Three-dimensional decellularized tumor extracellular matrices with different stiffness as bioengineered tumor scaffolds显示文摘In the three-dimensional(3D)tumor microenvironment, matrix stiffness is associated with the regulation of tumor cells behaviors. In vitro tumor models with appropriate matrix stiffness are urgently desired.Herein,we prepare 3D decellularized extracellular matrix(DECM)scaffolds with different stiffness to mimic the microenvironment of human breast tumor tissue, especially the matrix stiffness, components and structure of ECM.Furthermore, the effects of matrix stiffness on the drug resistance of human breast cancer cells are explored with these developed scaffolds as case studies. Our results confirm that DECM scaffolds with diverse stiffness can be generated by tumor cells with different lysyl oxidase(LOX)expression levels, while the barely intact structure and major components of the ECM are maintained without cells. This versatile 3D tumor model with suitable stiffness can be used as a bioengineered tumor scaffold to investigate the role of the microenvironment in tumor progression and to screen drugs prior to clinical use to a certain extent.Yonggang Lv Hongjun Wang Gui Li Boyuan Zhao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,9:4
Weapons equipment portfolios selection based on equipment system contribution rates显示文摘Equipment selection is an essential work in the research and development planning of equipment. The scientific and rational development of weapons equipment portfolios is of considerable significance to the optimization of equipment architecture design, the adequate resources allocation, and the joint combat performance. From the system view, this paper proposes a method of weapons equipment portfolios selection(WEPS)based on the contribution rate of weapon systems, providing a new idea for weapon equipment portfolio selection.Firstly,we analyze the WEPS problem and the concept of the contribution rate under the systems background.Secondly,we propose a combat network modeling method for weapon equipment systems based on the function chain.Thirdly,we propose a WEPS method based on the contribution rate, fully considering the correlation relationships between potential weapons and the old weapon systems by the combat network model, under the limitation of capability demands and budget resources, with the objective to maximally increasing the combat ability of weapon systems. Finally,we make a case study with a specific WEPS problem where the whole calculation processes and results are analyzed and exhibited to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method model.LIU Peng LI Jichao XIA Boyuan ZHAO Danling TAN Yuejin 2021Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2021,32,3:3
Mapping intrinsic electromechanical responses at the nanoscale via sequential excitation scanning probe microscopy empowered by deep data显示文摘Ever-increasing hardware capabilities and computation powers have enabled acquisition and analysis of big scientific data at the nanoscale routine, though much of the data acquired often turn out to be redundant, noisy and/or irrelevant to the problems of interest, and it remains nontrivial to draw clear mechanistic insights from pure data analytics. In this work, we use scanning probe microscopy(SPM) as an example to demonstrate deep data methodology for nanosciences, transitioning from brute-force analytics such as data mining, correlation analysis and unsupervised classification to informed and/or targeted causative data analytics built on sound physical understanding. Three key ingredients of such deep data analytics are presented. A sequential excitation scanning probe microscopy(SE-SPM) technique is first developed to acquire high-quality, efficient and physically relevant data, which can be easily implemented on any standard atomic force microscope(AFM). Brute-force physical analysis is then carried out using a simple harmonic oscillator(SHO) model, enabling us to derive intrinsic electromechanical coupling of interest. Finally, principal component analysis(PCA) is carried out, which not only speeds up the analysis by four orders of magnitude, but also allows a clear physical interpretation of its modes in combination with SHO analysis. A rough piezoelectric material has been probed using such a strategy, enabling us to map its intrinsic electromechanical properties at the nanoscale with high fidelity, where conventional methods fail. The SE in combination with deep data methodology can be easily adapted for other SPM techniques to probe a wide range of functional phenomena at the nanoscale.Boyuan Huang Ehsan Nasr Esfahani Jiangyu Li 2019National Science Review2019,6,1:2
