1Generative Adversarial Networks:Introduction and Outlook显示文摘Recently, generative adversarial networks(GANs)have become a research focus of artificial intelligence. Inspired by two-player zero-sum game, GANs comprise a generator and a discriminator, both trained under the adversarial learning idea.The goal of GANs is to estimate the potential distribution of real data samples and generate new samples from that distribution.Since their initiation, GANs have been widely studied due to their enormous prospect for applications, including image and vision computing, speech and language processing, etc. In this review paper, we summarize the state of the art of GANs and look into the future. Firstly, we survey GANs' proposal background,theoretic and implementation models, and application fields.Then, we discuss GANs' advantages and disadvantages, and their development trends. In particular, we investigate the relation between GANs and parallel intelligence,with the conclusion that GANs have a great potential in parallel systems research in terms of virtual-real interaction and integration. 2Training and Testing Object Detectors With Virtual Images显示文摘In the area of computer vision, deep learning has produced a variety of state-of-the-art models that rely on massive labeled data. However, collecting and annotating images from the real world is too demanding in terms of labor and money investments, and is usually inflexible to build datasets with specific characteristics, such as small area of objects and high occlusion level. Under the framework of Parallel Vision, this paper presents a purposeful way to design artificial scenes and automatically generate virtual images with precise annotations.A virtual dataset named Parallel Eye is built, which can be used for several computer vision tasks. Then, by training the DPM(Deformable parts model) and Faster R-CNN detectors, we prove that the performance of models can be significantly improved by combining Parallel Eye with publicly available real-world datasets during the training phase. In addition, we investigate the potential of testing the trained models from a specific aspect using intentionally designed virtual datasets, in order to discover the flaws of trained models. 3The Formation of the Jiaodong Gold Province显示文摘Gold deposits in Jiaodong,termed Jiaodong-type,are tectonically located in the southeastern margin of the North China Craton.Their major features are reviewed in this paper to highlight the differences between Jiaodong deposits and other genetic types of gold deposits.The mineralization was synchronized with asthenosphere upwelling indicated by synore OIB-like mafic dike and large-scale crustal thinning suggested by decrease of Sr/Y from pre-ore to syn-ore granites.Asthenosphere upwelling induced by the roll-back of Paleo-Pacific Plate drove partial melting of lithospheric mantle and devolatilization,which induced the release of the ore-forming fluids.In concomitant with magmatic records,mineralization migrated from the western Jiaobei terrane(133–127 Ma)to the eastern Sulu orogenic belt(114–108 Ma),corresponding to the eastward roll-back of Paleo-Pacific Plate.Gold mineralization in Jiaodong formed in the transitions of ductile to brittle deformation,rapid to slow crustal uplift,and regional compression to extension.In the regional-scale,the gold deposits in the Jiaobei terrane are mostly situated at intersections between NE-trending faults and EW-trending basement faults,and gold orebodies dominantly controlled by the lithologic contacts between Precambrian metamorphic rocks and Mesozoic granites.The mineralization was dominated by the disseminated-veinlet ores related to quartz–sericite alteration in strong cataclasite-breccia zone,with subsidiary thick quartz-sulfide veins developed in secondary fault zones.The ore-forming fluids belong to a H_(2)O–CO_(2)–NaCl±CH_(4)system and show minor variations in salinity among different types of ore.Structure-fluid feedback involving fluid-rock reaction and hydrofracturing triggered the fluid phase separation and resultant gold deposition.The Jiaodong gold deposits are distinct from orogenic and intrusion-related gold deposits in terms of tectonic setting,origin of ore-forming fluids,and mechanism of gold deposition.DENG Jun WANG Qingfei LIU Xuefei ZHANG Liang YANG Liqiang YANG Lin QIU Kunfeng GUO Linnan LIANG Yayun MA Yao 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,6:7
