Progress of the key materials for organic solar cells显示文摘Organic solar cells have attracted academic and industrial interests due to the advantages like lightweight, flexibility and roll-to-roll fabrication.Nowadays,18%power conversion efficiency has been achieved in the state-of-the-art organic solar cells. The recent rapid progress in organic solar cells relies on the continuously emerging new materials and device fabrication technologies, and the deep understanding on film morphology, molecular packing and device physics.Donor and acceptor materials are the key materials for organic solar cells since they determine the device performance. The past 25 years have witnessed an odyssey in developing high-performance donors and acceptors. In this review,we focus on those star materials and milestone work, and introduce the molecular structure evolution of key materials. These key materials include homopolymer donors,D-A copolymer donors,A-D-A small molecular donors, fullerene acceptors and nonfullerene acceptors. At last,we outlook the challenges and very important directions in key materials development. | Yang Tong Zuo Xiao Xiaoyan Du Chuantian Zuo Yuelong Li Menglan Lv Yongbo Yuan Chenyi Yi Feng Hao Yong Hua Ting Lei Qianqian Lin Kuan Sun Dewei Zhao Chunhui Duan Xiangfeng Shao Wei Li Hin-Lap Yip Zhengguo Xiaol Bin Zhang Qingzhen Bian Yuanhang Cheng Shengjian Liu Ming Cheng Zhiwen Jin Shangfeng Yang Liming Ding | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020,63,6: | 15
Confining shell-sandwiched Ag clusters in MnO_(2)-CeO_(2)hollow spheres to boost activity and stability of toluene combustion显示文摘Supported noble metal catalysts have the promising application in volatile organic compounds(VOCs)catalytic combustion but suffer from the deactivation due to noble metal sintering at high temperatures.Herein,we report the construction of shellsandwiched MnO_(2)-Ag-CeO_(2)hollow spheres with remarkable sintering resistance and high activity in toluene combustion.Ag clusters were sandwiched between outer MnO_(2)and inner CeO_(2)shell to enlarge and stabilize metal–support active interface. The unique hollow structure could alter the electronic states of catalysts sites and increase the adsorbed site of reactant molecules.Meanwhile,Mn–Ag–Ce multi-interfaces in MnO_(2)-Ag-CeO_(2)could facilitate the sustainable activation and the stable release of oxygen species via a tandem transfer. The oxygen species at Ag–Mn interface perimeter were instantly replenished by Ag–Ce interface to accelerate a deep oxidation of intermediates, guaranteeing the opening of benzene ring to generate maleic anhydride. This investigation provides a promising method for constructing efficient and sintering-resistant cluster catalysts for VOCs oxidation. | Menglan Xiao Xueqin Yang Yue Peng Yucong Guo Yuechang Wei Maofa Ge Xiaolin Yu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,8: | 4
Effects of supports and combined process on hydrogen purification over nickel supported catalysts显示文摘Hydrogen purification must be done to meet the different purposes of hydrogen utilization. In the present work,it is confirmed that the catalyst Ni/CeO2 has the highest activity for total methanation(Total MET) of CO and CO2,and is thus most suitable for hydrogen purification for ammonia synthesis. While, the catalyst Ni/ZrO2 appears the best one for selective methanation of CO(CO-SMET) in the H2-rich gas to produce clean fuel for proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC).In spite of this, the catalyst Ni/ZrO2 without adding chlorine ions as promoter is not yet capable of removing the CO in the reformate gas to below 10 ppm in a wide reaction temperature range by the way of CO-SMET.Adding chlorine ions as promoter is indeed not favorable for practical application due to its gradual loss in the catalytic reaction as proved in our previous work. Therefore,a step to decrease CO2 concentration(called as de-CO2 step) is suggested to be set prior to the CO-SMET step in this work.It is proved that such combination of de-CO2 step and CO-SMET step is efficient to achieve a deep removal of CO to below 10 ppm with a high selectivity more than 50% in a wide reaction temperature range of 220-280℃over the catalyst Ni/ZrO2 without adding chlorine ions as promoter. The combined process has potential for practical application,at least in the large-scale power plant of PEMFC. | Menglan Xiao Lu Zhang Yanyan Sang Zhiming Gao | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,1: | 2
Insight into leaching of rare earth and aluminum from ion adsorption type rare earth ore:Adsorption and desorption显示文摘Clay minerals are inferred to be the primary host materials for ion-exchangeable rare earth in ion adsorption type rare earth ore(IAREO).During the rare earth leaching process, the adsorption and desorption reactions of the cations controlling the leaching process continue to occur at the clay minerals-leaching agent solution interface. In order to understand the leaching mechanism and behavior of rare earth and co-leached aluminum, adsorption, competitive adsorption, and desorption experiments were carried out using kaolin as a typical clay mineral. The powerful electrostatic attraction and concentration driving forces facilitate the adsorption of cations. The adsorption ability and competitive adsorption ability of cations depend on their charge, hydration radius, and hydrolysis properties, and decrease in the order of La^(3+),Y^(3+),Al^(3+),Mg^(2+),and NH_(4)^(+).The desorption of rare earth and aluminum is positively affected by the concentration-driving force exerted by high concentrations of Mg^(2+) and NH_(4)^(+),with the order of the desorption ability being opposite to the adsorption ability. However, unspecified interactions between clay mineral particles enhanced by high-concentration desorbents, especially by Mg^(2+) than NH_(4)^(+),will adversely affect desorption reactions, which result in lower desorption efficiencies of rare earth and aluminum obtained with magnesium sulfate compared to those obtained with ammonium sulfate at high concentrations.Solid-phase Al(OH)_(3) generated at a high peak aluminum concentration leads to a considerably delayed aluminum efflux, thereby partially separating the rare earth from aluminum during the actual column leaching process. To advance the mining technology of IAREO by selectively improving the rare earth leaching efficiency with minimal leaching agent consumption, higher charged cations with concentrations limited to suitable levels should be preferred as leaching agents. | Qiang He Jinfa Chen Limei Gan Menglan Gao Miaomiao Zan Yanfei Xiao | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,9: | 0
Influence of water and rock particle contents on the shear behaviour of a SRM显示文摘The contents of both water and rock particles are important factors affecting the mechanical strength of a soil–rock mixture(SRM)filled subgrade in the western mountainous area of China. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study the mechanisms of reconstituted landslide deposit samples with different water and rock particle contents by analysing the characteristics of shear strength, volumetric strain and‘jumping’phenomenon via large-scale direct shear tests. The results show that the influence of water content on shear strength is greater than the influence of rock particle content under a lower normal stress, and the results are reversed in the case of a higher normal stress. The effect of water content on the equivalent cohesion is bigger, especially for the sample with a high rock particle content. The friction angle of the specimen with same water content increases with the increasing rock particle content, but when the number of rock particles increases to a certain extent, there is a little effect on the friction angle. However, the friction angle decreases with increasing water content at the same rock particle content.Specimens with the same rock particle content change from dilation to compression with increasing water content. Finally, the continuous stage of the‘intense jumping’at different water content has been analysed. The‘jumping’phenomenon of samples with low water and rock particle content will first strengthen and then weaken the samples with increasing normal stress. | Longqi Liu Xuesong Mao Yajun Xiao Tiequan Wang Menglan Nie | 2020 | Transportation Safety and Environment2020,2,1: | 0
