| 1 | ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar age evidence for Altyn fault tectonic activities in western China显示文摘Four 40Ar/39Ar age groups of mica, hornblende and K-feldspar were obtained from Proterozoic and early Paleozoic metamorphic rocks in the Aksay-Dangjin Pass area, western China. The samples away from the middle shear zone of the Altyn fault belt yield two plateau age groups in the range of 461—445.2 Ma and 414.9—342.8 Ma, respec-tively. They represent the tectono-thermal events that had been recorded in the rocks that were displaced by the Altyn strike-slip fault in late Ordovician-early Silurian and Devo-nian, respectively. These two age groups should be related to the closures of Northern and Southern Qilian Oceans. The deformed granitic gneiss from the northern belt gives a pla-teau age group of 178.4—137.5 Ma, which is interpreted as the active age of the Altyn fault in the middle-late Jurassic- early Cretaceous and should be related to the accretion of Lhasa block to the north. The sample from the middle shear zone of the Altyn fault belt yields two plateau ages of 36.4 and 26.3 Ma, respectively, suggesting the strike-slip move-ment with strong metamorphism at greenschist facies along the Altyn fault in the late Eocene. This event occurred in the most areas of the northern Tibet Plateau and should be in response in the north to the collision between Indian and Eurasian continents. The present study demonstrates that the Altyn fault is characterized by multiple pulse-style activi-ties under the tectonic setting of convergence between the Indian and Eurasian continents. | LIU Yongjiang1, J. | 2 | Laser probe ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar dating of mica on the deformed rocks from Altyn Fault and its tectonic implications,western China显示文摘The samples of Caledonian mylonitized granite and Jurassic meta-sedimentary rocks were collected in the north of Dangjinshan Pass, Qaidam gate fault-valley and Gesi fault-valley. Detailed studies under the microscope and electronic microscope suggest that all the samples contain the syntectonic-growing minerals such as white mica, chlorite, sericite, biotite, etc. By dating these minerals, we got a group of 40Ar/39Ar laser probe isochronal ages of 89-92 Ma and apparent ages of (46.6±6.4) Ma. The ages ranging from 97 to 46 Ma were reported for the first time in the isotopic dating researches of the Altyn Fault The isochronal age group of (98-89) Ma indicates that a ductile strike-slip event, with low-grade metamorphism, began in late Cretaceous. | 6 | Blueschist from the Toudaoqiao Area, Inner Mongolia, NE China: Evidence for the Suture between the Ergun and the Xing'an Blocks显示文摘Blueschist accompanied by pelitic schist expose along the Xinlin-Xiguitu fault in the Toudaoqiao area, northeastern China. In this paper, the blueschist is systematically studied on the petrography and mineral chemistry. The amphiboles in the blueschist are zoned from winchite core to magnesioriebeckite/glaucophane rim to winchite outermost rim. The peak metamorphic conditions are defined by the mineral assemblage of magnesioriebeckite/glaucophane, epidote, high-Si phengite(Si<7.1), chlorite, albite, hematite and quartz, indicating an epidote-blueschist facies metamorphism. The P-T conditions are estimated as T=350–400 ℃ and P=10-12 kbar. | 7 | The enhanced corrosion resistance of UMAO coatings on Mg by silane treatment显示文摘The surface silanization was carried out on ultrasonic micro-arc oxidation(UMAO) coatings on pure magnesium using KH550 as silane coupling agent(SCA). The surface morphology, chemical bonds and corrosion resistance of the silane films were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and electrochemical workstation, respectively. The results showed that hybrid coatings were successfully prepared on pure magnesium by UMAO-Na OH(1 mol/L, 2 mol/L, 3 mol/L)-SCA processing. The organic films with Si–O–Mg bonds are helpful for the reduction of the pores in UMAO coatings. The pores decreased with increasing Na OH concentration. Compared with single UMAO treatment, the corrosion potentials(Ecorr) of magnesium plates with UMAO-Na OH(1 mol/L,2 mol/L, 3 mol/L)-SCA treatment increased by 29 m V, 53 m V and 75 m V, respectively, meanwhile the corrosion current density(Icorr) reduced one to two orders of magnitude. | 8 | Microbiota characteristics in Sebastes schlegelii intestine in early life stages显示文摘The structure of intestinal microbiota of black rockfish Sebastes schlegelii in five early development stages were determined in high throughput sequencing with Illumina MiSeq PE300 system.The relationship between intestinal microbial community and the environmental(including culture water and feed)microbiota and the abundance variation trends of core microbiota