| 1 | Geochemical Characteristics and Genetic Types of Natural Gas in the Xinchang Gas Field, Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘The molecular compositions and stable carbon and hydrogen isotopic compositions of natural gas from the Xinchang gas field in the Sichuan Basin were investigated to determine the genetic types. The natural gas is mainly composed of methane (88.99%–98.01%), and the dryness coefficient varies between 0.908 and 0.997. The gas generally displays positive alkane carbon and hydrogen isotopic series. The geochemical characteristics and gas-source correlation indicate that the gases stored in the 5^(th) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are coal-type gases which are derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. The gases reservoired in the 4^(th) member of the Xujiahe Formation and Jurassic strata in the Xinchang gas field are also coal-type gases that are derived from source rocks in the 3^(rd) and 4^(th) members of the Xujiahe Formation. The gases reservoired in the 2^(nd) member of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation are mainly coal-type gases with small amounts of oil-type gas that is derived from source rocks in the stratum itself. This is accompanied by a small amount of contribution brought by source rocks in the Upper Triassic Ma'antang and Xiaotangzi formations. | 2 | Fishery Biology of Jumbo Flying Squid Dosidicus gigas off Costa Rica Dome显示文摘The jumbo flying squid(Dosidicus gigas) population was surveyed with the help of Chinese squid jigging vessels off the Costa Rica Dome(4°–11°N, 90°–100°W) in 2009 and 2010. The daily catch of D. gigas in the two survey cruises ranged from 0 to 5.5 t and was mostly obtained from the areas bounded by 6°–9°N and 91°–94°W and by 6°30′–7°30′N and 96°–97°W. The sea surface temperature in the areas yielding the most catch ranged from 27.5 to 29℃. The sex ratio of the total catch was 3.75:1(female: male). The mantle length of the squid ranged from 211 to 355 mm(male) and from 204 to 429 mm(female) with an average of 297.9 and 306.7 mm, respectively. In the relationship of the mantle length(mm) and body weight(g) of the squid, there was no significant difference between sexes. The female and male were at a similar maturity, and most individuals are maturing or have matured with a few females being spent. The size(mantle length) and age at the first sexual maturity were 297 mm and 195 d in females, and less than 211 mm and 130 d in males, respectively. Most of the sampled stomachs(70.6%) had no food remains. The major preys of the squids were fish, cephalopods and crustaceans, with the most abundant Myctophum orientale and D. gigas. The preys in more than 65% of the non-empty sampled stomachs evidenced the cannibalism of D. gigas. | 3 | Comparative analysis of the photosynthetic physiology and transcriptome of a high-yielding wheat variety and its parents显示文摘Photosynthesis is the fundamental basis of plant growth and development,and the improvement of photosynthetic efficiency can therefore promote increased crop yields.In this study,a comparative analysis of photosynthetic physiology and transcriptome was conducted between the high photosynthetic efficient variety BN207 and its parents BN64 and ZM16.The higher chlorophyll fluorescence,chlorophyll and carotenoid contents,and Lhcb1 protein accumulation in BN207 improved photosynthetic efficiency by promoting light energy absorption and conversion.Chloroplasts being distributed more closely to the cell membrane and the higher Rubisco enzyme activity of BN207 enhanced carbon assimilation,resulting in more carbohydrate accumulation in BN207.Transcriptome analysis revealed that there were several key genes mediating the high photosynthetic efficiency of BN207:Traes CS5 D02 G364100(chlorophyllase),BGI_novel_G006617(lycopeneε-cyclase),Traes CS4 A02 G034800 and Traes CS4 A02 G035100(Zeaxanthin epoxidase),Traes CS6 B02 G122500(light-harvesting complex II chlorophyll a/b binding protein 1).These genes improved the photosynthetic efficiency of BN207 mainly by reducing chlorophyll degradation,promoting carotenoid synthesis,and increasing Lhcb1 protein accumulation.These findings provide important background information for the cultivation of wheat varieties with high photosynthetic efficiency. | Huajie Liu Qidi Zhu Xinxin Pei Guozhen Xing Xingqi Ou Hua Li | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,6: | 3 |
