| 1 | Inositol Pyrophosphate lnsP8 Acts as an Intracellular Phosphate Signal in Arabidopsis显示文摘The maintenance of cellular phosphate(Pi)homeostasis is of great importance in living organisms.The SPX domain-containing protein 1(SPX1)proteins from both Arabidopsis and rice have been proposed to act as sensors of Pi status.The molecular signal indicating the cellular Pi status and regulating Pi homeostasis in plants,however,remains to be identified,as Pi itself does not bind to the SPX domain.Here,we report the identification of the inositol pyrophosphate lnsP8 as a signaling molecule that regulates Pi homeostasis in Arabidopsis.Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis profiling of InsPs revealed that lnsP8 level positively correlates with cellular Pi concentration.We demonstrated that the homologs of diphosphoinositol pentaki-sphosphate kinase(PPIP5K),VIH1 and VIH2,function redundantly to synthesize lnsP8,and that the vih1 vih2 double mutant overaccumulates Pi.SPX1 directly interacts with PHR1,the central regulator of Pi starvation responses,to inhibit its function under Pi-replete conditions.However,this interaction is compromised in the vih1 vih2 double mutant,resulting in the constitutive induction of Pi starvation-induced genes,indicating that plant cells cannot sense cellular Pi status without lnsP8.Furthermore,we showed that lnsP8 could directly bind to the SPX domain of SPX1 and is essential for the interaction between SPX1 and PHR1.Collectively,our study suggests that lnsP8 is the intracellular Pi signaling molecule serving as the ligand of SPX1 for controlling Pi homeostasis in plants. | Jinsong Dong Guojie Ma Liqian Sui Mengwei Wei Viswanathan Satheesh Ruyue Zhang Shenghong Ge Jinkai Li Tong-En Zhang Christopher Wittwer Henning JJessen Huiming Zhang Guo-Yong An Dai-Yin Chao Dong Liu Mingguang Lei | 2019 | Molecular Plant2019,12,11: | 8 |
| 2 | Preparation and hydrogen gas sensitive characteristics of highly ordered titania nanotube arrays显示文摘In this paper, we report the growth and characteristics of titania nanotube arrays prepared by anodic oxidation and then annealed in an oxygen atmosphere at 500℃. The titania nanotube arrays presented high sensitivity to hydrogen gas. The crystalline phase of the samples was checked by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The differences in the nanotubes morphology attributed to the etched samples due to anodiza- tion potential, reaction time and the electrolyte concentration were analyzed by scanning electron mi- croscopy (SEM). | 7 | Synthesis of ZSM-5/MOR Co-crystalline Zeolite without Template and the Catalytic Application Thereof显示文摘A ZSM-5/MOR co-crystalline zeolite was synthesized without using the template. The physico-chemical properties of the zeolite were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM and TPD and then compared with the co-crystalline zeolite synthesized with a template. Analytical results indicated that they were similar in structure and composition. The influences of pH value and Si/Al ratio on synthesis were studied. It was found that a high pH value or a low Si/Al ratio could provide better environment for mordenite (MOR) crystallization. The zeolites applied as catalysts in naphtha catalytic cracking for producing ethylene and propylene showed outstanding catalytic performance with the total yield of ethylene and propylene reaching 55 m%. The structure of the complex was characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal structure was determined to be triclinic, space group P 1with a=0.648 6(8) nm, b=0.809 2(10) nm, c= 1.357 1(16) nm,α =96.967(16)°, β =102.506(15)°,γ =104.202 (15)°, Z=2. The complex is stabilized via five hydrogen bonds between the three components, N—O electrostatic interaction and O—O interaction (electron transfer) between1-piperidinecarboxylate and H2O. Due to electron transference of carbamate ion, the oxygen atom in water molecule is strongly negatively charged and the O—H bond is considerably shorter than that of the free molecule of water. The formation of the molecular complex is a reversible process and will decompose upon heating.
