2Effects of citrus tree-shape and spraying height of small unmanned aerial vehicle on droplet distribution显示文摘In order to explore the droplet penetration of spraying with unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)on citrus trees with different shapes,the tests were carried out at different working heights.The material was five years old Cocktail grapefruit(Citrus paradisi cv.Cocktail)grafted on Trafoliata(Poncirus trifoliata L.Raf.)and the type of UAV sprayer used was the 3W-LWS-Q60S.A solution of 300 times Ponceau 2R diluents liquid instead of pesticide was used for citrus fields spraying and the droplets were collected by paper cards.Droplets deposition parameters were extracted and analyzed using digital image processing after scanning the cards.The results showed that:1)For the trees with round head shape canopy,the droplet depositions of the upper,middle and lower layers had a significant difference at 0.05 level.The droplet deposition had the best effect when the working height was 1.0 m,where the average droplet deposition densities were 39.97 droplets/cm2 and the average droplet size was 0.30 mm,but the droplet coverage(3.19%)was lower than that at the working height of 1.5 m(4.27%).2)Under three different working heights of UAV,the tree with open center shape can obtain higher droplet deposition density at all three layers than that with the round head shape canopy.It was especially prominent when the working height was 1.0 m,as the middle layer increased by 49.92%.However,the higher range of droplet deposition density meant larger fluctuation and dispersion.3)The open center shape canopy and the 1.0 m working height obviously improved the droplet coverage rate and droplet density in the citrus plant.For these parameters of open center shape citrus tree,there was no obvious difference in the front and rear direction,but in the left and middle part of the tree crown,the difference reached a 0.05 significant level.Considering droplet deposition characteristics and the spray uniformity,the UAV performed better when working on open center shape plants at a 1.0 m working height.Zhang Pan Deng Lie Lyu Qiang He Shaolan Yi Shilai Liu Yande Yu Yongxu Pan Haiyang 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4:37

4Validation and Characterization of Ghd7.1, a Major Quantitative Trait Locus with Pleiotropic Effects on Spikelets per Panicle, Plant Height, and Heading Date in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘A quantitative trait locus(QTL)that affects heading date(HD)and the number of spikelets per panicle(SPP)was previously identifed in a small region on chromosome 7 in rice(Oryza sativa L.).In order to further characterize the QTL region,near isogenic lines(NILs)were quickly obtained by self‐crossing recombinant inbred line 189,which is heterozygous in the vicinity of the target region.The pleiotropic effects of QTL Ghd7.1 on plant height(PH),SPP,and HD,were validated using an NIL‐F2 population.Ghd7.1 explained 50.2%,45.3%,and 76.9% of phenotypic variation in PH,SPP,and HD,respectively.Ghd7.1 was precisely mapped to a 357‐kb region on the basis of analysis of the progeny of the NIL‐F2 population.Day‐length treatment confrmed that Ghd7.1 is sensitive to photoperiod,with long days delaying heading up to 12.5 d.Identifcation of panicle initiation and development for the pair of NILs showed that Ghd7.1 elongated the photoperiod‐sensitive phase more than 10 d,but did not change the basic vegetative phase and the reproductive growth phase.These fndings indicated that Ghd7.1 regulates SPP by controlling the rate of panicle differentiation rather than the duration of panicle development.Touming Liu Haiyang Liu Huang Zhang Yongzhong Xing 2013Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2013,55,10:22
5Kinematic analysis and experiment of planetary five-bar planting mechanism for zero-speed transplanting on mulch film显示文摘A novel seedling transplanting mechanism with planetary five-bar was developed in order to solve some problems when transplanting seedlings on mulch film,such as a large cave diameter,a low proportion of upright seedlings,and inconsistent planting depths,which seriously restrict the development of transplanting equipment used in dryland agriculture.The planetary five-bar structure of transplanting mechanism was designed based on analysis of the seedling transplanter on mulch film.The kinematics model of the transplanting mechanism was established and the optimal parameters of the transplanting mechanism were obtained by satisfying the motion trajectory conditions.Subsequently,the virtual prototype of transplanting mechanism was developed,and the simulation of motion trajectory was illustrated.Finally,the physical prototype of the transplanting mechanism was assembled and tested with the high-speed photography.The simulation results indicated that the desired“spindle”trajectory for the duckbill can be obtained,of which the height was 350 mm,and the diameter of the planting cave was 32 mm.The experimental results showed that the diameter of the planting cave was less than 70 mm,the seedling perpendicularity qualification rate reached 96%,the film injury rate was less than 0.5%,and the hanging membrane phenomenon was avoided.Therefore,the proposed transplanting mechanism can meet the requirements for a mulch-film transplanting machine.Liu Jiaodi Cao Weibin Tian Dongyang Tang Haiyang Zhao Hongzheng 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4:20