Hydrocarbon Generation and Expulsion of the Upper Triassic T3x5Source Rocks in the Western Sichuan Depression: Assessment for Unconventional Natural Gas显示文摘Tight-sand gas in the Jurassic and shale gas within the fifth member of Xujiahe Formation(T3x5) in the Western Sichuan Basin(WSD) are currently regarded as the most prolific emerging unconventional gas plays in China. This study conducted a conventional evaluation of T3x5 source rocks in the WSD, and investigated their hydrocarbon generation and expulsion characteristics, including intensity, efficiency and amount. The results show that, the T3x5 source rocks are thick(generally >200 m), and have a high total organic content(TOC), ranging from 2.5 to 4.5 wt%. It is thus indivative of a great hydrocarbon generation potential when they underwent high thermal evolution(Ro>1.2%) in the area. In addition, an improved method of hydrocarbon generation potential is applied, indicating that the source rocks reached a hydrocarbon expulsion threshold with vitrinite reflectance(Ro) reaching 1.06%, and that the comprehensive hydrocarbon expulsion efficiency is about 60%. The amount of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion from T3x5 source rocks is 3.14×1010 t and 1.86×1010 t, respectively, with a residual amount of 1.28×1010 t within them. Continuous-type tight-sand gas is predicted to have developed in the Jurassic in the Chengdu Sag of the WSD because of the good source-reservoir configuration; the Jurassic sandstone reservoirs are tight, and the gas expelled from the T3x5 source rocks migrates for very short distances vertically and horizontally. The amount of gas accumulation in the Jurassic reservoirs derived from T3x5 source rocks is up to 9.3×108 t. Geological resources of shale gas are up to 1.05×1010 t. Small differences between the amounts calculated by the volumetric method and those obtained by hydrocarbon generation potential method may be due to other gas accumulations present within interbedded sands associated with gas shales.GUO Yingchun SONG Yan PANG Xiongqi WANG Youwei YANG Keming LI Boyuan 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,1:2
Polar or nonpolar? That is not the question for perovskite solar cells显示文摘Perovskite solar cells(PSC)are promising next generation photovoltaic technologies, and there is considerable interest in the role of possible polarization of organic-inorganic halide perovskites(OIHPs)in photovoltaic conversion. The polarity of OIHPs is still hotly debated, however. In this review,we examine recent literature on the polarity of OIHPs from both theoretical and experimental points of view, and argue that they can be both polar and nonpolar, depending on composition, processing and environment.Implications of OIHP polarity to photovoltaic conversion are also discussed, and new insights gained through research efforts. In the future, integration of a local scanning probe with global macroscopic measurements in situ will provide invaluable microscopic insight into the intriguing macroscopic phenomena, while synchrotron diffractions and scanning transmission electron microscopy on more stable samples may ultimately settle the debate.Boyuan Huang Zhenghao Liu Changwei Wu Yuan Zhang Jinjin Zhao Xiao Wang Jiangyu Li 2021National Science Review2021,8,8:1
Multi-objective optimization of operation loop recommendation for kill web显示文摘In order to improve our military ’s level of intelligent accusation decision-making in future intelligent joint warfare, this paper studies operation loop recommendation methods for kill web based on the fundamental combat form of the future, i.e.,“web-based kill,” and the operation loop theory. Firstly, we pioneer the operation loop recommendation problem with operation ring quality as the objective and closed-loop time as the constraint, and construct the corresponding planning model.Secondly, considering the case where there are multiple decision objectives for the combat ring recommendation problem,we propose for the first time a multi-objective optimization algorithm, the multi-objective ant colony evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition(MOACEA/D), which integrates the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition(MOEA/D) with the ant colony algorithm. The MOACEA/D can converge the optimal solutions of multiple single objectives nondominated solution set for the multi-objective problem. Finally, compared with other classical multi-objective optimization algorithms, the MOACEA/D is superior to other algorithms superior in terms of the hyper volume(HV), which verifies the effectiveness of the method and greatly improves the quality and efficiency of commanders’ decision-making.YANG Kewei XIA Boyuan CHEN Gang YANG Zhiwei LI Minghao 2022Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,4:1

System portfolio selection based on GRA method under hesitant fuzzy environment显示文摘The hesitant fuzzy set(HFS) is an important tool to deal with uncertain and vague information. In equipment system portfolio selection, the index attribute of the equipment system may not be expressed by precise data;it is usually described by qualitative information and expressed as multiple possible values. We propose a method of equipment system portfolio selection under hesitant fuzzy environment. The hesitant fuzzy element(HFE) is used to describe the index and attribute values of the equipment system. The hesitation degree of HFEs measures the uncertainty of the criterion data of the equipment system. The hesitant fuzzy grey relational analysis(GRA) method is used to evaluate the score of the equipment system, and the improved HFE distance measure is used to fully consider the influence of hesitation degree on the grey correlation degree.Based on the score and hesitation degree of the equipment system, two portfolio selection models of the equipment system and an equipment system portfolio selection case is given to illustrate the application process and effectiveness of the method.LI Zhuoqian DOU Yajie XIA Boyuan YANG Kewei LI Mengjun 2022Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,1:1
