2Crop 3D a LiDAR based platform for 3D high-throughput crop phenotyping显示文摘With the growing population and the reducing arable land, breeding has been considered as an effective way to solve the food crisis.As an important part in breeding, high-throughput phenotyping can accelerate the breeding process effectively. Light detection and ranging(LiDAR) is an active remote sensing technology that is capable of acquiring three-dimensional(3 D) data accurately,and has a great potential in crop phenotyping. Given that crop phenotyping based on LiDAR technology is not common in China,we developed a high-throughput crop phenotyping platform, named Crop 3 D, which integrated LiDAR sensor, high-resolution camera, thermal camera and hyperspectral imager. Compared with traditional crop phenotyping techniques, Crop 3 D can acquire multi-source phenotypic data in the whole crop growing period and extract plant height, plant width, leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, leaf inclination angle and other parameters for plant biology and genomics analysis. In this paper, we described the designs,functions and testing results of the Crop 3 D platform, and briefly discussed the potential applications and future development of the platform in phenotyping. 3Preparation of mulberry-like RuO_(2) electrode material for supercapacitors显示文摘As a newly emerging excellent energy storage device,supercapacitors have been widely studied due to their unique advantages.Electrode material is one of the key components that determine the performance of a supercapacitor.Among the various electrode materials of supercapacitors,RuO_(2) has attracted great attention in the scientific community due to its high theoretical energy storage capability and excellent stability.However,most RuO_(2) materials suffer the problem of low specific surface area,causing a much lower actual capacitance value compared to the theoretical performance of the material.In this work,a mulberry-like RuO_(2) electrode material with large specific surface area(159.4 m^(2)·g^(-1))was successfully synthesized by a facial hydrothermal method.The electrochemical characterization has shown that the RuO_(2) possesses a high specific capacitance of 400 F·g^(-1) at a current density of 0.2 A·g^(-1) and good capacitance retention rate of 84.7%after 6000 charge/discharge cycles under a current density of 10 A·g^(-1).The energy densities and power densities of the RuO_(2)-AC supercapacitor vary from25.0 to 11.7 Wh·kg^(-1) and 160 to 10,560 W·kg^(-1) at current density ranging from 0.2 to 10.0 A·g^(-1),respectively.Feng Yu Le Pang Hong-Xia Wang 2021Rare Metals2021,40,2:6

5Heritability of growth traits in the Asian seabass (Lates calcarifer)显示文摘Growth is an economically important trait in aquaculture.To improve growth trait of the Asian seabass(Lates calcarifer)we have been carrying out,since 2004,a selective breeding program.This study focuses on growth traits in the F2 fish generation,comprised of offspring from 23 mass crosses from 383 F_(1) brooders.Using genotyping analysis for 10 microsatellites from both brood stock and progeny we have reconstructed the pedigree of each mass-cross.For F_(2) generation at 90 days post hatch(dph),we have recorded body weight(BW)for 12,117 individuals and total length(TL),standard length(SL)and condition factor(K_(tl) and K_(sl))for 3530 individuals;and all five traits for 2136 individuals at 270 dph.At 90 dph the average BW was 46.88±20.95 g.Combining pedigree information,recorded growth traits and Restricted Maximum Likelihood method,we have estimated that the narrow sense heritability(h^(2))in F_(1) fish for BW,TL,SL,K_(tl) and K_(sl) was at,90 dph,0.12±0.03,0.11±0.03,0.10±0.03,0.20±0.04 and 0.11±0.03,respectively and,at 270 dph,0.34±0.07,0.32±0.07,0.30±0.06,0.13±0.04 and 0.11±0.04,respectively.At 90 dph the realised heritability for BW was 0.13.Comparing with F_(1) generation,the growth performance of F_(2) fish was increased by 14.4%.Heritability of growth traits will be useful for future genetic improvement programmes of the Asian seabass.Baoqing Ye Ziyi Wan Le Wang Hongyan Pang Yanfei Wen Huiming Liu Bing Liang Huan Sein Lim Junhui Jiang Genhua Yue 2017Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,3:4
6Surface acoustic wave humidity sensors based on uniform and thickness controllable graphene oxide thin films formed by surface tension显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO)is a promising candidate for humidity sensing,and the uniformity and thickness of GO films are important for the reproducibility and test signal strength of humidity sensors.In this paper,uniform and thicknesscontrollable GO films are first formed by the surface tension of different concentrations of GO solution and then transferred to surface acoustic wave(SAW)humidity sensors.This GO film formation and transfer process has very good repeatability and stability,as evidenced by the humidity response of the sensors.With the help of the uniform and highly oxidized GO film,the humidity sensors show a significantly high sensitivity(absolute sensitivity of 25.3 kHz/%RH and relative sensitivity of 111.7 p.p.m./%RH)in a wide test range from 10%RH to 90%RH with very little hysteresis(<1%RH).The sensors achieve good reversibility,excellent short-term repeatability and stability.Moreover,the humidity sensors also show a fast response and recovery time of<10 s.Xianhao Le Yihan Liu Li Peng Jintao Pang Zhen Xu Chao Gao Jin Xie 2019Microsystems & Nanoengineering2019,5,1:4

11Real-space visualization of intercalated water phases at the hydrophobic graphene interface with atomic force microscopy显示文摘The phase behavior of water is a topic of perpetual interest due to its reinai kable anomalous properties and importance to biology,material science,geoscience,nanoscience,etc.It is predicted confined water at interface can exist in large amounts of crystalline or amorphous states.However,the experimental evidence of coexistence of liquid water phases at interface is still insufficient.Here,a special folding few-layers graphene film was elaborate prepared to form a hydrophobic/hydrophobic interface,which can provide a suited platform to study the structure and properties of confined liquid water.The real-space visualization of intercalated water layers phases at the folding interface is obtained using advanced atomic force microscopy(AFM).The folding graphene interface displays complicated internal interfacial characteristics.The intercalated water molecules present themselves as two phases,low-density liquid(LDL,solid-like)and high-density liquid(HDL,liquid-like),according to their specific mechanical properties taken in two multifrequency-AFM(MF-AFM)modes.Furthermore,the water molecules structural evolution is demonstrated in a series of continuous MF-AFM measurements.The work preliminary confirms the existence of two liquid phases of water in real space and will inspire further experimental work to deeply understanding their liquid dynamics behavior.Zhi-Yue Zheng Rui Xu Kun-Qi Xu Shi-Li Ye Fei Pang Le Lei Sabir Hussain Xin-Meng Liu Wei Ji Zhi-Hai Cheng 2020Frontiers of physics2020,15,2:1
