| 1 | 电力系统连锁故障的多层时序运行演化模型与应用显示文摘为研究电网大停电事故的宏观安全特征,并揭示连锁故障过程中呈现的微观脆弱环节,提出多层时序运行演化模型对连锁故障进行模拟。该模型由运行内层、时序中层及演化外层构成,较传统仿真模型在负荷时序规则、故障传播方式及电网建设等方面均具有更加合理的设置,能够较为真实地反映电网运行、发展与连锁故障的关系。采用IEEE 300节点系统和某省级实际电网作为连锁故障仿真算例,结合电网自组织临界性与负荷损失时序特性,说明所建模型揭示更加了符合实际的连锁故障宏观安全特征;同时,针对仿真结果所揭示的脆弱线路、重要无功支撑节点及故障线路同步性等电网脆弱环节,与已有方法和指标进行对比,验证了所建模型亦可用于揭示电网微观脆弱环节辨识。 | 刁塑 刘友波 刘俊勇 许立雄 Gareth Taylor Maozhen Li | 2015 | 中国电机工程学报2015,35,S1: | 9 |
| 2 | Classification of the Gut Microbiota of Patients in Intensive Care Units During Development of Sepsis and Septic Shock显示文摘The gut microbiota of intensive care unit(ICU)patients displays extreme dysbiosis associated with increased susceptibility to organ failure,sepsis,and septic shock.However,such dysbiosis is difficult to characterize owing to the high dimensional complexity of the gut microbiota.We tested whether the concept of enterotype can be applied to the gut microbiota of ICU patients to describe the dysbiosis.We collected 131 fecal samples from 64 ICU patients diagnosed with sepsis or septic shock and performed 16S rRNA gene sequencing to dissect their gut microbiota compositions.During the development of sepsis or septic shock and during various medical treatments,the ICU patients always exhibited two dysbiotic microbiota patterns,or ICU-enterotypes,which could not be explained by host properties such as age,sex,and body mass index,or external stressors such as infection site and antibiotic use.ICU-enterotype I(ICU E1)comprised predominantly Bacteroides and an unclassified genus of Enterobacteriaceae,while ICU-enterotype II(ICU E2)comprised predominantly Enterococcus.Among more critically ill patients with Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II(APACHE II)scores>18,septic shock was more likely to occur with ICU E1(P=0.041).Additionally,ICU E1 was correlated with high serum lactate levels(P=0.007).Therefore,different patterns of dysbiosis were correlated with different clinical outcomes,suggesting that ICU-enterotypes should be diagnosed as independent clinical indices.Thus,the microbial-based human index classifier we propose is precise and effective for timely monitoring of ICU-enterotypes of individual patients.This work is a first step toward precision medicine for septic patients based on their gut microbiota profiles. | Wanglin Liu Mingyue Cheng Jinman Li Peng Zhang Hang Fan Qinghe Hu Maozhen Han Longxiang Su Huaiwu He Yigang Tong Kang Ning Yun Long | 2020 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,6: | 7 |
| 3 | DNA Extraction Protocol for Biological Ingredient Analysis of Liuwei Dihuang Wan显示文摘Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) preparations are widely used for healthcare and clinical practice. So far, the methods commonly used for quality evaluation of TCM preparations mainly focused on chemical ingredients. The biological ingredient analysis of TCM preparations is also important because TCM preparations usually contain both plant and animal ingredients,which often include some mis-identified herbal materials, adulterants or even some biological contaminants.For biological ingredient analysis, the efficiency of DNA extraction is an important factor which might affect the accuracy and reliability of identification. The component complexity in TCM preparations is high, and DNA might be destroyed or degraded in different degrees after a series of processing procedures. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an effective protocol for DNA extraction from TCM preparations. In this study, we chose a classical TCM preparation,Liuwei Dihuang Wan(LDW), as an example to develop a TCM-specific DNA extraction method.An optimized cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) method(TCM-CTAB) and three commonlyused extraction kits were tested for extraction of DNA from LDW samples. Experimental results indicated that DNA with the highest purity and concentration was obtained by using TCM-CTAB. To further evaluate the different extraction methods, amplification of the second internal transcribed spacer(ITS2) and the chloroplast genome trnL intron was carried out.The results have shown that PCR amplification was successful only with template of DNA extracted by using TCM-CTAB. Moreover, we performed high-throughput 454 sequencing using DNA extracted by TCM-CTAB. | 5 | Agricultural Risk Factors Influence Microbial Ecology in Honghu Lake显示文摘Agricultural activities, including stock-farming, planting industry, and fish aquaculture,can affect the physicochemical and biological characters of freshwater lakes. However, the effects of pollution producing by agricultural activities on microbial ecosystem of lakes remain unclear.Hence, in this work, we selected Honghu Lake as a typical lake that is influenced by agriculture activities. We collected