| 1 | Evaluation of triage strategies for high-risk human papillomavirus-positive women in cervical cancer screening:A multicenter randomized controlled trial in different resource settings in China显示文摘Objective:We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different triage strategies for high-risk human papillomavirus(hrHPV)-positive women in primary healthcare settings in China.Methods:This study was undertaken in 11 rural and 9 urban sites.Women aged 35-64 years old were enrolled.HrHPV-positive women were randomly allocated to liquid-based cytology(LBC),visual inspection with acetic acid and Lugol’s iodine(VIA/VILI)(rural only)triage,or directly referred to colposcopy(direct COLP).At 24 months,hrHPV testing,LBC and VIA/VILI were conducted for combined screening.Results:In rural sites,1,949 hrHPV-positive women were analyzed.A total of 852,218 and 480 women were randomly assigned to direct COLP,LBC and VIA/VILI.At baseline,colposcopy referral rates of LBC or VIA/VILI triage could be reduced by 70%-80%.LBC(n=3 and n=7)or VIA/VILI(n=8 and n=26)could significantly decrease the number of colposcopies needed to detect one cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)2 or worse and CIN3+compared with direct COLP(n=14 and n=23).For the 24-month cumulative detection rate of CIN2+,VIA/VILI triage was 0.50-fold compared with LBC triage and 0.46-fold with the direct COLP.When stratified by age,baseline LBC triage+performed best(P<0.001),peaking among women aged 35-44 years(Ptrend=0.002).In urban sites,1,728 women were hrHPV genotyping test positive.A total of 408,571 and 568women were randomly assigned to direct COLP for HPV16/18+,direct COLP for other hrHPV subtypes+,and LBC triage for other hrHPV subtypes+.LBC(n=12 and n=31)significantly decreased the number of colposcopies needed to detect one CIN2+and CIN3+compared with direct COLP(n=14 and n=44).HPV16/18+increased the 24-month cumulative detection rate of CIN2+(17.89%,P<0.001).Conclusions:LBC triage for hrHPV-positive women in rural settings and direct COLP for HPV16/18+women and LBC triage for other hrHPV subtype+women in urban settings might be feasible strategies. | Le Dang Linghua Kong Yuqian Zhao Yi Dai Li Ma Lihui Wei Shulan Zhang Jihong Liu Mingrong Xi Long Chen Xianzhi Duan Qing Xiao Guzhalinuer Abulizi Guonan Zhang Ying Hong Qi Zhou Xing Xie Li Li Mayinuer Niyazi Zhifen Zhang Jiyu Tuo Yiling Ding Youlin Qiao Jinghe Lang | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,5: | 2 |

| 3 | Enhancing lignin degradation by Mn^(2+)ion supplementation to assist enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose in a two-stage pretreatment of bamboo显示文摘It is of great significance to reveal a key agent to improve the efficiency of conversion of lignocellulosic biomass to fermentable sugars for the production of bioethanol.This study investigated a two-stage pretreatment of bamboo comprising a microbial treatment using Ceriporiopsis sp.followed by a hydrothermal treatment to facilitate the process with Mn^(2+)as an accelerator.The effects of Mn^(2+)nutritional addition on ligninolytic activity,lignin degradation,total weight loss,pulp yield,sugar yield and sugars in the soluble fraction were examined.The results showed that the time required for the incubations supplemented with Mn^(2+)to achieve sufficient lignin degradation and sugar yield from both the pulp and soluble fractions was significantly shortened,whereas all three ligninolytic activities were significantly decreased.The enzyme activity varied according to the presence of Mn^(2+),although the amount and species of the expressed protein are similar.Considering the cost,microbial treatment with a one-time fed-batch supply of metal nutrition(MnSO4)was the most preferable contribution to hydrothermal pretreatment,resulting in 19.7%lignin degradation,66.7%pulp yield and 26.1%sugar yield over a period of 21 d.It was proven that microbial treatment by solid state incubation with Mn^(2+)nutrition has the potential to be a low-cost,environmentally friendly alternative to chemical approaches. | Liu Jian Gan Lihui Long Minnan | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,3: | 0 |

