1Characteristics of distribution of Mycobacterium tuberculosis lineages in China显示文摘The genotyping methods of Mycobacterium tuberculosis would dramatically improve our understanding of the molecular epidemiology of tuberculosis. 3,929 isolates, from a National Survey of Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis in 2007 in China, were successfully genotyped by large sequence polymorphisms and 15 loci variable number tandem repeats. We found that 2,905(2,905/3,929, 73.9%) cases belonged to Lineage 2, dominated in the east and central regions, 975 cases(975/3,929, 24.8%) were Lineage 4, highly prevailed in the west regions, and 36 and 13 cases were Lineage 3 and Lineage 1, respectively. We also explored the associations between lineages(Lineage 2 vs. Lineage 4) and clinical characteristics by logistic regression. For Lineage 2, the risk factors were Han-ethnicity population and fever. However, for Lineage 4, they were occupation(farmer), and degree of education(non-literate). 2Study on Changes in the Characteristics of Key Carbohydrates in Wheat during the After-ripening Period显示文摘Three wheat cultivars—Zhengmai 366(ZM366), Zhoumai 27(ZM27) and Yangmai 15(YM15)—were used in the present study. After storage at 25?C for 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 and 150 d, the crude starch, amylose, amylopectin, damaged starch and reducing sugar contents in wheat during the after-ripening period were measured. The results revealed(1) a marginal decrease in the total starch content;(2) no significant change in the amylopectin content; and(3) significant change in the amylose and reducing sugar contents during the after-ripening period in all the three wheat cultivars. Further, the amylose content in the three cultivars exhibited an increasing trend during the initial phase of the after-ripening period. Among the cultivars, ZM366 exhibited the highest increase,which stabilized after 90 d. The reducing sugar content showed a significant decrease during the initial phase of the after-ripening period with ZM366 showing the highest decrease, which attained stability after 90 d. The damaged starch content in all the three wheat cultivars exhibited a decreasing trend with ZM27 showing the highest decrease, which stabilized after 90 d. There were no changes in the forms of starch crystal among the three wheat cultivars after the after-ripening period, with only ZM366 showing a significant increase in starch crystallinity. 7Fabric characteristics of in situ sand with/without liquefaction verified by anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility显示文摘It is well known that fabric of sand may significantly affect mechanical behaviors and liquefaction resistance of sand.Various optical techniques are currently utilized to visualize the fabric,especially the distribution of the long axis of soil particles.However,none of these methods provides an ideal solution in laboratory tests and in situ observation.In this study,anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility(AMS)was first proposed as a convenient and efficient way to evaluate the liquefaction of clean sand.At first,investigations with scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and AMS were simultaneously conducted on two groups of soil specimens with different initial fabrics to verify the feasibility of the AMS technique.Then,80 in situ samples were collected to analyze the feature of liquefied and non-liquefied sand layers through AMS tests.It is clearly known from the test results that the natural sedimentary fabric was destroyed during liquefaction and the fabric anisotropy was greatly changed after liquefaction.The feasibility of evaluating soil fabric using the AMS survey was verified by the laboratory tests.Furthermore,the applicability of AMS in detecting liquefied layer in situ was confirmed for the first time.Xueqian Ni Junnan Ma Hide Sakaguchi Feng Zhang 2023Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2023,15,5:0
