| 1 | Eruption of the Continental Flood Basalts at -259 Ma in the Emeishan Large Igneous Province, SW China: Evidence from Laser Microprobe ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar Dating显示文摘A suite of continental flood basalts sampled over a vast exposure and stratigraphic thickness in the Emeishan large igneous province (LIP), SW China was investigated for laser microprobe 40Ar/39Ar dating. There are two 40Ar/39Ar age groups for these basalts, corresponding to 259-246 Ma and 177-137 Ma, respectively. A well-defined isochron gives an eruption age of huge quantities of mafic magmas at 258.9±3.4 Ma, which is identical to previous dating and paleontological data. Much younger 40Ar/39Ar ages for some basalts with low-greenschist metamorphic facies probably recorded a late thermo-tectonic event caused by collision between the Yangtze and Qiangtang continental blocks during the Mesozoic, which resulted in the reset of argon isotope system. The 40Ar/39Ar age data, we present here, combined with previous dating and paleontological data, suggest relatively short duration (about 3 Ma) of mafic volcanism, which have important implication on mantle plume genesis of the Emeishan continental flood basalts in the LIP. | HOU Zengqian CHEN Wen LU Jiren | 2006 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2006,80,4: | 15 |
| 2 | Polygenetic Mineralization of the Early ProterozoicTongkuangyu Metaporphyry Copper Deposit inthe Zhongtiao Mountains,Shanxi Province显示文摘The Tongkuangyu metaporphyry copper deposit formed in the Early Proterozoic is tectonically located in the northern part of the Zhongtiao X -type palaeorift depression, on the southern margin of the North China platform. The genesis of the deposit has long been a hot subject of research of geologists working on mineral deposits. By means of the protolith reconstruction and fluid inclusion and isotope studies of host rocks of the deposits, the authors hold that this deposit is the product of combined exogenic, endogenic and metamorphic processes. | 3 | A new method of combined rock drilling显示文摘Based on the technologies of traditionally mechanical drilling and water jet,we propose a new method of abrasive water jet in combination with rock drilling,and establish a combined rock drilling system for the gas pre-drainage.This study chose the common sandstone and silicon limestone as the rock sample.A series of experiments were completed in the case of dry drilling,existing technology drilling,combined drilling with high pressure water jet and combined drilling with abrasive water jet,respectively.The drilling efficiency and performance were contrasted and analyzed in detail.The results indicate that it is better to choose the method of combined drilling with the high-pressure water jet for soft rocks.The method of combined drilling with abrasive water jet is feasible for the hard rock drilling and has higher drilling efficiency and performance.In this paper,compared with the existing technology,the drilling depth has increased by about 65%,the axial force and torque have reduced by about 14%and 17%,respectively,and the drill wear reduces obviously in the same conditions. | Tang Jiren Lu Yiyu Ge Zhaolong Xia Binwei Sun Huijuan Du Peng | 2014 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2014,24,1: | 5 |
| 4 | Progress on the hydraulic measures for grid slotting and fracking to enhance coal seam permeability显示文摘A method of hydraulic grid slotting and hydraulic fracturing was proposed to enhance the permeability of low permeability coal seam in China. Micro-structural development and strength characteristics of coal were analysed to set up the failure criterion of coal containing water and gas, which could describe the destruction rule of coal containing gas under the hydraulic measures more accurately. Based on the theory of transient flow and fluid grid, the numerical calculation model of turbulence formed by high pressure oscillating water jet was used. With the high speed photography test, dynamic evolution and pulsation characteristics of water jet water analysed which laid a foundation for mechanism analysis of rock damage under water jet. Wave equation of oscillating water jet slotting was established and the mechanism of coal damage by the impact stress wave under oscillation jet was revealed. These provide a new method to study the mechanism of porosity and crack damage under high pressure jet.Fracture criterion by jet slotting was established and mechanism of crack development controlled by crack zone between slots was found. The fractures were induced to extend along pre-set direction,instead of being controlled by original stress field. The model of gas migration through coal seams after the hydraulic measures for grid slotting and fracking was established. The key technology and equipment for grid slotting and fracking with high-pressure oscillating jet were developed and applied to coal mines in Chongqing and Henan in China. | 6 | Switching mechanism and optimisation research on a pressure-attitude adaptive adjusting coal seam water jet slotter显示文摘To investigate the attitude-switching mechanisms of existing jet slotters,which integrate drilling,punching and slotting operations,and to improve its fracture ability,we used the power bond diagram theory to analyse the dynamic flow pressure,and force of slotters.A mathematical model was developed for the dynamic characteristics of slotter systems.Furthermore,to study the effect of the main characteristic parameters on the ability of the nozzle to erode sandstone,multi-orthogonal experiments were carried out.And the optimised slots were applied in later practical operations.The research results show that the inlet fluid passed through the time-varying orifice to generate pressure differential thrust,which overcame the spring force,pushed the valve core to open the side nozzle,and closed the rear cavity channel thereby realising the switch of the slotter attitude.An optimal plan was established to balance the diameter,depth,and volume of punching,and a rock-breaking plan was developed for the slotter.Subsequently,the optimised water jet slotter was practically used in coal seam gas drainage.Compared with conventional dense drilling,water jet slotting technology significantly improves the ability,efficiency,and effect of increasing the permeability of the coal seam. | Yiyu Lu Yangkai Zhang Jiren Tang Qi Yao | 2022 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,6: | 1 |
