| 1 | 超高强微钢纤维增韧混凝土的制备及其力学性能研究显示文摘高脆性是超高强混凝土难以被广泛应用的主要原因之一。为降低脆性,利用长度为6mm与13mm的三种微钢纤维,制备超高强微钢纤维混凝土,研究不同纤维长径比及掺量条件下混凝土的力学性能指标,其中包括ASTMC1018方法测试超高强微纤维混凝土的抗弯韧性。试验结果显示:随纤维掺量的增加,超高强混凝土能量吸收能力增加明显;与不掺纤维时相比,1.0%体积掺量下三种纤维混凝土的初始裂缝强度、抗折强度和韧性指数均有显著提高,掺量2.0%时初始裂缝强度、抗折强度和韧性指数的增加受到影响;长度为6mm的纤维在2.0%掺量时抗压强度相对较大,而长度为13mm的两种纤维在掺量1.0%时抗压强度较高;掺入3种纤维的混凝土劈拉强度和弹性模量也由于纤维的掺入而有所增加。结果表明,微钢纤维用于增韧超高强混凝土时,宜采用适宜掺量。 | 王冲 Liza O'Moore | 2009 | 土木工程学报2009，42，6： | 17 |
| 2 | Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis显示文摘Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis(PCI) is a rare condition that may be associated with a variety of diseases.The presenting clinical picture may be very heterogeneous and represent a challenge for the clinician.In the present paper we describe both a common and an uncommon clinical presentation of PCI and review the pertaining literature.Our cases confirm that,apart from asymptomatic cases,the clinical presentation of PCI may be widely different and suggest that a new onset of stipsis might be the presenting symptom.Diagnosis might be suggested by a simple X-ray of the digestive tract showing a change in the characteristics of the intestinal wall in two-thirds of these patients.However,one third of the patients do not have a suggestive X-ray and require a computed tomography(CT) scan/nuclear magnetic resonance that may reveal a thickened bowel wall containing gas to confirm the diagnosis and distinguish PCI from intraluminal air or submucosal fat.CT also allows the detection of additional findings that may suggest an underlying,potentially worrisome cause of PCI such as bowel wall thickening,altered contrast mucosal enhancement,dilated bowel,soft tissue stranding,ascites and the presence of portal air.Our results also point out that clinicians and endoscopists should be aware of the possible presentations of PCI in order to correctly manage the patients affected with this disease and avoid unnecessary surgeries.The increasing number of colonoscopies performed for colon cancer screening makes PCI more frequently casually encountered and/or provoked,therefore the possible endoscopic appearances of this disease should be well known by endoscopists. | Francesco Azzaroli Laura Turco Liza Ceroni Stefania Sartoni Galloni Federica Buonfiglioli Claudio Calvanese Giuseppe Mazzella | 2011 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2011，17，44： | 16 |
| 3 | Shortness of breath in clinical practice: A case for left atrial function and exercise stress testing for a comprehensive diastolic heart failure workup显示文摘The symptom cluster of shortness of breath(SOB) contributes significantly to the outpatient workload of cardiology services. The workup of these patients includes blood chemistry and biomarkers, imaging and functional testing of the heart and lungs. A diagnosis of diastolic heart failure is inferred through the exclusion of systolic abnormalities, a normal pulmonary function test and normal hemoglobin, coupled with diastolic abnormalities on echocardiography. Differentiating confounders such as obesity or deconditioning in a patient with diastolic abnormalities is difficult. While the most recent guidelines provide more avenues for diagnosis, such as incorporating the left atrial size, little emphasis is given to understanding left atrial function, which contributes to at least 25% of diastolic left ventricular filling; additionally, exercise stress testing to elicit symptoms and test the dynamics of diastolic parameters, especially when access to the 'gold standard' invasive tests is lacking, presents clinical translational gaps. | 6 | Is autophagy an elective strategy to protect neurons from dysregulated cholesterol metabolism?显示文摘The balance of autophagy, apoptosis and necroptosis is crucial to determine the outcome of the cellular response to cholesterol dysregulation. Cholesterol plays a major role in regulating the properties of cell membranes, especially as regards their fluidity, and the regulation of its biosynthesis influences the shape and functions of these membranes. Whilst dietary cholesterol can easily be distributed to most organs, the central nervous system, whose membranes are particularly rich in cholesterol, mainly relies on de novo synthesis. For this reason, defects in the biosynthesis of cholesterol can variably affect the development of central nervous system. Moreover, defective synthesis of cholesterol and its intermediates may reflect both on structural cell anomalies and on the response to inflammatory stimuli. Examples of such disorders include mevalonate kinase deficiency, and Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome, due to deficiency in biosynthetic enzymes, and type C Niemann-Pick syndrome, due to altered cholesterol trafficking across cell compartments. Autophagy, as a crucial pathway dedicated to the degradation of cytosolic proteins and organelles, plays an essential role in the maintenance of homeostasis and in the turnover of the cytoplasmic material especially in the presence of imbalances such as those resulting from alteration of cholesterol metabolism. | 9 | Effects of transdermal magnesium chloride on quality of life for patients with fibromyalgia: a feasibility study显示文摘BACKGROUND: Fibromyalgia is a syndrome characterized by chronic pain, fatigue, depression, and sleep disturbances. Its primary cause is unclear. Several studies have reported decreased intracellular magnesium levels in patients with fibromyalgia and have found negative correlation between magnesium levels and fibromyalgia symptoms.OBJECTIVE: To gather preliminary data on whether transdermal magnesium can improve quality of life for women who have fibromyalgia.DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTIONS: This is a patient questionnaires and survey in a fibromyalgia clinic at a tertiary medical center. Forty female patients with the diagnosis of fibromyalgia were enrolled. Each participant was provided a spray bottle containing a transdermal magnesium chloride solution and asked to apply 4 sprays per limb twice daily for 4 weeks. Participants were asked to complete the Revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire, SF-36v2 Health Survey, and a quality-of-life analog scale at baseline, week 2, and week 4.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE: Questionnaire and survey scores, evaluated through intent-to-treat and per-protocol analyses.RESULTS: Twenty-four patients completed the study(mean [SD] age, 57.2 [7.6] years; white, 95%; mean body mass index, 31.3 kg/m2). With intention-to-treat analysis, Revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire subscale and total scores were significantly improved at week 2 and week 4(total score, P = 0.001). Per-protocol analysis results were similar: all subscales of the Revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire were significantly improved at week 2 and week 4(total score, P = 0.001).
