1Development and utilization of a new chemically-induced soybean library with a high mutation density显示文摘Mutagenized populations have provided important materials for introducing variation and identifying gene function in plants. In this study, an ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS)-induced soybean(Glycine max) population,consisting of 21,600 independent M_2 lines, was developed.Over 1,000 M_(4(5))families, with diverse abnormal phenotypes for seed composition, seed shape, plant morphology and maturity that are stably expressed across different environments and generations were identified. Phenotypic analysis of the population led to the identification of a yellow pigmentation mutant, gyl, that displayed significantly decreased chlorophyll(Chl) content and abnormal chloroplast development. Sequence analysis showed that gyl is allelic to Minn Gold, where a different single nucleotide polymorphism variation in the Mg-chelatase subunit gene(ChlI1a) results in golden yellow leaves. A cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence marker was developed and may be applied to marker-assisted selection for the golden yellow phenotype in soybean breeding. 4Lithofacies and Pore Structure of Fine-grained Sedimentary Rocks of Qing-1 Member of Cretaceous in the Southern Songliao Basin显示文摘Fine-grained sedimentary rocks often contain hydrocarbon and mineral resources.Compared with coarse-grained sedimentary rocks,fine-grained sedimentary rocks are less studied.To elucidate the lithofacies and pore structure of lacustrine fine-grained rocks,the 340.6 m continuous core of Cretaceous Qing-1 Member from five wells in the southern central depression of the Songliao Basin was analyzed using X-ray diffraction,Rock-Eval pyrolysis,low-temperature nitrogen adsorption,high-pressure mercury injection,argon ion polishing-field emission scanning electron microscopy,and laser scanning confocal microscopy.Based on mineral compositions,organic matter abundance and sedimentary structure,lacustrine fine-grained rocks in the study area were divided into ten lithofacies,with their spatial distributions mainly influenced by tectonic cycle,climate cycle and provenance.Furthermore,pore structure characteristics of different lithofacies are summarized.(1)The siliceous mudstone lithofacies with low TOC content and the laminated/layered claybearing siliceous mudstone lithofacies with medium TOC content have the highest proportion of first-class pores(diameter>100 nm),making it the most favourable lithofacies for the accumulation of shale oil and shale gas.(2)The massive claybearing siliceous mudstone lithofacies with low TOC content has the highest proportion of second-class pores(diameter ranges from 10 to 100 nm),making it a favourable lithofacies for the enrichment of shale gas.(3)The massive clay-bearing siliceous mudstone lithofacies with high TOC content has the highest proportion of third-class pores(diameter<10 nm),making it intermediate in gas storage and flow.Laser confocal oil analysis shows that the heavy component of oil is mainly distributed in the clay lamina,while the light part with higher mobility is mainly concentrated in the silty lamina.LIN Lamei LIU Su XU Yang LI Fulai 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,2:1

7Discriminating hydrocarbon generation potential of coaly source rocks and their contribution:a case study from the Upper Paleozoic of Bohai Bay Basin,China显示文摘Although various coaly source rocks widely developed in the Carboniferous-Permian(C-P)of the Bohai Bay Basin,their geochemical characteristics and hydrocarbon generation potential are poorly understood.This study aims to discriminate the contribution of hydrocarbon generation from different C-P coaly source rocks and clarify the differences within generated oils using organic geochemistry,organic petrology,and thermal simulation experiments.The coaly source rocks containt coal clarain and durain,carbonaceous shale,and shale deposited in deltaic and lagoonal environment.The results indicated that clarain,durain,and carbonaceous shale exhibited higher hydrogen index and liquid-gas hydrocarbon yields than lagoonal and deltaic shales,which was mainly associated with the concentrations of sporinite,cutinite,and hydrogen-rich collodetrinite.Aliphatic hydro-carbons originated firom coal and carbonaceous shale presented lower