An AuNPs/Mesoporous NiO/Nickel Foam Nanocomposite as a Miniaturized Electrode for Heavy Metal Detection in Groundwater显示文摘Heavy metals, notably Pb2+and Cu^(2+),are some of the most persistent contaminants found in groundwater.Frequent monitoring of these metals, which relies on efficient,sensitive,cost-effective,and reliable methods,is a necessity. We present a nanocomposite-based miniaturized electrode for the concurrent measurement of Pb2+and Cu^(2+)by exploiting the electroanalytical technique of square wave voltammetry. We also propose a facile in situ hydrothermal calcination method to directly grow binder-free mesoporous Ni O on a three-dimensional nickel foam, which is then electrochemically seeded with gold nanoparticles(Au NPs).The meticulous design of a low-barrier Ohmic contact between mesoporous Ni O and Au NPs facilitates target-mediated nanochannel-confined electron transfer within mesoporous Ni O.As a result, the heavy metals Pb2+(0.020 mg.L^(-1)detection limit;2.0–16.0 mg.L^(-1)detection range)and Cu^(2+)(0.013 mg.L^(-1)detection limit;0.4–12.8 mg.L^(-1)detection range)can be detected simultaneously with high precision.Furthermore, other heavy metal ions and common interfering ions found in groundwater showed negligible impacts on the electrode’s performance, and the recovery rate of groundwater samples varied between 96.3%±2.1%and 109.4%±0.6%.The compactness, flexible shape, low power consumption, and ability to remotely operate our electrode pave the way for onsite detection of heavy metals in groundwater, thereby demonstrating the potential to revolutionize the field of environmental monitoring.Boyuan Xue Qian Yang Kaidong Xia Zhihong Li George Y.Chen Dayi Zhang Xiaohong Zhou 2023Engineering2023,,8:0
Simultaneously removal of P and B from Si by Sr and Zr co-addition during Al–Si low-temperature solvent refining显示文摘To remove the key impurity elements,P and B,from primary Si simultaneously,Sr and Zr co-addition to Al-Si alloy systems during solvent refining has been investigated.Sr reacts with Al,Si,and P in the melt to form a P-containing Al_(2)Si_(2)Sr phase and Zr reacts with B to form a ZrB_(2) phase. In the Al-Si-Sr-Zr system, high removal fractions of P and B in the primary Si,with 84.8%-98.4%and 90.7%-96.7%,respectively,are achieved at the same time, respectively. The best removal effect is obtained in the sample with the addition of Sr-32000+Zr-3000μg·kg^(-1),and the removal fractions of P and B in the purified Si reach 98.4%and 96.1%.Compared with the Sr/Zr single-addition,the removal effects of Sr and Zr co-addition on P and B do not show a significant downward trend, indicating that the nucleation and growth of the B/P-containing impurity phases are mutually independent. Finally,an evolution model is proposed to describe the nucleation and the growth stages of Sr/Zr-containing compound phases, which reveals the interaction between the impurity phases and the primary Si.Chen Chen Jingwei Li Qiuxia Zuo Boyuan Ban Jian Chen 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,2:0
Electrohydrodynamic Fabrication of Triple-layered Polycaprolactone Dura Mater Substitute with Antibacterial and Enhanced Osteogenic Capability显示文摘In the field of dura mater repair,it is essential to employ artificial substitutes mimicking the multilayered microar-chitecture and multiple functions of native dura mater for effective neurosurgery. However, existing artificial dura mater substitutes commonly cause complications because of mismatched structural and mechanical properties as well as the lack of antibacterial activity or osteogenic capability. In this study,a triple-layered dura mater substi-tute was fabricated by electrohydrodynamic(EHD)jetting techniques, including electrospinning and melt-based EHD printing processes.Highly aligned polycaprolactone(PCL)nanofibers loaded with gentamicin sulfate(GS)were prepared by electrospinning to form the inner layer, which can mimic the aligned collagen fibers of the native dura mater.Random PCL-GS nanofibers were then deposited by electrospinning to form the middle layer. They were intended to enhance the mechanical properties of the fabricated scaffolds. The outer layer involv-ing PCL microfibers doped with nano-hydroxyapatite(nHA)at various angles was printed by the melting-based EHD method, which can enhance osteogenic capability and promote the fusion between the dura mater substi-tute and the skull. The tensile strength of the triple-layered drug-loaded biomimetic dura mater substitute was 22.42±0.89 MPa,and the elongation at break was 36.43%±2.00%.The addition of GS endowed the substitutes with an anti-infection property without influencing their cytocompatibility.Furthermore, the incorporation of nHA promoted the osteogenic differentiation of MC3T3-E1 cells seeded on the triple-layered scaffolds. This work offers a promising strategy to manufacture multilayered dura mater substitutes with the desired antibacterial and enhanced osteogenic capability performance, possibly providing a novel candidate for dural tissue repair.Yanwen Su Zhi Li Hui Zhu Jiankang He Boyuan Wei Dichen Li 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2022,1,2:0