were investigated,based on which the source of some core microbiota was analyzed in this study.The results show that Proteobacteria and Firmicutes are the most dominant phyla in guts.At the genus level,there are obvious differences between the artificial breeding fish and wild adults in the intestinal microflora structure.The compositions of dominant genera are similar,although the structure of intestinal microbiota gradually changes with the growth of larvae and juveniles.The core microbiota including Bacillus,Acinetobacter,Pseudomonas,Lactobacillus,Lactococcus,Glaciecola,Vibrio,Pseudoalteromonas,Acidovorax,and Aliivibrio were determined in the analysis of dominant and shared species.Compared with the water,the effect of feed microbiota on the structure of the gut microbial community is more obvious.Moreover,the trends of Bacillus,Acinetobacter,Pseudomonas,Lactobacillus,Lactococcus,and Glaciecola were opposite to Vibrio and Pseudoalteromonas in the gut.The correlation analysis suggested that Acidovorax,Glaciecola,Pseudomonas,Lactobacillus,and Acinetobacter might transited from mainly the parents and/or came from the fertilization process.The relative results may provide a theoretical reference for selecting the native probiotics,and supply the basic data for artificially regulating the intestinal microbiota with probiotic during early developmental stage of black rockfish. | JIANG Yan LIU Xuezhou XU Yongjiang SHI Bao WANG Bin | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,1: | 3 |
| 9 | Zn-Rich Spinel in Association with Quartz in the Al-Rich Metapelites from the Mashan Khondalite Series, NE China显示文摘Al-rich metapelites from the Mashan khondalite series are characterized by the assemblage Spl+Grt+Sil+Crd+Bt+Pl(An72)+Kfs+Quartz+graphite. Large amounts of spinel+quartz assemblages occur as inclusions in garnet and prismatic sillimanite in the Al-rich metapelites of the Mashan complex, NE China. The chemical composition of spinel is characterized by Zn-rich(XZn=0.33–0.40. XZn=Zn/Zn+Mg+Fe*)(Fe*=Fe2++Fe3+) and Fe3+ rich(up to 0.31 p.f.u.). The characteristic chemical composition and the mineral association indicated that the formation of spinel and quartz assemblage may be due to the breakdown of Zn-rich staurolite. The geothermobarometers studies show that the peak temperature of the Mashan complex is around 820 ℃ and the peak pressures is 8.0 kbar. | 11 | Convergence History of the Songliao and Jiamusi Blocks in the Eastern End of Central Asian Orogenic Belt: Evidence from Detrital Zircons of Late Paleozoic Sedimentary Rocks显示文摘Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB) is one of the largest accretionary orogenic belts in the world. The eastern segment of CAOB is dominated by Paleozoic Paleo Asian Ocean tectonic regime, Mesozoic Paleo-Pacific tectonic regime and Mongolian-Okhotsk tectonic regime. The Songliao and Jiamusi blocks are located in the easternmost part of the CAOB and are the key region to solve the problem about overprinting processes of multiple tectonic regimes. It is generally believed that the Mudanjiang Ocean between the two blocks was finally closed in the Mesozoic, but the Paleozoic magmatism also developed along the Mudanjiang suture zone, while on both sides of the suture zone, there were comparable Paleozoic strata, indicating that the two blocks had converged during the Paleozoic, and the evolution history of the two blocks in the Late Paleozoic remains controversial. The Carboniferous-Permian terrestrial strata mainly developed in Binxian, Wuchang and Tieli on Songliao Block, Baoqing and Mishan on Jiamusi Block. Samples from the Songliao and Jiamusi blocks in the Late Carboniferous-Early Permian and Late Permian are collected for comparative analysis. The LAICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating results show that the maximum depositional age of Middle Permian Tumenling Formation and Late Permian Hongshan Formation in Songliao Block is ~260 Ma, while that of Tatouhe Formation and Carboniferous strata in Jiamusi Block are ~290 Ma and ~300 Ma, respectively, which supports the previous stratigraphic division scheme. The age peaks of ~290-300 Ma, ~400 Ma, ~500 Ma appeared in the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian strata of Jiamusi Block and the Middle Permian strata of Songliao Block. The age peak of ~500 Ma in the Middle Permian strata of Songliao Block may come from the Cambrian basement, Mashan Complex, of Jiamusi Block, while the age peaks of ~420-440 Ma in the Carboniferous strata of Jiamusi Block may come from the Silurian magmatic arc in Zhangguangcai Range in the eastern margin of Songliao Block, reflects the history that they had been potential sources of each other, indicating that they may have combined in the Paleozoic. The Hongshan Formation of