules显示文摘Solving a quantified constraint satisfaction problem(QCSP)is usually a hard task due to its computational complexity.Exact algorithms play an important role in solving this problem,among which backtrack algorithms are effective.In a backtrack algorithm,an important step is assigning a variable by a chosen value when exploiting a branch,and thus a good value selection rule may speed up greatly.In this paper,we propose two value selection rules for existentially and universally quantified variables,respectively,to avoid unnecessary searching.The rule for universally quantified variables is prior to trying failure values in previous branches,and the rule for existentially quantified variables selects the promising values first.Two rules are integrated into the state-of-the-art QCSP solver,i.e.,QCSP-Solve,which is an exact solver based on backtracking.We perform a number of experiments to evaluate improvements brought by our rules.From computational results,we can conclude that the new value selection rules speed up the solver by 5 times on average and 30 times at most.We also show both rules perform well particularly on instances with existentially and universally quantified variables occurring alternatively. | Jian Gao Jinyan Wang Kuixian Wu Rong Chen | 2020 | Frontiers of Computer Science2020,14,5: | 0 |
| 8 | A novel strategy to extract lunar mare KREEP-rich metal resources using a silicon collector显示文摘The lunar mare potassium(K)-,rare-earth elements(REEs)-and phosphorous(P)-rich(KREEP-rich) region is a unique late-stage product of magma crystallization,in which ilmenite and incompatible elements have high grades,thus forming a giant natural reservoir.The extraction and purification of the high-value metal resources in the KREEP-rich region not only meet the construction needs of the lunar base but also solve the problem of resource scarcity on Earth.In this study,photovoltaic elemental silicon(Si) was used as a collector to extract ilmenite resources,REEs,and nuclear energy elements from basalt in the lunar mare KREEP-rich region at 1873 K.Based on experimentation,the metals titanium(Ti)and iron(Fe) in the lunar mare ilmenite are found to be enriched and solidified in the form of Si-based alloys.The contents of valuable incompatible elements in the KREEP-rich area are also found to be enriched and contained in the incompatible trace elements(ITEs) phase of the alloy.Among them,REEs(e.g.,cerium(Ce) and thulium(Tm)) and nuclear elements(e.g.,thorium(Th) and uranium(U)) are found to account for 82.61 wt% of the ITEs phase.This process provides a simple and feasible scheme for the insitu resource utilization(ISRU) of the lunar surface and is suitable for the extraction and enrichment of lunar metal resources. | Chen Li Kuixian Wei Yang Li Wenhui Ma Yun Lei Han Yu Jianzhong Liu | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,9: | 0 |