A deep reinforcement learning method for multi-stage equipment development planning in uncertain environments显示文摘Equipment development planning(EDP)is usually a long-term process often performed in an environment with high uncertainty. The traditional multi-stage dynamic programming cannot cope with this kind of uncertainty with unpredictable situations. To deal with this problem,a multi-stage EDP model based on a deep reinforcement learning(DRL)algorithm is proposed to respond quickly to any environmental changes within a reasonable range.Firstly, the basic problem of multi-stage EDP is described, and a mathematical planning model is constructed. Then, for two kinds of uncertainties(future capabi lity requirements and the amount of investment in each stage),a corresponding DRL framework is designed to define the environment, state, action, and reward function for multi-stage EDP.After that, the dueling deep Q-network(Dueling DQN)algorithm is used to solve the multi-stage EDP to generate an approximately optimal multi-stage equipment development scheme. Finally,a case of ten kinds of equipment in 100 possible environments, which are randomly generated,is used to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed models. The results show that the algorithm can respond instantaneously in any state of the multistage EDP environment and unlike traditional algorithms, the algorithm does not need to re-optimize the problem for any change in the environment. In addition, the algorithm can flexibly adjust at subsequent planning stages in the event of a change to the equipment capability requirements to adapt to the new requirements.LIU Peng XIA Boyuan YANG Zhiwei LI Jichao TAN Yuejin 2022Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,6:0
Network-based structure optimization method of the anti-aircraft system显示文摘The anti-aircraft system plays an irreplaceable role in modern combat. An anti-aircraft system consists of various types of functional entities interacting to destroy the hostile aircraft moving in high speed. The connecting structure of combat entities in it is of great importance for supporting the normal process of the system. In this paper, we explore the optimizing strategy of the structure of the anti-aircraft network by establishing extra communication channels between the combat entities.Firstly, the thought of combat network model(CNM) is borrowed to model the anti-aircraft system as a heterogeneous network. Secondly, the optimization objectives are determined as the survivability and the accuracy of the system. To specify these objectives, the information chain and accuracy chain are constructed based on CNM. The causal strength(CAST) logic and influence network(IN) are introduced to illustrate the establishment of the accuracy chain. Thirdly, the optimization constraints are discussed and set in three aspects: time, connection feasibility and budget. The time constraint network(TCN) is introduced to construct the timing chain and help to detect the timing consistency. Then, the process of the multi-objective optimization of the structure of the anti-aircraft system is designed. Finally, a simulation is conducted to prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method. Non-dominated sorting based genetic algorithm-Ⅱ(NSGA2) is used to solve the multiobjective optimization problem and two other algorithms including non-dominated sorting based genetic algorithm-Ⅲ(NSGA3)and strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm-Ⅱ(SPEA2) are employed as comparisons. The deciders and system builders can make the anti-aircraft system improved in the survivability and accuracy in the combat reality.ZHAO Qingsong DING Junyi LI Jichao LI Huachao XIA Boyuan 2023Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2023,34,2:0
Electrochemical Identification of Yulania spp. by Fingerprinting of Leaves Using Glassy Carbon Electrode显示文摘In this communication,we used electrochemical sensor for recording the electrochemical profiles of eleven species of Yulania spp.from leaf extract. Two solvents and two buffer conditions were used for electrochemical fingerprints collection.Their electrochemical fingerprints can be converted to different patterns and consequently for species recognition. The results indicate the pattern recognition is much convenient than that of the recognition of species directly using voltammetric signal. The current information in electrochemical fingerprinting represents the type and amount of electrochemically active molecules, which linked to the genetic differences among the plants. Therefore, the electrochemical fingerprints were applied for further phylogenetic study. The phylogenetic tree deduced from voltametric curves is divided into three main groups. The first clade contains Y.denudate,Liriodendron chinense,Y.cylindrica,Y.biondii,Y.sprengeri.The second clade contains Y.zenii,Y.liliiflora,Y.kobus,and Y.amoena.The third clade contains Y.×soulangeana,Manglietia fordiana and Y.sinostellata.In addition,Y.salicifolia is not in these main clades. The results demonstrate that electrochemical fingerprinting can be used as a com-plementary tool in the study of phylogenetics.Zhiguo Lu Yuhong Zheng Pengchong Zhang Boyuan Fan Aimin Yu Li Fu 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,11:0