Ts/(Ts+Tm),Ga/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane,18α(H)-oleanane/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane ratios,and higher 17β3(H)21α(H)-C_(30)Morane/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane than deltaic lagoonal shales.Parameters of aromatic hydrocarbons generated from five lithologies of coaly source rocks trended as clear group distribution,e.g.,clarain and durain showing lower MNR,DBT/Fluorene(F)ratios and higher DBF/F ratio than coaly shales.The distinct descending trend of hydrocarbon potential is obtained from clarain,durain,carbonaceous shale to lagoonal and deltaic shales,implying dominated the petroleum and natural gas supplement from coal and carbonaceous shale.The difference between aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons provides a significant contribution to analyze the generic relationship between coaly source rock and lacustrine shale.Our results illustrate the importance of coaly source rocks for the in-depth oil-gas exploration of the Bohai Bay Basin and understanding hydrocarbon generation potential of source rocks in coal bearing strata.Jinjun XU Da LOU Qiang JIN Lixin FU Fuqi CHENG Shuhui ZHOU Xiuhong WANG Chao LIANG Fulai LI 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,4:1

9ABA-mediated regulation of leaf and root hydraulic conductance in tomato grown at elevated CO2 is associated with altered gene expression of aquaporins显示文摘Elevated CO_(2)concentration in the air(e[CO_(2)])decreases stomatal density(SD)and stomatal conductance(gs)where abscisic acid(ABA)may play a role,yet the underlying mechanism remains largely elusive.We investigated the effects of e[CO_(2)](800 ppm)on leaf gas exchange and water relations of two tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)genotypes,Ailsa Craig(WT)and its ABA-deficient mutant(flacca).Compared to plants grown at ambient CO_(2)(400 ppm),e[CO_(2)]stimulated photosynthetic rate in both genotypes,while depressed the gs only in WT.SD showed a similar response to e[CO_(2)]as gs,although the change was not significant.e[CO_(2)]increased leaf and xylem ABA concentrations and xylem sap pH,where the increases were larger in WT than in flacca.Although leaf water potential was unaffected by CO_(2)growth environment,e[CO_(2)]lowered osmotic potential,hence tended to increase turgor pressure particularly for WT.e[CO_(2)]reduced hydraulic conductance of leaf and root in WT but not in flacca,which was associated with downregulation of gene expression of aquaporins.It is concluded that ABA-mediated regulation of gs,SD,and gene expression of aquaporins coordinates the whole-plant hydraulics of tomato grown at different CO_(2)environments.Liang Fang Lamis Osama Anwar Abdelhakim Josefine Nymark Hegelund Shenglan Li Jie Liu Xiaoying Peng Xiangnan Li Zhenhua Wei Fulai Liu 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:1
10Study of corrosion mechanism of dawsonite led by CO_(2)partial pressure显示文摘The stability of dawsonite is an important factor affecting the feasibility evaluation of CO_(2)geological storage.In this paper,a series of experiments on the interaction of CO_(2)-water-dawsonite-bearing sandstone were carried out under different CO_(2)pressures.Considering the dissolution morphology and element composition of dawsonite after the experiment and the fluid evolution in equilibrium with dawsonite,the corrosion mechanism of dawsonite led by CO_(2)partial pressure was discussed.The CO_(2)fugacity of the vapor phase in the system was calculated using the Peng-Robinson equation of state combined with the van der Waals 1-fluid mixing rule.The experimental results indicated that the thermodynamic stability of dawsonite increased with the increase of CO_(2)partial pressure and decreased with the increase of temperature.The temperature at which dawsonite dissolution occurred was higher at higher f_(CO_(2)).There were two different ways to reduce dawsonite’s stability:the transformation of constituent elements and crystal structure damage.Dawsonite undergoes component element transformation and crystal structure damage under different CO_(2)pressures with certain temperature limits.Based on the comparison of the corrosion temperature of dawsonite,three corrosion evolution models of dawsonite under low,medium,and high CO_(2)pressures were summarized.Under conditions of medium and low CO_(2)pressure,as the temperature continued to increase and exceeded its stability limit,the dawsonite crystal structure was corroded first.Then the constituent elements of dawsonite dissolved,and the transformation of dawsonite to gibbsite began.At high CO_(2)pressure,the constituent elements of dawsonite dissolved first with the increase of temperature,forming gibbsite,followed by the corrosion of crystalline structure.Fulai LI Hao DIAO Wenkuan MA Maozhen WANG 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,2:1