| 5 | Gaze Estimation via a Differential Eyes’Appearances Network with a Reference Grid显示文摘A person’s eye gaze can effectively express that person’s intentions.Thus,gaze estimation is an important approach in intelligent manufacturing to analyze a person’s intentions.Many gaze estimation methods regress the direction of the gaze by analyzing images of the eyes,also known as eye patches.However,it is very difficult to construct a person-independent model that can estimate an accurate gaze direction for every person due to individual differences.In this paper,we hypothesize that the difference in the appearance of each of a person’s eyes is related to the difference in the corresponding gaze directions.Based on this hypothesis,a differential eyes’appearances network(DEANet)is trained on public datasets to predict the gaze differences of pairwise eye patches belonging to the same individual.Our proposed DEANet is based on a Siamese neural network(SNNet)framework which has two identical branches.A multi-stream architecture is fed into each branch of the SNNet.Both branches of the DEANet that share the same weights extract the features of the patches;then the features are concatenated to obtain the difference of the gaze directions.Once the differential gaze model is trained,a new person’s gaze direction can be estimated when a few calibrated eye patches for that person are provided.Because personspecific calibrated eye patches are involved in the testing stage,the estimation accuracy is improved.Furthermore,the problem of requiring a large amount of data when training a person-specific model is effectively avoided.A reference grid strategy is also proposed in order to select a few references as some of the DEANet’s inputs directly based on the estimation values,further thereby improving the estimation accuracy.Experiments on public datasets show that our proposed approach outperforms the state-of-theart methods. | Song Gu Lihui Wang Long He Xianding He Jian Wang | 2021 | Engineering2021,7,6: | 0 |
| 6 | Study on Accumulation and Dynamic Changes of Three Carbohydrates in Jerusalem Artichoke in Natural Habitats显示文摘Two varieties of Jerusalem artichoke (early maturing variety Qingyu No.1 and middle maturing variety Qingyu No.2),which were bred independently by Research and Development Center of Jerusalem Artichoke,Qinghai Academy of Agriculture and Forestry,were used as materials,and the content and dynamic changes of three kinds of carbohydrates (sucrose,glucose and fructose) in various organs of Jerusalem artichoke in different periods in two natural habitats (water plain and low hill dry land) were studied.The results showed that the content of the three kinds of carbohydrates in Qingyu No.1 and Qingyu No.2 in the water plain and low hill dry land was relatively high in late June and late August.The total content of the three carbohydrates in Qingyu No.1 peaked earlier than that of Qingyu No.2.The total content of the three carbohydrates in the water plain peaked earlier than that of the low hill dry land.In the whole growth period,the total content of the three carbohydrates in the stems and roots of Jerusalem artichoke was higher than that of the leaves.In the leaves,fructose accumulation was relatively obvious in the whole growth period,and the content was high,followed by glucose.In the stems and roots,fructose content was high,followed by sucrose.In the tubers,glucose accumulation was obvious,and sucrose content was lower than glucose and fructose content.When the tubers were harvested,fructose content was high. | Lihui WANG Xuemei SUN Long TAN Yi LI | 2019 | Agricultural Biotechnology2019,8,3: | 0 |

| 8 | Guidelines for cervical cancer screening in China显示文摘In response to the incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer in China and global screening strategies,a collaborative effort was undertaken by seven Chinese medical associations to develop this guideline for cervical cancer screening.The guideline recommends high-risk human papillomavirus(hr-HPV)testing as the preferred method for primary screening,which should have been approved by authoritative institutions and clinically validated for primary screening.In areas without access to HPV testing,cytology can be used as an alternative.However,it is recommended to replace cytology with HPV-based screening as conditions permit.Cotesting(HPV testing in combination with cytology)is recommended for areas with sufficient medical resources,opportunistic screening populations,and partial special populations.The guideline recommends that individuals with a cervix initiate cervical cancer screening at the age 25 years and undergo HPV testing alone or cotesting every five years,or cytology alone every three years.Women over the age of 65 who have had documented adequate negative prior screening in the past may terminate screening.Corresponding screening programs are proposed for different special populations.The development of these guidelines is an important step in the effort to eliminate cervical cancer in China. | Mingzhu Li Lihui Wei Long Sui Ding Ma Beihua Kong Xiaohua Wu Peng Wu Youlin Qiao Fanghui Zhao Linhong Wang | 2023 | Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Medicine2023,3,4: | 0 |
