| 1 | Introducing antisense waxy gene into rice seeds reduces grain amylose contents using a safe transgenic technique显示文摘An agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated co-tr- ansformation method was established and successfully used to transfer an antisense waxy gene into rice. The binary vec- tor p13W4 contains an antisense waxy gene, a hygromycin resistance gene (hpt) and a report gene (gus). The other bi- nary vector p13W8 contains only an antisense waxy gene in the T-DNA region. Two separate strains of A. tumefaciens, containing p13W4 and p13W8 mixed at a ratio of 1︰9, were used to transform a high-yield rice strain Chao 2-10. A total of 34 transgenic plants were obtained. PCR analysis showed that 15 of them were co-transformed. After GUS staining, the T1seeds with GUS positive were eliminated. The GUS nega- tive T1 seeds were germinated, and the seedlings were ana- lyzed for the existence of antisense waxy gene. The transgenic T1 plants with only antisense waxy gene further were con- firmed through Southern blot analysis. The T2 seeds collected from marker-free T1 plants were used for amylose content analysis. The results showed that the amylose content in marker-free transgenic seeds reduced by up to 28.61% over the wild type rice. | 2 | Fusing moving average model and stationary wavelet decomposition for automatic incident detection:case study of Tokyo Expressway显示文摘Traffic congestion is a growing problem in urban areas all over the world.The transport sector has been in full swing event study on intelligent transportation system for automatic detection.The functionality of automatic incident detection on expressways is a primary objective of advanced traffic management system.In order to save lives and prevent secondary incidents,accurate and prompt incident detection is necessary.This paper presents a methodology that integrates moving average(MA)model with stationary wavelet decomposition for automatic incident detection,in which parameters of layer coefficient are extracted from the difference between the upstream and downstream occupancy.Unlike other wavelet-based method presented before,firsdy it smooths the raw data with MA model.Then it uses stationary wavelet to decompose,which can achieve accurate reconstruction of the signal,and does not shift the signal transfer coefficients.Thus,it can detect the incidents more accurately.The threshold to trigger incident alarm is also adjusted according to normal traffic condition with congestion.The methodology is validated with real data from Tokyo Expressway ultrasonic sensors.Experimental results show that it is accurate and effective,and that it can differentiate traffic accident from other condition such as recurring traffic congestion. | Qinghua Liu Edward Chung Liujia Zhai | 2014 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2014,1,6: | 2 |

| 18 | High-performance flexible organic field effect transistors with print-based nanowires显示文摘Polymer nanowire(NW)organic field-effect transistors(OFETs)integrated on highly aligned large-area flexible substrates are candidate structures for the development of high-performance flexible electronics.This work presents a universal technique,coaxial focused electrohydrodynamic jet(CFEJ)printing technology,to fabricate highly aligned 90-nm-diameter polymer arrays.This method allows for the preparation of uniformly shaped and precisely positioned nanowires directly on flexible substrates without transfer,thus ensuring their electrical properties.Using indacenodithiophene-co-benzothiadiazole(IDT-BT)and poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-benzothiadiazole)(F8-BT)as example materials,5 cm^(2) arrays were prepared with only minute size variations,which is extremely difficult to do using previously reported methods.According to 2D-GIXRD analysis,the molecules inside the nanowires mainly adopted face-onπ-stacking crystallite arrangements.This is quite different from the mixed arrangement of thin films.Nanowire-based OFETs exhibited a high average hole mobility of 1.1 cm^(2) V^(−1) s^(−1) and good device uniformity,indicating the applicability of CFEJ printing as a potential batch manufacturing and integration process for high-performance,scalable polymer nanowire-based OFET circuits.This technique can be used to fabricate various polymer arrays,enabling the use of organic polymer semiconductors in large-area,high-performance electronic devices and providing a new path for the fabrication of flexible displays and wearable electronics in the future. | Liangkun Lu Dazhi Wang Changchang Pu Yanyan Cao Yikang Li Pengfei Xu Xiangji Chen Chang Liu Shiwen Liang Liujia Suo Yan Cui Zhiyuan Zhao Yunlong Guo Junsheng Liang Yunqi Liu | 2023 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2023,9,3: | 0 |