4Preparation of Palladium Supported on Ferric Oxide Nano-catalysts for Carbon Monoxide Oxidation in Low Temperature显示文摘Catalytic property of Pd/Fe2O3 catalysts on carbon monoxide(CO) oxidation at low temperature were investigated in this paper. Both the as-prepared and H2-pretreated Pd/Fe2O3 catalysts show catalytic performances on CO oxidation. The CO was completely converted at 333 K for the as-prepared sample,whereas at 313 K for H2-pretreated Pd/Fe2O3-573 catalyst. The catalytic performance of the Pd/Fe2O3 catalyst decreases with increased calcination temperature. This may be due to the increased crystallinity of the support and decreased metal-support interaction. 5Metallogenetic model of Jiaodong-type gold deposits,eastern China显示文摘The genesis of giant gold provinces is an international scientific frontier,in which the source of a huge amount of gold and the drive for mineralization are key challenges.The mineralization intensity of the Jiaodong gold province in eastern China is a rare occasion in the world,because it owns gold reserves of~5500 tons within an area of less than 10,000 km^(2).The Jiaodong gold province formed in the superimposed domain of diverse tectonic regimes in an intracontinental setting.Paleoproterozoic regional peak metamorphism and Triassic continental collision are followed by the tectonic transition and gold mineralization at ca.120 Ma with time intervals of 1.9 billion years and about 100 million years,respectively.The Jiaodong gold deposits are different from orogenic and intrusion-related gold deposits in terms of the tectonic background,types of host rocks,and oreforming mechanism.These gold deposits show close spatial-temporal and genetic relationships to mafic igneous rocks,implying the derivation of ore-forming fluids from the metasomatic mantle domains.Mafic dykes in Jiaodong have negativeε_(Hf)(t)values of-29.9 to-9.1,Os content of 0.002-0.16 ppb,heavyδ^(18)O up to 8.23‰,and high initial^(187)Os/^(188)Os ratios of 0.1352-0.8858.These indicate that the lithospheric mantle was metasomatized by ancient crust-derived components.The lithospheric mantle in the western Jiaodong shows generally more enriched isotope features than that in the eastern part,which is explained to be an important reason for its huge gold resources.The mafic dykes show lighter Mg isotope characteristics(averageδ^(26)Mg of-0.33‰,n=50)and high Ca O content(overall greater than 6.5 wt%),indicating that the lithospheric mantle would also record the metasomatism by the carbonate rocks from the subducting oceanic slab.Under the background of the rollback of the subducting paleo-Pacific slab and the destruction of the North China Craton,partial melting of the lower crust would produce granitic magmas that led to the enrichment of gold in the residual crust.The syn-mineralization asthenosphere upwelling would promote the recycling of the lower crust and the partial melting of the metasomatic mantle domains.Basic magmas,produced by the partial melting,and the mantle itself would degas to form ore fluids.The ore fluids would further leach gold in the lower crust to increase its fertility.The auriferous fluids were transported to the middle to upper crust along the detachment and strike-slip faults.Water-rock interaction and fluid immiscibility,which occurred in and above the ductile-brittle transition zone to induce gold precipitation,formed the Jiaodong gold deposits.Given the unique geological features and genetic model of the Jiaodong gold deposits,they can be defined as“Jiaodong-type”gold deposits.Jun DENG Qingfei WANG Liang ZHANG Shengchao XUE Xuefei LIU Lin YANG Liqiang YANG Kunfeng QIU Yayun LIANG 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,10:2
6A Recurrent Attention and Interaction Model for Pedestrian Trajectory Prediction显示文摘The movement of pedestrians involves temporal continuity,spatial interactivity,and random diversity.As a result,pedestrian trajectory prediction is rather challenging.Most existing trajectory prediction methods tend to focus on just one aspect of these challenges,ignoring the temporal information of the trajectory and making too many assumptions.In this paper,we propose a recurrent attention and interaction(RAI)model to predict pedestrian trajectories.The RAI model consists of a temporal attention module,spatial pooling module,and randomness modeling module.The temporal attention module is proposed to assign different weights to the input sequence of a target,and reduce the speed deviation of different pedestrians.The spatial pooling module is proposed to model not only the social information of neighbors in historical frames,but also the intention of neighbors in the current time.The randomness modeling module is proposed to model the uncertainty and diversity of trajectories by introducing random noise.We conduct extensive experiments on several public datasets.The results demonstrate that our method outperforms many that are state-ofthe-art.Xuesong Li Yating Liu Kunfeng Wang Fei-Yue Wang 2020IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2020,7,5:2