11The progressive onset and evolution of Precambrian subduction and plate tectonics显示文摘The regime of plate tectonics on early Earth is one of the fundamental problems in Earth sciences.Precambrian era takes the majority(ca.88%)of Earth’s history and thus plays a key role in understanding the onset of plate tectonics and the mechanism,distribution and process of Precambrian subduction zones.This paper presents a review on the progresses of subduction and subduction zones in different stages of Precambrian era,and sorts out some key issues and fields that merits further attention.We suggest that there was progressive onset and evolution of subduction and plate tectonics from Archean to Proterozoic eras.We emphasize the importance of comprehensive studies on subduction mechanism,metamorphic type,plate tectonics regime,the compositional evolution of continental crust,and petrogenesis of diverse granitoids formed in the Archean.It is proposed that innovative analytical techniques,big data,experimental petrology and numerical geodynamic modeling will facilitate future studies of Precambrian subduction zones.Xiaolei Wang Fulai Liu Junyong Li Di Wang 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,12:1
12Scientific objectives of the Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) mission显示文摘The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) is a proposed space-based X-ray telescope for detecting X-ray emissions from the hot gas content in our universe. With its unprecedented spatially-resolved high-resolution spectroscopy and large field of view,the HUBS mission will be uniquely qualified to measure the physical and chemical properties of the hot gas in the interstellar medium, the circumgalactic medium, the intergalactic medium, and the intracluster medium. These measurements will be valuable for two key scientific goals of HUBS, namely to unravel the AGN and stellar feedback physics that governs the formation and evolution of galaxies, and to probe the baryon budget and multi-phase states from galactic to cosmological scales. In addition to these two goals, the HUBS mission will also help us solve some problems in the fields of galaxy clusters, AGNs, difuse X-ray backgrounds, supernova remnants, and compact objects. 14Evolution of Diagenetic Fluid of the Dawsonite-Bearing Sandstone in the Jiyang Depression,Eastern China显示文摘Based on the petrology,isotope geochemistry and fluid inclusions analysis,we established the evolutionary mode of the diagenetic fluid of dawsonite-bearing sandstone in the Jiyang Depression.Dawsonite-bearing sandstone is characterized by double injection of CO_(2)and oil-gas in the Jiyang Depression that have experienced a relatively complex diagenetic fluid evolution process.The diagenetic sequence of secondary minerals involves secondary enlargement of quartz,kaolinite,first-stage calcite,dawsonite,second-stage calcite,ferrocalcite,dolomite and ankerite.Hydrocarbon charging in the dawsonite-bearing sandstone occurred at around 2.6–0 Myr.The CO_(2)charging event occurred during Dongying tectonism,forming the Pingfangwang CO_(2)gas reservoir,which provided an abundant carbon source for dawsonite precipitation.Carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions of dawsonite demonstrate that CO_(2)forming the dawsonite was of an inorganic origin derived from the mantle,and that water mediating the proc-ess during dawsonite precipitation was sequestered brine with a fluid temperature of 82℃.The evolutionary sequence of the diagenetic fluid in the dawsonite-bearing sandstone was:alkaline syngenetic fluids,weak alkaline fluids during organic acid forma-tion,acidic fluids in the early stage of CO_(2)injection,alkaline fluids in the late stage of CO_(2)injection,and weak alkaline fluids during oil and gas charging.The mode indicates an increase in-HCO_(3)because of the CO_(2)injection,and the loss of Ca^(2+)and Mg^(2+)due to the precipitation of carbonate minerals.Therefore,the evolutionary mode of diagenetic fluids is in good agreement with high HCO_(3)^(-),low Ca^(2+)and low Mg^(2+)composition of the present formation water in the dawsonite-bearing sandstone.LI Fulai MA Wenkuan ZHANG Chun WANG Kaining 2024Journal of Ocean University of China2024,23,1:0

