4Grinding force and surface quality in creep feed profile grinding of turbine blade root of nickel-based superalloy with microcrystalline alumina abrasive wheels显示文摘Creep feed profile grinding of the fir-tree blade root forms of single crystal nickel-based superalloy was conducted using microcrystalline alumina abrasive wheels in the present study. The grinding force and the surface quality in terms of surface topography, subsurface microstructure,microhardness and residual stress obtained under different grinding conditions were evaluated comparatively. Experimental results indicated that the grinding force was influenced significantly by the competing predominance between the grinding parameters and the cross-sectional root workpiece profile. In addition, the root workpiece surface, including the root peak and valley regions, was produced with the large difference in surface quality due to the nonuniform grinding loads along the root workpiece profile in normal section. Detailed results showed that the surface roughness, subsurface plastic deformation and work hardening level of the root valley region were higher by up to25%, 20% and 7% in average than those obtained in the root peak region, respectively, in the current investigation. Finally, the superior parameters were recommended in the creep feed profile grinding of the fir-tree blade root forms. 6The proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 geneE670G polymorphism and serum lipid levels in the Guangxi Bai Ku Yao and Han populations显示文摘Background The association of E670G polymorphism in the proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) gene and serum lipid profiles is inconsistent in dif- ferent ethnic groups.Bai Ku Yao is a special subgroup of the Yao minority in China.The present study was undertaken association of PCSK9 E670G polymorphism and several environmental factors with serum lipid levels in the Guangxi Bai Ku Yao and Han populations.Methods A total of 649 subjects of Bai Ku Yao and 646 participants of Han Chinese were randomly selected from our previous stratified randomized cluster samples.Genotyping of the PCSK9 E670G polymorphism was performed by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism combined with gel electrophoresis,and then confirmed by direct sequencing. Results The levels of serum total cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) and apolipoprotein(Apo) AI were lower in Bai Ku Yao than in Han(P<0.01 for all).The frequency of A and G alleles was 98.00%and 2.00%in Bai Ku Yao,and 95.20%and 4.80%in Han(P<0.01);respectively. 7Characterization of the aerosol chemical composition during the COVID-19 lockdown period in Suzhou in the Yangtze River Delta,China显示文摘To control the spread of COVID-19,rigorous restrictions have been implemented in China,resulting in a great reduction in pollutant emissions.In this study,we evaluated the air quality in the Yangtze River Delta during the COVID-19 lockdown period using satellite and ground-based data,including particle matter(PM),trace gases,water-soluble ions(WSIs) and black carbon(BC).We found that the impacts of lockdown policy on air quality cannot be accurately assessed using MODIS aerosol optical depth(AOD) data,whereas the tropospheric nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2)) vertical column density can well reflect the influences of these restrictions on human activities.Compared to the pre-COVID period,the PM_(2.5),PM_(10),NO_(2),carbon monoxide(CO),BC and WSIs during the lockdown in Suzhou were observed to decrease by 37.2%,38.3%,64.5%,26.1%,53.3% and 58.6%,respectively,while the sulfur dioxide(SO_(2)) and ozone(O_(3)) increased by 1.5% and 104.7%.The WSIs ranked in the order of NO_(3)~->NH_(4)^(+)>SO_(4)^(2-)>Cl~->Ca^(2+)>K^(+)>Mg^(2+)>Na + during the lockdown period.By comparisons with the ion concentrations during the pre-COVID period,we found that the ions NO 3-,NH 4 +,SO_(4)^(2-),Cl~-,Ca^(2+),K^(+) and Na^(+) decreased by 66.3%,48.8%,52.9%,56.9%,57.9% and 76.3%,respectively,during the lockdown,in contrast to Mg^(2+),which increased by 30.2%.The lockdown policy was found to have great impacts on the diurnal variations of Cl~-,SO_(4)^(2-),Na^(+) and Ca^(2+).Honglei Wang Qing Miao Lijuan Shen Qian Yang Yezheng Wu Heng Wei Yan Yin Tianliang Zhao Bin Zhu Wen Lu 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4:8
