| 1 | Toxoplasmosis among pregnant women:High seroprevalence and risk factors in Kinshasa,Democratic Republic of Congo显示文摘Objective:To determine the seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis in pregnant women,as well as the proportion of acutely infected and risk factors in the Democratic Republic of Congo.Methods:Thirty maternities in Kinshasa were randomly selected and women attending antenatal consultation were invited to participate.They were interviewed with a structured questionnaire about known risk factors(age,meat consumption,contact with soil,and presence of cat)and a venous blood sample was taken.Sera were analysed for total immunoglobulins(Ig)by VIDAS Toxo Competition using Enzyme Linked Fluorescent Assay.IgM was determined by VIDIA Toxo IgM and IgG avidity by VIDAS Toxo IgG avidity.Results:A total of 781 women were included.Median age was 28 years old(IQR:8.S).And 627women(80.3%;95%CI:77.5-83.1)were found to be positive to total Ig and 17 out of 387(4.4%;95%CI:2.3-6.4)were positive to IgM.IgC avidity was low for 2(11.8%)women,intermediate for 2(11.8%)and high for 13 women(76.4%).There was no statistically significant association between Toxoplasma gondii infection and any risk factors assessed.Conclusion:In Kinshasa,toxoplasmosis endemicity is highly prevalent.One woman out of twenty five had a recent toxoplasmosis infection and 20%were not protected against primoinfection,indicating a need for measures to prevent and control toxoplasmosis during pregnancy. | Doudou Yobi Renaud Piarroux Coralie L'Ollivier Jacqueline Franck Hypolite Situakibanza Hypolite Muhindo Patrick Mitashi Raquel Andreia Inocencio da Luz Marc Van Sprundel Marleen Boelaert Jean-Pierre Van Geertruyden Pascal Lutumba | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2014，4，1： | 2 |

| 4 | A phase field model for snow crystal growth in three dimensions显示文摘Snowflake growth provides a fascinating example of spontaneous pattern formation in nature.Attempts to understand this phenomenon have led to important insights in non-equilibrium dynamics observed in various active scientific fields,ranging from pattern formation in physical and chemical systems,to self-assembly problems in biology.Yet,very few models currently succeed in reproducing the diversity of snowflake forms in three dimensions,and the link between model parameters and thermodynamic quantities is not established.Here,we report a modified phase field model that describes the subtlety of the ice vapour phase transition,through anisotropic water molecules attachment and condensation,surface diffusion,and strong anisotropic surface tension,that guarantee the anisotropy,faceting and dendritic growth of snowflakes.We demonstrate that this model reproduces the growth dynamics of the most challenging morphologies of snowflakes from the Nakaya diagram.We find that the growth dynamics of snow crystals matches the selection theory,consistently with previous experimental observations. | Gilles Demange Helena Zapolsky Renaud Patte Marc Brunel | 2017 | npj Computational Materials2017，，1： | 1 |

| 10 | MP联合沙利度胺、MP和低强度自体干细胞移植治疗老年多发性骨髓瘤(IFM99—06):一项随机试验显示文摘背景对于老年人多发性骨髓瘤,马法兰与泼尼松联合化疗方案(MP)目前仍被认为是标准治疗方案。本试验旨在评价在MP方案的基础上联用沙利度胺或低强度的自体干细胞移植能否提高患者的存活率。
方法从2000年5月22日到2005年8月8日,共招募447例初治多发性骨髓瘤患者,年龄65~75岁,随机接受MP方案(n=196)、MP联合沙利度胺方案(MPT,n=125)或低强度(马法兰,100mg/m^2)的自体干细胞移植方案(MEL100,n=126)。主要终点为总体存活率。采用意向治疗分析。本试验已在ClinicalTrials.gov注册,注册号为NCT00367185。
结果中位随访51.5个月(IQR34.4~63.2),中位总体存活时间:MP组为33.2个月(13.8~54.8),MPT组为51.6个月(26.6~未到达),MELl00组为38.3个月(13.0~61.6)。在中位总体存活率方面,MPT方案优于MP方案(HR0.59,95%C10.46~0.81:P=0.0006)或MEL100方案(HR0.69,95%C10.49~0.96;P=0.027)。而MEL100方案和MP方案无差异(HR0.86,95%C10.65~1.15;P=0.32)。
