| 2 | Preserved egg white alleviates DSS-induced colitis in mice through the reduction of oxidative stress,modulation of inflammatory cytokines,NF-κB,MAPK and gut microbiota composition显示文摘Traditional Chinese preserved egg products have exhibited some anti-inflammatory effects,but their mechanisms of action remain unknown.This study aimed to investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of preserved egg white(PEW)treatment on dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colitis in mice and the underlying mechanisms.The results showed that treatment with PEW in mice with DSS-induced colitis for 14 days effectively improved the clinical signs,inhibited the secretion and gene expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,and reduced myeloperoxidase(MPO)activity and oxidative stress levels.In addition,western blotting results showed that PEW significantly suppressed DSS-induced phosphorylation levels of nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)p65 and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)in colon tissues of mice with colitis.PEW also enhanced the production of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)and modulated gut microbiota composition in mice with DSS-induced colitis,including increasing the relative abundance of beneficial bacteria Lachnospiraceae,Ruminococcaceae and Muribaculaceae,and reducing the relative abundance of harmful bacteria Proteobacteria.Taken together,our study demonstrated that preserved egg white could alleviate DSS-induced colitis in mice through the reduction of oxidative stress,modulation of inflammatory cytokines,NF-κB,MAPK and gut microbiota composition. | Lingyu Li Ning Qiu Yaqi Meng Chenyan Wang Yoshinori Mine Russell Keast Vincent Guyonnet | 2023 | Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,1: | 2 |
| 3 | Dynamic nucleosome organization after fertilization reveals regulatory factors for mouse zygotic genome activation显示文摘Chromatin remodeling is essential for epigenome reprogramming after frilization.However,the underlying mechanisms of chromatin remodeling remain to be explored.Here,we investigated the dynamic changes in nucleosome occupancy and positioning in pronucleus-stage zygotes using ultra low-input MNase seq.We observed distinct features of inheritance and reconstruction of nucleosome positioning in both paternal and maternal genomes.Genome wide de novo nucleosome occupancy in the paternal genome was observed as early as 1 h after the injection of sperm into ooplasm.The nucleosome positioning pattern was continually rebuilt to form nucleosome-depleted regions(NDRs)at promoters and transcription factor(TF)binding sites with differential dynamics in paternal and maternal genomes.NDRs formed more quickly on the promoters of genes involved in zygotic genome activation(ZGA),and this formation is closely linked to histone acetylation,but not transcription elongation or DNA replication.Importantly,we found that NDR establishment on the binding motifs of specific TFs might be associated with their potential pioneer functions in ZGA.Further investigations suggested that the predicted factors MLX and RFX1 played important roles in regulating minor and major ZGA,respectively.Our data not only elucidate the nucleosome positioning dynamics in both male and female pronuclei fllowing frtiliatin,but also provide an eficient method for identifying key transcription regulators during development. | Chenfei Wang Chuan Chen Xiaoyu Liu Chong Li Qiu Wu Xiaolan Chen Lingyue Yang Xiaochen Kou Yanhong Zhao Hong Wang Yawei Gao Yong Zhang Shaorong Gao | 2022 | Cell Research2022,32,9: | 1 |
| 4 | HDAC6 inhibitor loaded bimetallene nanosheets with antagonizing thermoresistance for augmented mild photothermal therapy显示文摘Photothermal therapy(PTT)induces thermoresistance through cellular heat shock response,which impairs the therapeutic efficacy of the PTT.To resolve this problem,we developed a photothermal theranostics(denoted as PMH),which integrated the photothermal conversion agent of PdMo bimetallene with histone deacetylase 6(HDAC6)selected inhibitor(ACY-1215),showing the synergistic antitumor effect both in vitro and in vivo.Mechanistically,under the photoacoustic imaging(PA)navigation,the released ACY-1215 triggered by NIR laser irradiation decrease the heat shock proteins(HSPs)expression and weaken the HDAC6-regulated HSP90 deacetylation,thus hindering the degradation of PTT-induced misfolded or unfold proteins through proteasome dependent pathway.Moreover,mild photothermal therapy(mPTT)treatment compromised the autophagy,which induced by HDAC6 inhibition,leading to mPTTinduced misfolded or unfold proteins further accumulation.Given that inhibition of HDAC6 plus m PTT contribute to tumor eradication.This study develops a promising combination strategy based on m PTT for future cancer treatment. | Lingyu Qiu Shan Lei Jing Zhang Ruhan Yan Wansi Chen Jing Lin Wei-Guo Zhu Peng Huang | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,9: | 0 |
| 5 | Alternatingly stacked thin film electrodes-based compact aqueous hybrid electrochemical capacitors for hundred-volts AC line filtering显示文摘Filtering capacitor with compact configuration and a wide range of operating voltage has been attracting increasing attention for the smooth conversion of the electric signal in modern circuits.Lossless integration of capacitor units can be regarded as one of the efficient ways to achieve a wider voltage range,which has not yet been fully conquered due to the lack of rational designs of the electrode structure and integration technology.This study presents an alternatingly stacked assemble technology to conveniently fabricate compact aqueous hybrid integrated filtering capacitors on a large scale,in which a unit consists of rGO/MXene composite film as a negative electrode and PEDOT:PSS based film as a positive electrode.Benefiting from the synergistic effect of rGO and MXene components,and morphological characteristics of PEDOT:PSS,the capacitor unit exhibits outstanding AC line filtering with a large areal specific energy density of 1,015 μF V^(2)cm^(-2)(0.28 μW h cm^(-2)) at 120 Hz.After rational integration,the assembled capacitors present compact/lightweight configuration and lossless frequency response,as reflected by almost constant resistor-capacitor time constant of 0.2 ms and dissipation factor of 15% at120 Hz,identical to those of the single capacitor unit.Apart from standing alone steadily on a flower,a small volume(only 8.1 cm^(3)) of the integrated capacitor with 70 units connected in series achieves hundred-volts alternating current line filtering,which is superior to most reported filtering capacitors with sandwich configuration.This study provides insight into the fabrication and application of compact/ultralight filtering capacitors with lossless frequency response,and a wide range of operating voltage. | Lixia Wang Lingyu Zhao Meirong Song Lixia Xie Xiaopeng Wang Xin Li Yanjie Huang Min Wei Qiu Jin Xianglong Meng Yang Zhao | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3: | 0 |