water and sediment samples from 18 sites, which span a wide range of areas from impacted and less-impacted areas. We performed a geospatial analysis on the composition of microbial communities associated with physicochemical properties and antibiotic pollution of samples. The co-occurrence networks of water and sediment were also built and analyzed. Our results showed that the microbial communities of impacted and less-impacted samples of water were largely driven by the concentrations of TN, TP, NO_3^--N, and NO_2^--N, while those of sediment were affected by the concentrations of Sed-OM and Sed-TN. Antibiotics have also played important roles in shaping these microbial communities: the concentrations of oxytetracycline and tetracycline clearly reflected the variance in taxonomic diversity and predicted functional diversity between impacted and less-impacted sites in water and sediment samples, respectively. Furthermore, for samples from both water and sediment, large differences of network topology structures between impacted and less-impacted were also observed. | 14 | Study of corrosion mechanism of dawsonite led by CO_(2)partial pressure显示文摘The stability of dawsonite is an important factor affecting the feasibility evaluation of CO_(2)geological storage.In this paper,a series of experiments on the interaction of CO_(2)-water-dawsonite-bearing sandstone were carried out under different CO_(2)pressures.Considering the dissolution morphology and element composition of dawsonite after the experiment and the fluid evolution in equilibrium with dawsonite,the corrosion mechanism of dawsonite led by CO_(2)partial pressure was discussed.The CO_(2)fugacity of the vapor phase in the system was calculated using the Peng-Robinson equation of state combined with the van der Waals 1-fluid mixing rule.The experimental results indicated that the thermodynamic stability of dawsonite increased with the increase of CO_(2)partial pressure and decreased with the increase of temperature.The temperature at which dawsonite dissolution occurred was higher at higher f_(CO_(2)).There were two different ways to reduce dawsonite’s stability:the transformation of constituent elements and crystal structure damage.Dawsonite undergoes component element transformation and crystal structure damage under different CO_(2)pressures with certain temperature limits.Based on the comparison of the corrosion temperature of dawsonite,three corrosion evolution models of dawsonite under low,medium,and high CO_(2)pressures were summarized.Under conditions of medium and low CO_(2)pressure,as the temperature continued to increase and exceeded its stability limit,the dawsonite crystal structure was corroded first.Then the constituent elements of dawsonite dissolved,and the transformation of dawsonite to gibbsite began.At high CO_(2)pressure,the constituent elements of dawsonite dissolved first with the increase of temperature,forming gibbsite,followed by the corrosion of crystalline structure. | Fulai LI Hao DIAO Wenkuan MA Maozhen WANG | 2022 | Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,2: | 1 |

| 16 | TGF-β stimulation of EMT programs elicits non-genomic ER-α activity and anti-estrogen resistance in breast cancer cells显示文摘Aim:Estrogen receptor-α(ER-α)activation drives the progression of luminal breast cancers.Signaling by transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)typically opposes the actions of ER-α;it also induces epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)programs that promote breast cancer dissemination,stemness and chemoresistance.The impact of EMT programs on nongenomic ER-αsignaling remains unknown and was studied herein.Methods:MCF-7 and BT474 cells were stimulated with TGF-βto induce EMT programs,at which point ER-αexpression,localization,and nongenomic interactions with receptor tyrosine kinases and MAP kinases(MAPKs)were determined.Cell sensitivity to anti-estrogens both before and after traversing the EMT program was also investigated.Results:TGF-β-stimulated MCF-7 and BT474 cells to acquire EMT phenotypes,which enhanced cytoplasmic accumulation of ER-αwithout altering its expression.Post-EMT cells exhibited:(1)elevated expression of EGFR and IGF1R,which together with Src formed cytoplasmic complexes with ER-α;(2)enhanced coupling of EGF,IGF-1 and estrogen to the activation of MAPKs;and(3)reduced sensitivity to tamoxifen,an event reversed by administration of small molecule inhibitors against the receptors for TGF-β,EGF,and IGF-1,as well as those against MAPKs.Conclusion:EMT stimulated by TGF-βpromotes anti-estrogen resistance by activating EGFR-,IGF1R-,and MAPK-dependent nongenomic ER-αsignaling. | Maozhen Tian William P.Schiemann | 2017 | Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment2017,3,1: | 1 |
