2Detrital-zircon geochronology of the Jurassic coal-bearing strata in the western Ordos Basin, North China: Evidences for multi-cycle sedimentation显示文摘The western Ordos Basin(WOB), situated in a tectonic transition zone in the North China Craton, acts as an excellent example for studying the Mesozoic intraplate sedimentation and deformation in Asia. In this study, U-Pb ages for 1203 detrital zircons of 14 sandstone samples collected from 11 sections are presented to unravel the sediment source locations and paleogeographic environments of the Early-Middle Jurassic coal-bearing Yan'an Formation in the WOB. Data show that there are five prominent age groups in the detrital zircons of the Yan'an Formation, peaking at ca. 282 Ma, 426 Ma, 924 Ma, 1847 Ma, and2468 Ma. Samples from the northern, middle, and southern parts of the WOB contain these five age categories in various proportions. In the northern region, the Yan'an Formation exclusively contains Early Permian detrital zircons with a single age group peaking at 282 Ma, matching well with the crystallizing ages of the widespread Early Permian granites in the Yinshan Belt to the north and the Alxa Block to the northwest. While in the southern region, the Yan'an Formation mainly contains three groups of detrital zircons, with age peaks at 213 Ma, 426 Ma, and 924 Ma. These zircon ages resemble those of the igneous rocks in the Qilian-Qinling Orogenic Belt to the south-southwest. Samples in the middle region, characterized by a mixture age spectrum with peaks at 282 Ma, 426 Ma, 924 Ma, 1847 Ma and 2468 Ma, are previously thought to have mixed derivations from surrounding ranges. However, by referring to the detrital-zircon age compositions of the pre-Jurassic sedimentary successions and combining with paleontological and petrographic analysis, we firstly propose that the sediments of the Yan'an Formation in the middle region were partly recycled from the Triassic and Paleozoic sedimentary strata in the WOB.The occurrence of recycled sedimentation suggests that the Late Triassic-Early Jurassic intraplate compressional deformation was very intense in the WOB, especially for regions in front of the Qilian Orogenic Belt.Pei Guo Chiyang Liu Jianqiang Wang Yu Deng Guangzhou Mao Wenqing Wang 2018Geoscience Frontiers2018,9,6:8

4Effects of uranium on hydrocarbon generation of hydrocarbon source rocks with type-Ⅲ kerogen显示文摘Organic-inorganic interaction exists universally and is important in the process of mineral resources formation.It is the essential reason why organic oil,gas,coal and inorganic uranium coexist,accumulate,and mineralize in the same sedimentary basins.Hydrocarbon-generating simulation experiment was conducted using low-mature hydrocarbon source rock containing kerogen type III with uranium(UO2CO3 solution)added to study the effects of uranium on the hydrocarbon generation of hydrocarbon source rocks.Experiment results show that uranium can enhance the yield of gas hydrocarbon,promote the total gas output,and increase the total hydrocarbon production(mass or volume).Uranium may lower the hydrocarbon generation threshold temperature and lead to the generation of liquid hydrocarbon in the relative low temperature of hydrocarbon source rock.Uranium can enhance the yield of saturated hydrocarbon,promote the low molecular weight hydrocarbons generating,and in turn increase the content of CH4 and the content of dry gas of the generated hydrocarbons.Uranium is one of the potential inorganic accelerating factors of the immature hydrocarbons.MAO GuangZhou LIU ChiYang ZHANG DongDong QIU XinWei WANG JianQiang LIU BaoQuan LIU JingJiang QU ShaoDong DENG Yu WANG FeiFei ZHANG Can 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,6:5
5Upper-ocean variation in the northern South China Seafrom mooring station observations显示文摘CTD temperature, salinity and ADCP current data, which were observed by R/V Shiyan No. 3 during the intensive observational period (IOP) of the South China Sea monsoon experiment (SCSMEX), have been analyzed. Some study results from observations at a mooring station located at the vicinity of continental slope off the south of Dongsha Islands are shown. The dynamic and thermody namic structures as wall as their changes are analyzed to describe the upper-ocean variation in the northern South China Sea during the summer monsoon onset and maintaining periods. 