1The genome of Medicago polymorpha provides insights into its edibility and nutritional value as a vegetable and forage legume显示文摘Medicago polymorpha is a nutritious and palatable forage and vegetable plant that also fixes nitrogen.Here,we reveal the chromosome-scale genome sequence of M.polymorpha using an integrated approach including Illumina,PacBio and Hi-C technologies.We combined PacBio full-length RNA-seq,metabolomic analysis,structural anatomy analysis and related physiological indexes to elucidate the important agronomic traits of M.polymorpha for forage and vegetable usage.The assembled M.polymorpha genome consisted of 457.53Mb with a long scaffold N50 of 57.72Mb,and 92.92%(441.83Mb)of the assembly was assigned to seven pseudochromosomes.Comparative genomic analysis revealed that expansion and contraction of the photosynthesis and lignin biosynthetic gene families,respectively,led to enhancement of nutritious compounds and reduced lignin biosynthesis in M.polymorpha.In addition,we found that several positively selected nitrogen metabolism-related genes were responsible for crude protein biosynthesis.Notably,the metabolomic results revealed that a large number of flavonoids,vitamins,alkaloids,and terpenoids were enriched in M.polymorpha.These results imply that the decreased lignin content but relatively high nutrient content of M.polymorpha enhance its edibility and nutritional value as a forage and vegetable.Our genomic data provide a genetic basis that will accelerate functional genomic and breeding research on M.polymorpha as well as other Medicago and legume plants.Jiawen Cui Zhaogeng Lu Tianyi Wang Gang Chen Salma Mostafa Hailong Ren Sian Liu Chunxiang Fu Li Wang Yingfang Zhu Jinkai Lu Xiang Chen Zhenwu Wei Biao Jin 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:6

16Effects of ultrasonic impregnation combined with calcination in N_2 atmosphere on the property of Co_3O_4/CeO_2 composites for catalytic methane combustion显示文摘Co_3O_4/CeO_2 composites with high surface areas and ultrafine crystalline sizes for catalytic combustion of methane were firstly prepared by a new sol-gel method which combined ultrasonic impregnation treatment and calcination in N_2 atmosphere. The samples were characterized by various means such as nitrogen adsorption/desorption, X-ray diffraction(XRD), H_2 temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Results showed that the modified catalyst had the mesoporous structure, comparatively higher amount of surface oxygen and larger oxygen vacancies than others. As a result of the structure and surface composition merits, a high methane combustion conversion(50%) could be obtained at a low temperature of 262 °C for the modified Co_3O_4/CeO_2 composites catalysts. 17MBE growth of high absorption mid-IR type-II InAs/GaSb superlattices显示文摘Two kinds of short-period type II superlattices(SLs)InAs(6 monolayers(MLs))/GaSb(3 MLs)and InAs(8 MLs)/GaSb(8 MLs)which can serve for mid-infrared(MIR)detection have been grown by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE)on p-type GaSb(100)substrates.The cutoff wavelength for the two superlattices(SLs)was found to be around 4.8 lm at 300 K.The high resolution X-ray diffraction(HRXRD)measurements indicated that the InAs(8 MLs)/GaSb(8 MLs)SLs have better crystalline quality than that of the InAs(6 MLs)/GaSb(3 MLs)SLs.However,compared with infrared absorption in the 2.5–4.3 lm range,the optical absorption of InAs(6 MLs)/GaSb(3MLs)SLs was more excellent.This can be attributed to increase probability of the electron and hole wave function overlap in the thinner period thickness.Geng Wang Lu Wang Hong Chen Wenxin Wang Zhenwu Shi Yulong Chen Miao He Pingyuan Lu Weining Qian 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,20:0
18Study of an athermal infrared dual band optical system design containing harmonic diffractive element显示文摘A harmonic diffractive element (HDE) is first successfully introduced to the athermal system of infrared dual band in this paper. In this system, there are only three lens and two materials, silicon and germanium. When the temperature ranges from 70℃ to 100℃ in the dual band, it can simultaneously accomplish the rectification of the longitudinal aberration in the big field of view, as well as the wave front aberration less than 1/4 wavelength. Modulation transfer function of dual band approaches or attains the diffraction limit. The calculation results show that the spec-tral properties of the HDE are between refractive and dif-fractive elements, so we can design a simple dual-band and athermal optical system by selecting the thickness and cen-tral wavelength of the HDE exactly. Compared with a con-ventional refractive optical system, this system not only re-duces the demand for high technical levels, but also has a compact structure, few elements, a high transmittance better aberrations performances and athermal character. 19DESIGN OF mm-WAVE PHASE-CORRECTING FRESNEL ZONE PLATE REFLECTOR ANTENNA WITH CONTINUOUS STRUCTURE显示文摘Based on scalar diffraction optics theory, a new type of mm-wave antenna(diffraction antenna) phase-correcting Fresnel zone plate with continuous structure is described in this paper. It has the advantages of thinner thickness, lighter weight and design flexibility. The design theory and space shadow are discussed in details, and the measured results are presented.