9Numerical simulation of gas flow process in mining-induced crack network显示文摘The exploitation of coal bed methane or coal gas is one of the most effective solutions of the problem of coal gas hazard.A better understanding of gas flow in mining-induced cracks plays an important role in comprehensive development and utilization of coal gas as well as prevention of coal gas hazard.This paper presents a case study of gas flow in mining-induced crack network regarding the situation of low permeability of coal seam.A two-dimensional physical model is constructed on the basis of geological background of mining face No.1122(1) in coal seam No.11-2,Zhangji Coal Mine,Huainan Mining Group Corporation.The mining-induced stress and cracks in overburden rocks are obtained by simulating an extraction in physical model.An evolution of mining-induced cracks in the process of advancing of coal mining face is characterized and three typical crack networks are taken from digital photos by means of image analysis.Moreover,the numerical software named COMSOL Multiphysics is employed to simulate the process of gas flow in three representative crack networks.Isograms of gas pressure at various times in mining-induced crack networks are plotted,suggesting a shape and dimension of gas accumulation area.Zhou Hongwei Liu Jinfeng Xue Dongjie Yi Haiyang Xue Junhua 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6:14

12Memristors with organic-inorganic halide perovskites显示文摘Organic-inorganic halide perovskites(OHPs)have been intensively studied for application in solar cells with high conversion efficiency exceeding 22%.The unique electrical and optical properties of OHPs have led to their use in optoelectronic device applications beyond photovoltaics,such as light-emitting diodes,photodetectors,transistors.New information storage technologies and computing architectures are being researched extensively with the aim of addressing the growing challenge of approaching end of Moore's law and von Neumann bottleneck.As the fourth basic circuit element,memristor is a leading candidate with powerful capabilities in information storage and neuromorphic computing applications.Recently,OHPs have received growing attention as promising materials for memristors.In particular,their mixed ionic-electronic conduction ability paired with light sensitivity provide OHPs with the opportunity to display novel functions such as optical-erase memory,optogenetics-inspired synaptic functions,and lightaccelerated learning capability.This review covers recent advances in OHP-based memristors development including memristive mechanism and analytical models,universal memristive characteristics for memory and neuromorphic computing applications,and novel multi-functionalization.Challenges and future prospects of OHP-based memristors are also discussed.Xiaoning Zhao Haiyang Xu Zhongqiang Wang Ya Lin Yichun Liu 2019InfoMat2019,1,2:10

15GW5-Like, a homolog of GW5, negatively regulates grain width, weight and salt resistance in rice显示文摘Grain size is an important determinant of yield potential in crops. We previously demonstrated that natural mutations in the regulatory sequences of qSW5/GW5 confer grain width diversity in rice. However, the biological function of a GW5 homolog, named GW5-Like(GW5 L), remains unknown. In this study, we report on GW5 L knockout mutants in Kitaake, a japonica cultivar(cv.)considered to have a weak gw5 variant allele that confers shorter and wider grains. GW5 L is evenly expressed in various tissues, and its protein product is localized to the plasma membrane. Biochemical assays verified that GW5 L functions in a similar fashion to GW5. It positively regulates brassinosteroid(BR) signaling through repression of the phosphorylation activity of GSK2. Genetic data show that GW5 L overexpression in either Kitaake or a GW5 knockout line, Kasaorf3(indica cv. Kasalath background), causes more slender, longer grains relative to the wild-type. We also show that GW5 L could confer salt stress resistance through an association with calmodulin protein OsCa M1-1. 16Soybean AP1 homologs control flowering time and plant height显示文摘Flowering time and plant height are key agronomic traits that directly affect soybean(Glycine max)yield.APETALA1(AP1)functions as a class A gene in the ABCE model for floral organ development,helping to specify carpel,stamen,petal,and sepal identities.There are four AP1 homologs in soybean,all of which are mainly expressed in the shoot apex.Here,we used clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)–CRISPR-associated protein 9 technology to generate a homozygous quadruple mutant,gmap1,with loss-of-function mutations in all four GmAP1 genes.Under short-day(SD)conditions,the gmap1 quadruple mutant exhibited delayed flowering,changes in flower morphology,and increased node number and internode length,resulting in plants that were taller than the wild type.Conversely,overexpression of GmAP1a resulted in early flowering and reduced plant height compared to the wild type under SD conditions.The gmap1 mutant and the overexpression lines also exhibited altered expression of several genes related to flowering and gibberellic acid metabolism,thereby providing insight into the role of GmAP1 in the regulatory networks controlling flowering time and plant height in soybean.Increased node number is the trait with the most promise for enhancing soybean pod number and grain yield.Therefore,the mutant alleles of the four AP1 homologs described here will be invaluable for molecular breeding of improved soybean yield.Liyu Chen Haiyang Nan Lingping Kong Lin Yue Hui Yang Qingsong Zhao Chao Fang Haiyang Li Qun Cheng Sijia Lu Fanjiang Kong Baohui Liu Lidong Dong 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,12:9