8Energy and Exergy Analysis of a Cooling/Power Cogeneration Ejector Refrigeration System显示文摘The organic Rankine cycle is introduced into the conventional ejector refrigeration(CER)system to establish the low-grade heat-driven cooling/power cogeneration ejector refrigeration(CPC-ER)system using the isobutane as the refrigerant.In comparison with the CER system where external power is consumed by the circulating pump,the power output from the CPC-ER system is more than the power consumption of its circulating pump so that a portion of net power is derived from the CPC-ER system.Based on the mathematical model of thermodynamics,energy and exergy analysis of the CPC-ER system is carried out and compared with the CER system.The results reveal that the equivalent coefficient of performance(COP)of the CPC-ER system is 41.14%to 71.30%higher than that of the CER system,and the exergy efficiency of the CPC-ER system is 1.32 to 1.49 times higher than that of the CER system.Both the power produced by the turbine and the total exergy output from the CPC-ER system approach the maximum,as the generating temperature in the generator is up to 80°C.The CPC-ER system has the higher energy utilization efficiency than the CER system,and it is suitable for the cooling and power-required places with low-grade thermal sources.YANG Mengke LI Xiuzhen WANG Lin YUAN Junfei WANG Zhanwei LIANG Kunfeng 2022Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,2:0
9Prediction of methane storage in covalent organic frameworks using big-data-mining approach显示文摘A combination of computational materials screening and machine learning(ML)technique is being adopted as a popular approach to study various materials toward application of interest.In this work,we began with high-throughput molecular simulations to calculate the methane storage(6.5 MPa)and deliverable(6.5-0.58 MPa)capacities of 404,460 covalent organic frameworks(COFs)at 298 K.Then,the full data sets with 23 features were randomly split into training and test sets in a ratio of 20:80,which were applied to evaluate the prediction abilities of several ML algorithms,including gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT),neural network(NN),support vector machine(SVM),random forest(RF)and decision tree(DT).The results indicate that the RF model has the highest prediction accuracy,which was further employed to reduce the dimension of features space and quantitatively analyze the relative importance of each feature value.The binary classification predictors built using the features with the highest influence weight can give a successful identification of top-performing candidates from the test set containing 323,168 COFs with an accuracy exceeding 96%.The deliverable capacities of the identified COFs were found to outperform those reported so far for various adsorbents.The findings may provide a useful guidance for the design and synthesis of new high-performance materials for methane storage application.Huan Zhang Peisong Yang Duli Yu Kunfeng Wang Qingyuan Yang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,11:0
10A decouple-decomposition noise analysis model for closed-loop mode-localized tilt sensors显示文摘The development of mode-localized sensors based on amplitude output metrics has attracted increasing attention in recent years due to the potential of such sensors for high sensitivity and resolution.Mode-localization phenomena leverage the interaction between multiple coupled resonant modes to achieve enhanced performance,providing a promising solution to overcome the limitations of traditional sensing technologies.Amplitude noise plays a key role in determining the resolution of mode-localized sensors,as the output metric is derived from the measured AR(amplitude ratio)within the weakly coupled resonator system.However,the amplitude noise originating from the weakly coupled resonator's closed-loop circuit has not yet been fully investigated.This paper presents a decouple-decomposition(DD)noise analysis model,which is applied to achieve high resolution in a mode-localized tilt sensor based on a weakly coupled resonator closed-loop circuit.The DD noise model separates the weakly coupled resonators using the decoupling method considering the nonlinearity of the resonators.By integrating the decoupled weakly coupled resonators,the model decomposes the weakly coupled resonator's closed-loop circuit into distinct paths for amplitude and phase noise analyses.The DD noise model reveals noise effects at various circuit nodes and models the system noise in the closed-loop circuit of the weakly coupled resonators.MATLAB/Simulink simulations verify the model's accuracy when compared to theoretical analysis.At the optimal operating point,the mode-localized tilt sensor achieves an input-referred instability of 3.91×10^(-4°)and an input-referred AR of PSD of 2.01×10^(-4°)⁄√Hz using the closed-loop noise model.This model is also applicable to other varieties of mode-localized sensors.Kunfeng Wang XingYin Xiong Zheng Wang Liangbo Ma BoWen Wang WuHao Yang Xiaorui Bie ZhiTian Li XuDong Zou 2023Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,6:0