6Amniotic Membrane Transplantation for Conjunctival Tumor显示文摘Purpose: To evaluate the possibility of amniotic membrane transplantation (AMT) for the treatment of conjunctival tumor.Methods: Preserved AMT was performed in 26 patients (26 eyes) with conjunctival tumor, including 9 eyes (34.62%) with malignant tumor (conjunctival malignant melanoma,corneal and conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma, conjunctival lymphoma), 17 eyes(65.38%) with benign tumor(conjunctival papilloma, conjunctival dermoid tumor, conjunctival nevus, hemangioma etc.).Result: All the patients are followed up for 1 ~53 months. No acute rejection was observed after preserved AMT. Ideal healing was found in conjunctiva wound.Conclusion: Preserved AMT is a very effective method to repair wound after giant conjunctival tumor operation. 8Rb-Sr Dating of Pyrite and Quartz Fluid Inclusions and Origin of Ore-forming Materials of the Jinshan Gold Deposit, Northeast Jiangxi Province, South China显示文摘The Jinshan gold deposit is located in the Northeast Jiangxi province,South China,which related to the ductile shear zone.It contains two ore types,i.e.the alteration-type ore and the goldbearing quartz vein ore.Rb-Sr age dating is applied to both gold-bearing pyrite in the alteration-type ore and fluid inclusion in the gold-bearing quartz vein to make clear the time of the gold mineralization of the Jinshan deposit.Analytical results of this study yielded that the age of the alteration-type ore bodies is about 838±110Ma,with an initial87Sr/86Sr value of 0.7045±0.0020.However,the age of the gold-bearing quartz vein-type ore is about 379±49Ma,and the initial87Sr/86Sr is 0.7138±0.0011.Based on the age data from this work and many previous studies,the authors consider that the Jinshan gold deposit is a product of multi-staged mineralization,which may include the Jinninian,Caledonian,Hercynian,and Yanshanian Periods.Among them,the Jinninian Period and the Hercynian Period might be the two most important ore-forming periods for Jinshan deposit.The Jinninian Period is the main stage for the formation of alteration-type ore bodies,while the Hercynian Period is the major time for ore bodies of gold-bearing quartz vein type.The initial values of the87Sr/86Sr from this study,as well as the previous isotope and trace element studies,indicate that the ore-forming materials mainly derived from the metamorphic wall rocks,and the ore-forming fluids mainly originated from the deep metamorphic water.MAO Guangzhou HUA Renmin LONG Guangming LU Huijuan 2013Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,6:1
9INHIBITION OF RAT LENS ALDOSE REDUCTASE BY QUERCETAGETIN AND PATULETIN显示文摘In this paper the results of inhibition of the Aldose reductase(AR) activity on Wistar rat lens by Quercetagetin extracted from Tagetes erects Linn and by Patuletin extracted from Tagetes patula Linn are reported.Quercetagetin inhibited AR of the rat lens by 93.9% at 10^(-4)M, 76.0% at 10^(-5)M and 13.3% at 10^(-6)M. Patuletin inhibited AR of the rat lens by 100% at 10^(-1)M, 80% at 10^(-5)M and 22.7% at 10^(-6)M respectively. 10A Model for Blindness Prevention显示文摘Objective :To introduce the work of the prevention and treatment of blindness of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, to find out the effective model of blindness prevention and treatment in China.Method; 1. To provide high quality clinical service to rural people. 2. To conduct epidemio-logical survey 3.To train local ophthalmic professionals 4.To promote international cooperation.Result:40 000 outpatients cases, 4 500 cataract surgeries have been accomplished. Thousands cataract blind have been rehabilitated. 9 papers concerning epidemiological survey have been published. After the international training courses, 50 local ophthalmic workers have been trained and 4 cataract surgery rehabilitation centers have been founded. Conclusion : An effective model for blindness prevention and treatment should be based on clinical service, population based epidemiological survey and local ophthalmic professionals training. 12SUPERDISLOCATION DISSOCIATION IN INTERMETALLIC COMPOUND Ni_3Al显示文摘The dissociation of a [1-01] superdislocation in Ni 3Al was studied by computer simulation techniques using the embedded atom method (EAM). Three types of dissociation were obtained, depending on the initial position of elastic centers of the superdislocation. One is the stable planar dissociation that the superdislocation dissociates on only one {111} plane into a pair of 1/2[1-01] superpartials separated by antiphase boundary (APB). Another stable dissociation is that it occurs on two adjacent {111} planes joined by an intersecting {111} or (010) plane. 19HLA ANTIGENS AND VOGT-KOYANAGI- HARADA'S DISEASE显示文摘Thirty patients with Vogt-Koyanagi-Haradas disease were typed for HLA-A and HLA-B antigenic determinants by a microlymphocytotoxicity technique. HLA-B22 antigen showed an increased frequency of 43.3% in the patient group(relative risk=8.69; exact P<0.0001; corrected P<0.0025) compared with normal control group(frequency=7.69%).