18Wind tunnel experimental study on droplet drift reduction by a conical electrostatic nozzle for pesticide spraying显示文摘Droplet drift wastes pesticide,pollutes the environment,and has become one of the focus issues of agricultural crop protection.Electrostatic spray technology reduces drift to a certain degree.In order to investigate the droplet drift pattern of a conical electrostatic nozzle,the droplet drift mass center distance was defined as an experimental index and used to conduct experimental wind tunnel studies on droplet drift.A mathematical model of the droplet drift mass center distance versus electrostatic voltage and wind speed was created via the regression method.The test results showed that the electrostatic voltage had an insignificant effect on droplet drift,the wind speed and its interaction with the electrostatic voltage had significant effects on droplet drift.When the wind speed was less than 3 m/s and stable,the crop adsorbability of a droplet had a dominant effect on the droplet drift;the droplet drift decreased with the increase of electrostatic voltage.When the wind speed exceeded 3 m/s and was stable,the reduced droplet particle size had a dominant effect on droplet drift,where droplet drift increased as the electrostatic voltage increased.When the wind speed was 0 m/s and the electrostatic voltage was 12 kV,the minimum droplet drift mass center distance was 35.5 mm,which was 56 mm less than that of conventional nozzle droplet drift.Therefore,a conical electrostatic nozzle is inapplicable for operation in an environment where wind speeds exceed 3 m/s.This study provides a reference for optimizing operational parameters of conical electrostatic nozzles and improving the anti-drift capability of droplets.Zhang Wei Hou Yongrui Liu Xin Lian Qi Fu Xiaoming Zhang Bo Wang Haiyang Wang Yingqian 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,3:8
19FHY3 and FAR1 Integrate Light Signals with the miR156-SPL Module-Mediated Aging Pathway to Regulate Arabidopsis Flowering显示文摘In response to competition for light from their neighbors,shade-intolerant plants flower precociously to ensure reproductive success and survival.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying this key developmental switch are not well understood.Here,we show that a pair of Arabidopsis transcription factors essential for phytochrome A signaling,FAR-RED ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL3(FHY3)and FAR-RED IMPAIRED RESPONSE1(FAR1),regulate flowering time by integrating environmental light signals with the miR156-SPL module-mediated aging pathway.We found that FHY3 and FAR1 directly interact with three flowering-promoting SQUAMOSA-PROMOTER BINDING PROTEIN-LIKE(SPL)transcription factors,SPL3,SPL4,and SPL5,and inhibit their binding to the promoters of several key flowering regulatory genes,including FRUITFUL(FUL),LEAFY(LFY),APETALA1(AP1),and MIR172C,thus downregulating their transcript levels and delaying flowering.Under simulated shade conditions,levels of SPL3/4/5 proteins increase,whereas levels of FHY3 and FAR1 proteins decline,thus releasing SPL3/4/5 from FHY3/FAR1 inhibition to allow activation of FUL,LFY,AP1,and MIR172C and,consequently,early flowering.Taken together,these results unravel a novel mechanism whereby plants regulate flowering time by integrating environmental cues(such as light conditions)and an internal developmental program(the miR156-SPL module-mediated aging pathway).Yurong Xie Qin Zhou Yongping Zhao Quanquan Li Yang Liu Mengdi Ma Baobao Wang Rongxin Shen Zhigang Zheng Haiyang Wang 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,3:8
20Immunocytochemical Study of Cells in the Vitreous of Proliferative Vitreoretretinopathy显示文摘Purpose: To identify the cellular components of vitreous samples obtained during vit-rectomy for proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR).Methods: With the use of three intermediate filament (IF) proteins, vimentin, glialfibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), and cytokeratin (CK), cytocentrifuge slides of 14fresh vitreous aspirates were detected with immunohistochemical technique.Results: All the specimens contained epithelial-like proliferative cells with or withoutpigment and some membrane-like pieces. Immunocytochemical staining showed that76.0-90.0% cells stained for CK, 17.4-29.6% cells expressed GFAP, and 80.1-91.0% cells were positive for vimentin.Conclusions : Majority of cells in the vitreous samples originated from retinal pigmentepithelial cells (RPE) and glial cells in PVR. Expression of IF proteins may be determinedby tissue of origin and local microenvironment.
