1Synthesis, DNA-binding and photocleavage studies of ruthenium(Ⅱ) complexes [Ru(btz)_3]^(2+) and [Ru(btz)(dppz)_2]^(2+)显示文摘Two new ruthenium(Ⅱ) complexes, [Ru(btz)3](ClO4)2 (1) and [Ru(btz)(dppz)2](ClO4)2 (2) (btz = 4,4′-bithi-azole, dppz = dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, ES-MS and X-ray crystallography. The DNA binding behaviors of two complexes have been studied by spectroscopic and viscosity measurements. The results suggest that complex 1 binds to CT-DNA via an electrostatic mode, while complex 2 via an intercalative mode. Under irradiation at 365 nm, both complexes were found to promote the cleavage of plasmid pBR 322 DNA from supercoiled form Ⅰ to nicked form Ⅱ. 3Environmentally benign chemical fixation of CO_(2) catalyzed by the functionalized ion-exchange resins显示文摘Basic ion-exchange resins,one kind of polystyryl-supported tertiary amine,were demonstrated to be highly efficient and recyclable catalysts for the fixation of carbon dioxide with aziridines under mild conditions,leading to the formation of 5-aryl-2-oxazolidinone with excellent regio-selectivities.Notably,neither solvents nor any additives were required,and the catalyst could be recovered by simple filtration and directly reused at least five times without significant loss of catalytic activity and selectivity.The present protocol has been applied to reactions of epoxides/propargyl amines with CO_(2)/CS2.This solvent-free process thus represents environmentally friendly catalytic conversion of CO_(2) into value-added chemicals and may have potential in various continuous flow reactors in industry.LIU AnHua HE LiangNian PENG ShiYong PAN ZhongDa WANG JingLun GAO Jian 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,7:2

14Study of transient luminescence of three kinds of Ru complexes bound to DNA显示文摘The transient luminescence of three kinds of ruthenium complexes [Ru(bpy)2(7-CH3-dppz)]2+, [Ru(bpy)2(7-F-dppz)]2+ and [Ru(phen)2(7-F-dppz)]2+ bound to calf thy-mus DNA (ctDNA) has been studied by using the time-resolved spectroscopy. The results show that the luminescence is due to the radiative decay from the charge-transfer states to the ground state. By the interaction with DNA, the radia-tiveless rate of the photoexcited Ru complex molecules decreases, which results in the increase of luminescence lifetime and efficiency. The structure of the Ru com-plex has an important impact on the interaction with DNA. The [Ru(bpy)2(7-CH3-dppz)]2+ shows the longest luminescence lifetime (about 382 ns), while the [Ru(bpy)2(7-F-dppz)]2+ shows the shortest lifetime (about 65 ns).