Songliao Block in the Late Permian lacks the age peak of ~500 Ma, which indicate that Jiamusi Block was not the provenance of Songliao Block in the Late Permian, that is, there was a palaeogeographic isolation between the two blocks. | 12 | Final Closure Time of the Paleo-Asian Ocean: Implication from the Provenance Transformation from the Yangjiagou Formation to Lujiatun Formation in the Jiutai Area, NE China显示文摘The Jiutai area is tectonically situated at the eastern segment of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB) and is close to the North China Craton(NCC) to the south, serving as an ideal place to investigations of the closure of the PaleoAsian Ocean(PAO). Sandstone samples collected from the Yangjiagou Formation and the Lujiatun Formation in this area have been studied in detail in terms of petrology, geochronology and geochemistry. The maximum depositional time of the Yangjiagou and Lujiatun formations has been constrained to early Middle Triassic(ca. 245 Ma) and middle Late Triassic(ca. 219 Ma), respectively. The Yangjiagou Formation, with a major provenance of dissected island arcs, is dominantly composed of Phanerozoic sediments from Northeastern China(NE China) massifs. The Lujiatun Formation, with major sediments from active continental margins, has a relatively larger proportion of Precambrian sediments, in which the ~1.85 Ga and ~2.5 Ga sediments are typical of the crystalline basements of the NCC and NE China massifs, which were uplifted and eroded during the closure of the PAO. Besides, both formations show the enrichment in LREEs and the depletion in HREEs, the common Eu negative anomalies, and trace element contents similar to that of the upper continental crust. | 14 | The analysis of genetic diversity and differentiation of six Chinese cattle populations using microsatellite markers显示文摘A total of 321 individuals from six cattle populations of four species in a bovine subfamily in China were studied using 12 pairs of mi- crosatellite markers. The genetic diversities within and between populations were calculated. The phylogenetic trees were constructed by (δμ) 2 and DA distances, and the divergence times between populations were estimated by (δμ) 2. Altogether, 144 microsatellite alleles were detected including 24 private alleles and nine shared alleles. Chinese Holstein had the largest number of private alleles (10), whereas, Bohai black and Buffalo had the smallest number of private alleles (2). Chinese Holstein showed the highest genetic variability. Its ob- served number of alleles (Na), mean effective number of alleles (MNA), and mean heterozygosity (He) were 7.7500, 4.9722, and 0.7719, respectively, whereas, the Buffalo and Yak showed low genetic variability. In the phylogenetic trees, Luxi and Holstein grouped first, followed by Bohai and Minnan. Yak branched next and buffalo emerged as the most divergent population from other cattle populations. Luxi and Bohai were estimated to have diverged 0.039-0.105 million years ago (MYA), however, buffalo and Holstein diverged 0.501-1.337 MYA. | 15 | An Early Stage Faulting Along the Altun Mountain Range——Microstructural Evidences显示文摘Structural, microstructural analysis is done on the Altun fault zo ne and fault rocks. The major characteristics of faulting are summarized. Micros tructural observation reveals a complicated evolution of the fault zone. Much at tention is paid to the microstructural observation and dynamic analysis of fault ing. The occurrence of phengite grains suggest abnormally high pressure conditio ns during ductile deformation and metamorphism, while the occurrence of muscovit e-chlorite mineral assemblage suggest a low temperature and low pressure condit i on. Micro-component analysis on the inter-grown muscovite and chlorite grains gives similar information. It is concluded that the first deformation along the Altun fault zone is a type of ductile shearing, forming mylonites and mylonitic rocks along the fault zone. | 17 | Abrupt uplift of Tibetan Plateau at the end of early Pleistocene and Australasian impact event显示文摘The latest sharp uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and adjacent mountains occurred at the end of the early Pleistocene. The uplift of the Plateau resulted from Late Mesozoic--Cenozoic compressional structure due to the subduction of the Indian Plate beneath the Asian continent. This event definitively effected the formation of basin-mountain relief, Cenozoic basin deformation, large scale aridity and desertification of western China. The Australasian meteorites impact event happened ca. 0.8 Ma ago, located in the triangle area of the Indian Ocean ridge (20°S/67°E). The impact may have resulted in an acceleration of speeding of the Indian Ocean ridge pushing the Indian Plate to subduct rapidly northward.