| 7 | Extraction and application of the low dimensional dynamical component from underwater acoustic target radiating noise显示文摘Signal processing in phase space based on nonlinear dynamics theory is a new method for underwater acoustic signal processing. One key problem when analyzing actual acoustic signal in phase space is how to reduce the noise and lower the embedding dimen- sion. In this paper, local-geometric-projection method is applied to obtain fow dimensional element from various target radiating noise and the derived phase portraits show obviously low dimensional attractors. Furthermore, attractor dimension and cross prediction error are used for classification. In STM, the acoustic observations of an acoustic unit are represented as clusters of trajectories in a parameter space.The trajectories are modelled by mixture of probability density functions of random sequence of states. After analyzing the characteristics of Chinese speech, the acoustic units for continuous Chinese speech recognition based on STM are discussed and phone-like units are suggested. The performance of continuous Chinese speech recognition based on STM is studied on VINICS system. | 16 | Formation Principle and Characteristics of Self‑Supercharging Pulsed Water Jet显示文摘High-pressure pulsed water jet technology has considerable development potential in the field of rock fragmentation.To overcome the shortcomings of existing pulsed jets,a self-supercharging pulsed water jet(SSPWJ)generation method is proposed,which is based on the theory of the pulsed water jet and the principle of hydraulic boosting.The proposed method changes the flow direction of the fluid medium through the valve core to make the piston reciprocate in the cylinder and relies on the effective area difference between the front and rear chambers in the stroke stage of the piston to realize the organic combination of“pulse”and“supercharging”of the jet,thus forming an SSPWJ.On the basis of the formation principle of the SSPWJ,a SSPWJ testing platform was constructed,and tests were performed on the jet pressure acquisition,morphology capture,and granite erosion.Both the jet pressure and the jet morphology exhibited periodic changes,and a higher pulse pressure was obtained at lower inlet pressure.The error of the pressure ratio calculated according to the experimental results was<3%relative to the theoretical design value,confirming the feasibility of the method.The pulse pressure and pulse frequency are controllable;that is,as the inlet flow rate increases in the stroke stage of the piston,the pulse pressure and pulse frequency increase,and the pulse duration decreases.As the inlet flow rate increases in the backward-stroke stage of the piston,the pulse frequency increases,and the pulse pressure and pulse duration remain unchanged.Under the combined action of the waterhammer pressure,high-speed lateral flow,and high-frequency dynamic load of the SSPWJ,local flaky exfoliation was observed when the granite surface was eroded.The results of this study lay the foundation for enriching the theory of pulsed jet generation and expanding its application range. | Zhaolong Ge Yuanfei Ling Jiren Tang Yiyu Lu Yangkai Zhang Lei Wang Qi Yao | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,3: | 0 |
| 17 | Analysis and Numerical Simulation of Hydrofracture Crack Propagation in Coal-Rock Bed显示文摘In underground coal mines,hydrofracture can cause the increase of breathability in the fractured coal bed.When the hydrofracture crack propagates to the interface between the coal bed and the roof-floor stratum,the crack may enter roof-floor lithology,thus posing a limit on the scope of breathability increase and making it difficult to support the roof and floor board for subsequent coal mining.In this work,a two-dimensional model of coal rock bed that contains hydrofracture crack was constructed.Then an investigation that combines the fracture mechanics and the system of flow and solid in rock failure process analysis(RFPA2D-Flow)were carried out to study the failure mechanism at the interface between rocks and coals,and critical water pressure that hydrofracture crack propagates.The results indicated that the main factors that affect the direction of hydrofracture crack propagation are the angle of intersection between coal-rock interface and horizontal section,horizontal crustal stress difference,tension-shear mixed crack fracture toughness in coal-rock interface and differences in elasticity modulus of coal-rock bed.The possibility of crack directly entering coal-rock interface would increase with the increase in angle of intersection or horizontal crustal stress difference.The trend that crack propagates along the coal-rock interface will become stronger with the decrease of the fracture toughness at the coal-rock interface and the increase of the elasticity modulus difference between the coal bed and the roof strata.The results of this study was to put forward a method of controlling hydrofracture crack,optimize the fracturing well location provides a certain theoretical basis. | Yiyu Lu Chenpeng Song Yunzhong Jia Binwei Xia Zhaolong Ge Jiren Tang Qian Li | 2015 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2015,,5: | 0 |