8Zika virus infection induces RNAi-mediated antiviral immunity in human neural progenitors and brain organoids显示文摘The re-emergence of Zika virus(ZIKV)in the Western Hemisphere has resulted in global public health crisis since 2015.ZIKV preferentially infects and targets human neural progenitor cells(hNPCs)and causes fetal microcephaly upon maternal infection.hNPCs not only play critical roles during fetal brain development,but also persist in adult brain throughout life.Yet the mechanism of innate antiviral immunity in hNPCs remains largely unknown.Here,we show that ZIKV infection triggers the abundant production of virus-derived small interfering RNAs in hNPCs,but not in the more differentiated progenies or somatic cells.Ablation of key RNAi machinery components significantly enhances ZIKV replication in hNPCs.Furthermore,enoxacin,a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is known as an RNAi enhancer,exerts potent anti-ZIKV activity in hNPCs and other RNAi-competent cells.Strikingly,enoxacin treatment completely prevents ZIKV infection and circumvents ZIKV-induced microcephalic phenotypes in brain organoid models that recapitulate human fetal brain development.Our findings highlight the physiological importance of RNAi-mediated antiviral immunity during the early stage of human brain development,uncovering a novel strategy to combat human congenital viral infections through enhancing RNAi.Yan-Peng Xu Yang Qiu Boya Zhang Guilai Chen Qi Chen Miao Wang Fan Mo Jiuyue Xu Jin Wu Rong-Rong Zhang Meng-Li Cheng Na-Na Zhang Bao Lyu Wen-Liang Zhu Meng-Hua Wu Qing Ye Da Zhang Jiang-Hong Man Xiao-Feng Li Jie Cui Zhiheng Xu Baoyang Hu Xi Zhou Cheng-Feng Qin 2019Cell Research2019,29,4:8
9Effect of temperature on anoxic metabolism of nitrites to nitrous oxide by polyphosphate accumulating organisms显示文摘Temperature is an important physical factor, which strongly influences biomass and metabolic activity. In this study, the effects of temperature on the anoxic metabolism of nitrite(NO-2) to nitrous oxide(N2O) by polyphosphate accumulating organisms, and the process of the accumulation of N2O(during nitrite reduction), which acts as an electron acceptor, were investigated using 91% ± 4% Candidatus Accumulibacter phosphatis sludge. The results showed that N2O is accumulated when Accumulibacter first utilize nitrite instead of oxygen as the sole electron acceptor during the denitrifying phosphorus removal process. Properties such as nitrite reduction rate, phosphorus uptake rate, N2O reduction rate, and polyhydroxyalkanoate degradation rate were all influenced by temperature variation(over the range from 10 to 30°C reaching maximum values at 25°C). The reduction rate of N2O by N2O reductase was more sensitive to temperature when N2O was utilized as the sole electron acceptor instead of NO2, and the N2O reduction rates, ranging from 0.48 to 3.53 N2O-N/(hr·g VSS), increased to 1.45 to 8.60 mg N2O-N/(hr·g VSS). The kinetics processes for temperature variation of 10 to 30°C were(θ1 = 1.140–1.216 and θ2= 1.139–1.167). In the range of 10°C to 30°C, almost all of the anoxic stoichiometry was sensitive to temperature changes. 10An investigation on machined surface quality and tool wear during creep feed grinding of powder metallurgy nickel-based superalloy FGH96 with alumina abrasive wheels显示文摘In this study,the machined surface quality of powder metallurgy nickel-based superalloy FGH96(similar to Rene88DT)and the grinding characteristics of brown alumina(BA)and microcrystalline alumina(MA)abrasive wheels were comparatively analyzed during creep feed grinding.The infuences of the grinding parameters(abrasive wheel speed,workpiece infeed speed,and depth of cut)on the grinding force,grinding temperature,surface roughness,surface morphology,tool wear,and grinding ratio were analyzed comprehensively.The experimental results showed that there was no significant difference in terms of the machined surface quality and grinding characteristics of FGH96 during grinding with the two types of abrasive wheels.This was mainly because the grinding advantages of the MA wheel were weakened for the difficult-to-cut FGH96 material.Moreover,both the BA and MA abrasive wheeIs exhibited severe tool wear in the form of wheel clogging and workpiece material adhesion.Finally,an analytical model for prediction of the grinding ratio was established by combining the tool wear volume,grinding force,and grinding length.The acceptable errors between the predicted and experimental grinding ratios(ranging from 0.6 to 1.8)were 7.56%and 6.31%for the BA and MA abrasive wheels,respectively.This model can be used to evaluate quantitatively the grinding performance of an alumina abrasive wheel,and is therefore helpful for optimizing the grinding parameters in the creep feed grinding process.Ben-Kai Li Qing Miao Min Li Xi Zhang Wen-Feng Ding 2020Advances in Manufacturing2020,8,2:7