| 4 | Reversible Al^(3+) storage mechanism in anatase TiO_(2) cathode material for ionic liquid electrolyte-based aluminum-ion batteries显示文摘Rechargeable aluminum ion battery(AIB) with high theoretical specific capacity, abundant elements and low cost engages considerable attention as a promising next generation energy storage and conversion system. Nevertheless, to date, one of the major barriers to pursuit better AIB is the limited applicable cathode materials with the ability to store aluminum highly reversibly. Herein, a highly reversible AIB is proposed using mesoporous TiO2 microparticles(M-TiO2) as the cathode material. The improved performance of Ti O2/Al battery is ascribed to the high ionic conductivity and material stability, which is caused by the stable architecture with a mesoporous microstructure and no random aggregation of secondary particles. In addition, we conducted detailed characterization to gain deeper understanding of the Al^(3+) storage mechanism in anatase Ti O2 for AIB. Our findings demonstrate clearly that Al^(3+)can be reversibly stored in anatase TiO2 by intercalation reactions based on ionic liquid electrolyte. Especially, DFT calculations were used to investigate the accurate insertion sites of aluminum ions in M-Ti O2 and the volume changes of M-TiO2 cells during discharging. As for the controversial side reactions in AIBs, in this work, by normalized calculation, we confirm that M-Ti O2 alone participate in the redox reaction. | 5 | Prescribed performance neural control to guarantee tracking quality for near space kinetic kill vehicle显示文摘A prescribed performance neural controller to guarantee tracking quality is addressed for the near space kinetic kill vehicle (NSKKV) to meet the state constraints caused by side window detection. Different from the traditional prescribed performance control in which the shape of the performance function is constant, this paper exploits new performance functions which can change the shape of their function according to different symbols of initial errors and can ensure the error convergence with a small overshoot. The neural backstepping control and the minimal learning parameters (MLP) technology are employed for exploring a prescribed performance controller (PPC) that provides robust tracking attitude reference trajectories. The highlight is that the transient performance of tracking errors is satisfactory and the computational load of neural approximation is low. The pseudo rate (PSR) modulator is used to shape the continuous control command to pulse or on-off signals to meet the requirements of the thruster. | 6 | Tensile and Isothermal Fatigue Behaviors of Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr Alloy at High Temperature显示文摘Tensile and isothermal fatigue tests were carried out on an as-rolled Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr alloy and its heat-treated counterpart at different temperatures. The experimental results show that the ultimate tensile strengths of two alloys decrease very slowly with increasing temperature up to 200?C. The ultimate tensile strength of heat-treated Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr is slight lower than that of as-rolled counterpart; however, the fatigue strength of heat-treated alloy is higher. The mechanism of fatigue failure was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). | 16 | Characteristics of the transient thermal load and deformation of the evacuated receiver in solar parabolic trough collector显示文摘As a core element in solar parabolic trough collector, the evaluated receiver often runs under severe thermal conditions. Worse still, the transient thermal load is more likely to cause structural deformation and damage. This work develops an efficient transient multi-level multi-dimensional(M2) analysis method to address photo-thermal-elastic problems, thereby estimating transient thermal load and deformation for the receiver:(i) one-dimensional(1-D) thermo-hydraulic model is adopted to determine the transient thermo-hydraulic state,(ii) 3-D finite volume method(FVM) model for the receiver tube is established to obtain the real-time temperature distribution,(iii) 3-D finite element method(FEM) model is employed to make thermoelastic analysis. Based on this M2 method, the typical transient cases are conducted in cold-start, disturbed-operation and regulatedprocess. Three indicators(average temperature of the wall(ATW), radial temperature difference(RTD), circumferential temperature difference(CTD)) are defined for overall analysis of the receiver thermal load. It is found that in the transient process,receivers face response delay and endure significant thermal load fluctuation. The response time for a single HCE(heat collecting element) under lower mass flow rate(1.5 kg s-1) could sustain 280 s. During the cold-start stage(DNI=200 W m-2 to 800 W m-2), the maximum value of CTD in receiver is as high as 11.67℃, corresponding to a maximum deflection of 1.05 cm.When the mass flow rate decreases sharply by 80%, the CTD reaches 33.04℃, causing a 2.06-cm deflection.
