1Understanding the impact of mountain landscapes on water balance in the upper Heihe River watershed in northwestern China显示文摘Estimating the impact of mountain landscape on hydrology or water balance is essential for the sustainable development strategies of water resources.Specifically,understanding how the change of each landscape influences hydrological components will greatly improve the predictability of hydrological responses to mountain landscape changes and thus can help the government make sounder decisions.In the paper,we used the VIC(Variable Infiltration Capacity)model to conduct hydrological modeling in the upper Heihe River watershed,along with a frozen-soil module and a glacier melting module to improve the simulation.The improved model performed satisfactorily.We concluded that there are differences in the runoff generation of mountain landscape both in space and time.About 50% of the total runoff at the catchment outlet were generated in mid-mountain zone(2,900-4,000 m asl),and water was mainly consumed in low mountain region(1,700-2,900 m asl)because of the higher requirements of trees and grasses.The runoff coefficient was 0.37 in the upper Heihe River watershed.Barren landscape produced the largest runoff yields(52.46% of the total runoff)in the upper Heihe River watershed,followed by grassland(34.15%),shrub(9.02%),glacier(3.57%),and forest(0.49%).In order to simulate the impact of landscape change on hydrological components,three landscape change scenarios were designed in the study.Scenario 1,2 and 3 were to convert all shady slope landscapes at 2,000-3,300 m,2,000-3,700 m,and 2,000-4,000 m asl respectively to forest lands,with forest coverage rate increased to 12.4%,28.5% and 42.0%,respectively.The runoff at the catchment outlet correspondingly declined by 3.5%,13.1% and 24.2% under the three scenarios.The forest landscape is very important in water conservation as it reduced the flood peak and increased the base flow.The mountains as 'water towers' play important roles in water resources generation and the impact of mountain landscapes on hydrology is significant.Jia QIN YongJian DING JinKui WU MingJie GAO ShuHua YI ChuanCheng ZHAO BaiSheng YE Man LI ShengXia WANG 2013Journal of Arid Land2013,5,3:6
2Spontaneous firing in olfactory bulb neurons of Bufo bufo gargarizans in and after hibernation显示文摘Microelectrode technique was used to record the spontaneous electrical activities of the neurons in olfactory bulb of the Bufo bufo gargarizans, both in hibernation and after hibernation. This study investigated the electrophysiological characteristics of amphibian olfactory bulb in the period of hibernation and after hibernation and its effects on the start of hibernation and spontaneous awakening. The research showed four forms of spontaneous firings: single spontaneous firing, burst spontaneous firing, irregular spontaneous firing and consecutive single spontaneous firing. The single spontaneous firing includes slow depolarized spontaneous firing and fast depolarized spontaneous firing, and the slow depolarized spontaneous firing occurs only during the hibernation period. In hibernation, the low amplitude and low frequency firing with a longer duration may be relevant to maintaining the tonicity of the central nervous system in toads that are in hibernation, and this kind of firing may also provide an excited basis for their arousal from hibernation. After hibernation, the amplitude and frequency of firing increase, but the firing duration gets shorter. 4Effects of the physical and chemical properties of petroleum coke on its slurryability显示文摘In this study, the effects of particle size distribution (PSD), chemical composition and pore structure of petroleum coke on the slurryability of petroleum coke water slurry (PCWS) were investigated. Four petroleum cokes were studied, and they showed completely different slurryability. The solid concentration at fixed viscosity (i.e. apparent viscosity of 1000 mPa) (SCFV) of four PCWSs is different from each other, with the highest value of 70.9%, and lowest of 62.1%. The apparent viscosity of the four PCWSs all increased with an increase of the solid concentration. The results showed that the PSD, inherent moisture content, specific surface area and pore volume of petroleum coke were key factors to affect the slurryability. 5Single-molecule optoelectronic devices:physical mechanism and beyond显示文摘Single-molecule devices not only promise to provide an alternative strategy to break through the miniaturization and functionalization bottlenecks faced by traditional semiconductor devices,but also provide a reliable platform for exploration of the intrinsic properties of matters at the single-molecule level.Because the regulation of the electrical properties of single-molecule devices will be a key factor in enabling further advances in the development of molecular electronics,it is necessary to clarify the interactions between the charge transport occurring in the device and the external fields,particularly the optical field.This review mainly introduces the optoelectronic effects that are involved in single-molecule devices,including photoisomerization switching,photoconductance,plasmon-induced excitation,photovoltaic effect,and electroluminescence.We also summarize the optoelectronic mechanisms of single-molecule devices,with particular emphasis on the photoisomerization,photoexcitation,and photo-assisted tunneling processes.Finally,we focus the discussion on the opportunities and challenges arising in the single-molecule optoelectronics field and propose further possible breakthroughs.Peihui Li Yijian Chen Boyu Wang Mengmeng Li Dong Xiang Chuancheng Jia Xuefeng Guo 2022Opto-Electronic Advances2022,5,5:2

17Two-dimensional van der Waals thin film transistors as active matrix for spatially resolved pressure sensing显示文摘The development of pressure sensor arrays capable of distinguishing the shape and texture details of objects is of considerable interest in the emerging fields of smart robots,prostheses,human-machine interfaces,and artificial intelligence(AI).Here we report an integrated pressure sensor array,by combining solution-processed two-dimensional(2D)MoS2 van der Waals(vdW)thin film transistor(TFT)active matrix and conductive micropyramidal pressure-sensitive rubber(PSR)electrodes made of polydimethylsiloxane/carbon nanotube composites,to achieve spatially revolved pressure mapping with excellent contrast and low power consumption.We demonstrate a 10×10 active matrix by using the 2D MoS2 vdW-TFTs with high on-off ratio>10^(6),minimal hysteresis,and excellent device-to-device uniformity.The combination of the vdW-TFT active matrix with the highly uniform micropyramidal PSR electrodes creates an integrated pressure sensing array for spatially resolved pressure mapping.This study demonstrates that the solution-processed 2D vdW-TFTs offer a solution for active-matrix control of pressure sensor arrays,and could be extended for other active-matrix arrays of electronic or optoelectronic devices.Chao Ma Dong Xu Peiqi Wang Zhaoyang Lin Jingyuan Zhou Chuancheng Jia Jin Huang Shengtao Li Yu Huang Xiangfeng Duan 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:1

19Structural Transition Dynamics in Carbon Electrode-Based Single-Molecule Junctions显示文摘Monitoring the structural transitions of individual molecules is of great significance because it helps to in depth explore the properties of molecules and provide diverse possibilities for molecular applications in the fields of chemistry,biology and material science.This review summarizes the strategy of using single-molecule electrical approaches to study molecular structure transitions at the single-molecule level in real time.Specifically,through the use of stable single-molecule devices for real-time electrical monitoring,the process of molecular structure transitions of a single molecule can be investigated,which helps to explore the nature of molecules in chemical and biological systems.In particular,the detection methods have been extended to the investigation of biological macromolecules for monitoring the conformational changes of nucleotide chains in different systems,such as double helix DNA,aptamer and DNA enzyme.In the end,we discuss the future challenges of probing structural transitions of single molecules,and provide prospects for further breakthroughs in this field.Peihui Li Chuancheng Jia Xuefeng Guo 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,2:1