11Extensional Setting of Hainan Island in Mesoproterozoic:Evidence from Granitic Intrusions in the Baoban Group显示文摘The Mesoproterozoic Baoban Group is the oldest basement in Hainan Island and has played an important role in Columbia(Nuna)supercontinent reconstructions.The Mesoproterozoic granitic intrusions in the Baoban Group are the most widely-exposed Precambrian magmatic rocks and are the key to understanding the tectonic settings of Hainan Island and its relationship with the South China Block and the Columbia supercontinent.New LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating on three mylonitic granite samples from the Tuwaishan and Baoban areas yield ages ranging from 1447 Ma to 1437 Ma,representing the absolute timing of the emplacement of the granitic intrusions.Combined with previously published geochronological data for rocks from the Baoban Group and regional mafic intrusions,it is concluded that the Baoban Group formed at 1460-1430 Ma,coeval with the emplacement of the granitic and mafic intrusions.New in-situ zircon LuHf isotope analyses for the three mylonitic granite samples yielded positiveε(t)values,ranging from+0.49 to+8.27,with model ages(T~C)ranging from 2181 Ma to 1687 Ma,suggesting that the granitic intrusions originated from a mixed source of Paleoproterozoic crust with juvenile crust.New zircon trace element data show characteristics of high Th/U values of 0.24-1.50,steep slopes from LREE to HREE and negative Pr,Eu anomalies with positive Ce,Sm anomalies,representing typical magmatic zircons formed in continental crust.Compared with available magmatic and detrital zircon ages from Precambrian rocks in the Cathaysia Block,Yangtze Block and western Laurentia,it is inferred that Hainan Island was separated from both the Cathaysia Block and the Yangtze Block,instead being connected with western Laurentia in the Columbia supercontinent.Considering the decreasing tendency of basin deposition time along the western margin of Laurentia,it is proposed that Hainan Island was located to the north or northwest of the Belt-Purcell Supergroup,along the western margin of Laurentia,during the breakup of the Columbia supercontinent.LIU Yuheng MAO Jingwen QIU Kunfeng HU Jun WANG Lei XU Deming 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,4:0
12Thermodynamic Evaluation of Transcritical CO_(2) Heat Pump Considering Temperature Matching under the Constraint of Heat Transfer Pinch Point显示文摘The non-linear temperature glide in the supercritical CO_(2) cooling process makes the heat transfer pinch point of heat exchanger show multiplicity,like size,location distribution and quantity,which makes the thermodynamic performance of the CO_(2) transcritical cycle more complex and eventually affects the evaluation of the optimal operating state of the system.Based on the second law of thermodynamics and the constraints of heat transfer pinch,a thermodynamic evaluation method of CO_(2) transcritical heat pump system was proposed according to the degree of temperature matching.The influence mechanism of multi-characteristic change of heat transfer pinch point on temperature matching degree and the effect of temperature matching degree on thermodynamic performance of CO_(2) transcritical heat pump system were discussed.The relationship between temperature matching degree,COP and exergy efficiency of the system was analyzed.It is considered that the change of temperature matching index value can clearly characterize the change trends of COP and exergy efficiency.That is,the smaller the temperature matching degree is,the closer the temperature distribution of heat transfer fluids on both sides of the heat exchanger is to Lorenz cycle,and the greater the COP and exergy efficiency are.Furthermore,by monitoring the outlet temperature of the CO_(2) cooler,which has an essential relationship with the temperature matching degree during the heat exchange process,the deviation between actual and optimal working condition can be judged online,which is beneficial to real-time evaluation of the working state of the system.LIU Ruijian GAO Fengling LIANG Kunfeng WANG Lin WANG Moran MI Guoqiang LI Yachao 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,3:0
