1A Spatially Weighted Degree Model for Network Vulnerability Analysis显示文摘Using degree distribution to assess network vulnerability represents a promising direction of network analysis.However,the traditional degree distribution model is inadequate for analyzing the vulnerability of spatial networks because it does not take into consideration the geographical aspects of spatial networks.This paper proposes a spatially weighted degree model in which both the functional class and the length of network links are considered to be important factors for determining the node degrees of spatial networks.A weight coefficient is used in this new model to account for the contribution of each factor to the node degree.The proposed model is compared with the traditional degree model and an accessibility-based vulnerability model in the vulnerabil-ity analysis of a highway network.Experiment results indicate that,although node degrees of spatial networks derived from the tra-ditional degree model follow a random distribution,node degrees determined by the spatially weighted model exhibit a scale-free distribution,which is a common characteristic of robust networks.Compared to the accessibility-based model,the proposed model has similar performance in identifying critical nodes but with higher computational efficiency and better ability to reveal the overall vulnerability of a spatial network.WAN Neng1,ZHAN F.Benjamin1,2,CAI Zhongliang2 1.School Texas Center for Geographic Information Science,Department of Geography,Texas State University,San Marcos,TX 78666,USA 2.School of Resource and Environmental Science,Wuhan University,129 Luoyu Road,Wuhan 430079,China 2011Geo-Spatial Information Science2011,14,4:9
2Long Distance Transference of Height Datum Across Seas显示文摘This paper focuses on studying long distance transference of height datum across seas by combining ellipsoidal height derived from GPS with gravimetric geoid height.The Yellow Sea Height Datum is transferred to Yangshan Island which is 30 km away from Luchaogang in Shanghai.The stations heights derived in this way are compared with those determined from two independent sets of the tidal observations taken in two years,and the difference values are 1.0 cm and 6.0 cm,respectively.Moreover,the derived height differences between two sections on the island are also compared with the values derived from precise leveling with respect to the same section.The result shows that the inconsistencies are only 0.2 cm and 0.7 cm,respectively.LI Jiancheng JIANG Weiping professor,School of Geodesy and Geomatics,Wuhan University,129 Luoyu Road,Wuhan 430079,China. 2002Geo-Spatial Information Science2002,5,3:2

7Entropy Error Model of Planar Geometry Features in GIS显示文摘Positional error of line segments is usually described by using 'g-band', however, its band width is in relation to the confidence level choice. In fact, given different confidence levels, a series of concentric bands can be obtained. To overcome the effect of confidence level on the error indicator, by introducing the union entropy theory, we propose an entropy error ellipse index of point, then extend it to line segment and polygon, and establish an entropy error band of line segment and an entropy error donut of polygon. 8Investigation of Image Fusion Between High-Resolution Image and Multi-spectral Image显示文摘On the basis of a thorough understanding of the physical characteristics of remote sensing image, this paper employs the theories of wavelet transform and signal sampling to develop a new image fusion algorithm. The algorithm has been successfully applied to the image fusion of SPOT PAN and TM of Guangdong province, China. The experimental results show that a perfect image fusion can be built up by using the image analytical solution and re-construction in the image frequency domain based on the physical characteristics of the image formation. 12FLOOD SIMULATION IN THE COASTAL LOWLANDS OF NORTHERN JIANGSU,CHINA显示文摘The coastal lowlands in northern Jiangsu Province, China, is characterized by low relief and low water surface gradient in streams. The flooding stages are commonly lower than the high-tide level and the tidal range is relatively small. All these factors prohibit rapid discharge of floodwater and make the flood regimes here extremely sensitive to the sea level rise. The 1991 Plum Rain was examined, when precipitation was significantly higher than normal. The one-dimensional open-channel non-conservative flow model was used to simulate the stream flow in the channel network of studied area. 13Acoustic emissions evaluation of the dynamic splitting tensile properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete under freeze-thaw cycling显示文摘This study empirically investigated the influence of freeze-thaw cycling on the dynamic splitting tensile properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC).Brazilian disc splitting tests were conducted using four loading rates(0.002,0.02,0.2,and 2 mm/s)on specimens with four steel fiber contents(0%,0.6%,1.2%,and 1.8%)subjected to 0 and 50 freeze-thaw cycles.The dynamic splitting tensile damage characteristics were evaluated using acoustic emission(AE)parameter analysis and Fourier transform spectral analysis.The results quantified using the freeze-thaw damage factor defined in this paper indicate that the degree of damage to SFRC caused by freeze-thaw cycling was aggravated with increasing loading rate but mitigated by increasing fiber content.The percentage of low-frequency AE signals produced by the SFRC specimens during loading decreased with increasing loading rate,whereas that of high-frequency AE signals increased.Freeze-thaw action had little effect on the crack types observed during the early and middle stages of the loading process;however,the primary crack type observed during the later stage of loading changed from shear to tensile after the SFRC specimens were subjected to freeze-thaw cycling.Notably,the results of this study indicate that the freeze-thaw damage to SFRC reduces AE signal activity at low frequencies.Hua ZHANG Xinyue LIU Lingyu BAI Shanshan JI Luoyu PAN Xuechen LI 2023Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2023,17,9:0