16Three-Dimensional N-Doped Carbon Nanotube/Graphene Composite Aerogel Anode to Develop High-Power Microbial Fuel Cell显示文摘Optimizing the structure of electrode materials is one of the most effective strategies for designing high-power microbial fuel cells(MFCs).However,electrode materials currently suffer from a series of shortcomings that limit the output of MFCs,such as high intrinsic resistance,poor electrolyte wettability,and low microbial load capacity.Here,a three-dimensional(3D)nitrogen-doped multiwalled carbon nanotube/graphene(N-MWCNT/GA)composite aerogel is synthesized as the anode for MFCs.Comparing nitrogen-doped GA,MWCNT/GA,and N-MWCNT/GA,the macroporous hydrophilic N-MWCNT/GA electrode with an average pore size of 4.24μm enables high-density loading of the microbes and facilitates extracellular electron transfer with low intrinsic resistance.Consequently,the hydrophilic surface of N-MWCNT can generate high charge mobility,enabling a high-power output performance of the MFC.In consequence,the MFC system based on N-MWCNT/GA anode exhibits a peak power density and output voltage of 2977.8 mW m^(−2)and 0.654 V,which are 1.83 times and 16.3%higher than those obtained with MWCNT/GA,respectively.These results demonstrate that 3D N-MWCNT/GA anodes can be developed for high-power MFCs in different environments by optimizing their chemical and microstructures.Shixuan Jin Yiyu Feng Jichao Jia Fulai Zhao Zijie Wu Peng Long Feng Li Huitao Yu Chi Yang Qijing Liu Baocai Zhang Hao Song Wei Feng 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,3:0
17Electroencephalography microstates as novel functional biomarkers for insomnia disorder显示文摘Background Insomnia disorder(ID)is one of the most common mental disorders.Research on ID focuses on exploring its mechanism of disease,novel treatments and treatment outcome prediction.An emerging technique in this field is the use of electroencephalography(EEG)microstates,which offer a new method of EEG feature extraction that incorporates information from both temporal and 6/spatial dimensions.Aims To explore the electrophysiological mechanisms of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)for ID treatment and use baseline microstate metrics for the prediction of its efficacy.Methods This study included 60 patients with ID and 40 age-matched and gender-matched good sleep controls(GSC).Their resting-state EEG microstates were analysed,and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and polysomnography(PSG)were collected to assess sleep quality.The 60 patients with ID were equally divided into active and sham groups to receive rTMS for 20 days to test whether rTMS had a moderating effect on abnormal microstates in patients with ID.Furthermore,in an independent group of 90 patients with ID who received rTMS treatment,patients were divided into optimal and suboptimal groups based on their median PSQI reduction rate.Baseline EEG microstates were used to build a machine-learning predictive model for the effects of rTMS treatment.Results The class D microstate was less frequent and contribute in patients with ID,and these abnormalities were associated with sleep onset latency as measured by PSG.Additinally,the abnormalities were partially reversed to the levels observed in the GSC group following rTMS treatment.The baseline microstate characteristics could predict the therapeutic effect of ID after 20 days of rTMS,with an accuracy of 80.13%.Conclusions Our study highlights the value of EEG microstates as functional biomarkers of ID and provides a new perspective for studying the neurophysiological mechanisms of ID.In addition,we predicted the therapeutic effect of rTMS on ID based on the baseline microstates of patients with ID.This finding carries great practical significance for the selection of therapeutic options for patients with ID.Yongjian Guo Xumeng Zhao Xiaoyang Liu Jiayi Liu Yan Li Lirong Yue Fulai Yuan Yifei Zhu Xiaona Sheng Dahua Yu Kai Yuan 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,6:0