12The Effects of Tetrandrine (TT) and Polyvinylpyridine-N-Oxide (PVNO) on Gene Expression of Type Ⅰand Type ⅢCollagens during Experimental Silicosis显示文摘In the screening tests of drugs for silicosis in our laboratory, we found that TT, a type of alkaloid isolated from Stephania tetrandra, could inhibit the development of experimental silicosis of rats and the synthesis of collagen in rat lung. Chest X-rays of silicotic patients treaied with TT for 1-3 years showed obvious changes. The silicotic nodules became smallel and shadows became clearer. PVNO was proved to have anti-silicotic effect on animal and clinically. This presentation reports the effect of them on collagen mRNA.Dot blot results showed that 1 (Ⅰ) and 1 (Ⅲ) mRNA levels increased significantly at 60 and 120 days after the rats were exposed to silica dust. The mRNA levels went down at 1 and 3 months after treated by TT and PVNO. In situ hybridization observation revealed that the silver grains of Type Ⅰand Type Ⅲ collagen were scattered within the fibroblasts in cellular nodules and in thickened interstitium of silicosis tissue. The amounts of mRNA silver grains decreased in the lung tissue treated by TT and PVNO. 13Division of diagenesis reservoir facies and its control——Case study of Chang-3 reservoir in Yangchang formation of Fuxian exploration area in northern Shaanxi显示文摘By dividing the diagenetic reservoir facies and studying its distribution,we can effectively evaluate reservoirs.Using an analytical method for mutual relationships among diagenesis of reservoirs,structural characteristics and the origin of types of sand,we classified the diagenetic reservoir of the Yanchang formation Chang-3 oil layer into different types and analyzed the factors controlling this high quality reservoir.The results show that:1) the catagenesis of the Chang-3 oil layer in the Fuxian region is complex and variable;2) mechanical compaction,pressure solutions and cementation of all kinds of authogenous minerals decreases porosity by 28.13% and 3) corrosion increases porosity by 3.39%.Cementation and corrosion of laumontite is a kind of catagenesis which makes this region different from other exploratory regions.The original amount and rate of corrosion of laumontite are the main factors for the increase in laumontite porosity.The Chang-3 oil layer developed four kinds of diagenetic reservoir facies,of which the weak compaction facies,i.e.,laumontite corrosion and overgrowth,of the original pore reservoir facies has the most promising diagenesis.Its distribution is controlled by a sedimentary facies zone and is widely developed in the original truncated tributary channel facies belt of the delta plain.The development of this high quality reservoir is controlled by the distribution of sedimentary sand bodies and secondarily-eroded porosity of laumontite in the Chang-3 oil layer of the Fuxian exploratory region.FU Guo-min QIN Xiao-li MIAO Qing ZHANG Tian-jin YANG Jian-peng 2009Mining Science and Technology2009,19,4:6

Methods A total of 626 subjects of Bai Ku Yao and 624 participants of Han Chinese were randomly selected from our previous stratified randomized cluster samples.Genotyping of rs 1044925 polymorphism in the ACAT-1 gene was performed by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism combined with gel electrophoresis,and then confirmed by direct sequencing.Results The levels of serum total cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),apolipoprotein(Apo) AI and ApoB were lower in Bai Ku Yao than in Han(P<0.01 for all).The frequency of A and C alleles was 79.0%and 21.0%in Bai Ku Yao,and 87.3%and 12.7%in Han(P<0.001);respectively.The frequency of AA,AC and CC genotypes was 63.2%,31.4% and 5.2%in Bai Ku Yao,and 75.6%,23.2%and 1.1%in Han(P<0.001);respectively.The levels of TC,LDL-C and ApoB in Bai Ku Yao but not in Han were different between the AA and AC/CC genotypes in females but not in males (P<0.05 for all).The C allele carriers had lower serum TC, LDL-C and ApoB levels as compared with the C allele non-carriers. 19Anti-Hypertensive Action of Fenofibrate via UCP2 Upregulation Mediated by PPAR Activation in Baroreflex Afferent Pathway显示文摘Fenofibrate, an agonist for peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha(PPAR-a), lowers blood pressure, but whether this action is mediated via baroreflex afferents has not been elucidated. In this study, the distribution of PPAR-a and PPAR-c was assessed in the nodose ganglion(NG) and the nucleus of the solitary tract(NTS). Hypertension induced by drinking high fructose(HFD) was reduced, along with complete restoration of impaired baroreceptor sensitivity, by chronic treatment with fenofibrate. The molecular data also showed that both PPAR-a and PPAR-c were dramatically up-regulated in the NG and NTS of the HFD group.
