| 1 | 小切口单髁置换和全膝关节置换配对比较临床早期结果显示文摘目的 通过配对比较 ,观察小切口单髁置换和全膝关节置换治疗单室膝关节骨性关节炎的早期临床结果。方法 2 0 0 1年 6~ 12月 ,新加坡中央医院采用小切口单髁置换连续治疗 5 0例内侧单室膝关节骨关节炎患者 ,同时对在年龄、临床症状、膝关节的X线分级上进行配对比较的 5 0例内侧单室膝关节骨关节炎患者进行全膝关节置换。小切口单髁置换组 ,男 9例 ,女 4 1例 ;年龄 5 2~ 85岁 ,平均 6 4岁。全膝关节置换组 ,男 8例 ,女 4 2例 ;年龄 5 5~ 80岁 ,平均 6 7岁。临床均表现为膝关节内侧间隙疼痛 ,AhlbackX线分级Ⅰ~Ⅲ级。结果 小切口单髁置换组与全膝关节置换组比较 ,具有出血量少、膝关节功能恢复快、住院时间短、并发症少、创伤小、康复快、费用少等优点。结论 对于单室膝关节骨关节炎 ,小切口单髁置换与全膝关节置换术比较 。 | 王铭春 Lo Ngai Nung Yeo Seng Jin Seow Kang Hong Yang Kuang Ying | 2002 | 上海医学2002,25,11: | 5 |
| 2 | Overview of the Shenzhen Emergency Medical Service Call Pattern显示文摘BACKGROUND:In Shenzhen,the Emergency Medical Service(EMS) system has been in service since 1997.This study aims to examine the operation of Shenzhen 120 EMS center and to identify the reasons of calling EMS.METHODS:In this retrospective quantitative descriptive study,the data from the Shenzhen 120 EMS registry in 2011 were analyzed.RESULTS:Shenzhen 120 EMS center is a communication command center.When the number of 120 are dialed,it is forwarded to the closest appropriate hospital for ambulance dispatch.In2011,the Shenzhen 120 EMS center received 153 160 ambulance calls,with an average of 420 calls per day.Calling emergency services was mainly due to traffic accidents.Trauma and other acute diseases constituted a majority of ambulance transports.The adult patients aged 15-60 years are the principal users of EMS.There are no recognized 'paramedic' doctors and nurses.The pre-hospital emergency service is under the operation of emergency departments of hospitals.Shenzhen at present does not have specialized pre-hospital training for doctors and nurses in posttrauma management.Moreover,specialized pre-hospital training,financial support,and public health education on proper use of EMS should be emphasized.CONCLUSION:The Shenzhen 120 EMS center has its own epidemiology characteristics.Traumatic injury and traffic accident are the main reasons for calling ambulance service.In-depth study emphasizing the distribution and characteristics of trauma patients is crucial to the future development of EMS. | Shuk Man Lo Yi Min Yu Lap Yip Larry Lee Mi Ling Eliza Wong Sek Ying Chair Edward J Kalinowski Tak Shing Jimmy Chan | 2012 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2012,3,4: | 4 |
| 3 | Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management (Health-EDRM):Developing the Research Field within the Sendai Framework Paradigm显示文摘The intersection of health and disaster risk reduction(DRR) has emerged in recent years as a field of critical inquiry.Health is recognized as an outcome and a goal of DRR,and the integration of both fields is essential to ensure the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030.Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management(Health-EDRM) has emerged as an umbrella field that encompasses emergency and disaster medicine,DRR,humanitarian response,community health resilience,and health systems resilience.In September 2016,an international group of experts met in Hong Kong to assess the current status and potential of the Health-EDRM research field,a research area that these scholars characterized as underdeveloped and fragmented.Key challenges identified include research overlap,lack ofstrategic research agenda,absence of consensus regarding terminology,and limited coordination between stakeholders.The Sendai Framework provides a useful paradigm within which to shape the research field's strategic development.The WHO Thematic Platform for Health-EDRM Research Group was established to coordinate activities,promote information-sharing,develop partnerships,and provide technical advice to strengthen the Health-EDRM research field.This group will promote the generation of robust and scientific health research to support the meaningful implementation of the Sendai Framework. | Sharon Tsoon Ting Lo Emily Ying Yang Chan Gloria Kwong Wai Chan Virginia Murray Jonathan Abrahams Ali Ardalan Ryoma Kayano Johnny Chung Wai Yau | 2017 | International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2017,8,2: | 3 |

| 19 | Effects of primary glaucoma on sleep quality and daytime sleepiness of patients residing at an equatorial latitude显示文摘AIM:To investigate the impact of primary glaucoma on sleep quality and daytime sleepiness of patients.METHODS:Prospective cross-sectional study with consecutive sampling in South-East Asian population was performed.Validated questionnaires:the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Epworth Sleepiness Scale(ESS)were administered prospectively.Subjects with nonglaucomatous optic neuropathy or concomitant retinal pathology were excluded.Glaucoma severity was based on HVF 24-2 perimetry.Binocular single vision was represented based on the better eye.Frequency of and predictive factors for poor sleep quality and excessive daytime sleepiness were compared.RESULTS:A total of 79 primary open angle glaucoma(POAG),27 primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG)patients,and 89 controls were recruited.PACG patients had higher median PSQI scores(P=0.004)and poorer sleep quality(P<0.001).Compared to controls,PACG patients were 3.34 times more likely to have poor sleep quality(P=0.008),which remained significant after adjustment for demographics(P=0.016)and predictive variables(P=0.013).PACG patients have poorer sleep quality when visual acuity(VA)was 6/15 or worse(P=0.009).Univariate and multivariate analysis of predictive variables for poor sleep quality and daytime sleepiness did not find statistical significance.CONCLUSION:PACG patients have poorer sleep quality but not daytime sleepiness.This is important in South-East Asian population with heavy disease burden.Evaluations on sleep disturbances can be considered to provide more ho istic care. | Jacob YH Chin Zhi Hong Toh Ying Tai Lo Hannah TY Wang Elizabeth YW Poh Chun Hau Chua Owen Kim Hee Boon Ang Lim Vernon KY Yong Augustinus Laude Hon Tym Wong Leonard WL Yip | 2020 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2020,13,9: | 0 |
