| 1 | Minimally invasive liver resection for huge(≥10cm)tumors:an international multicenter matched cohort study with regression discontinuity analyses显示文摘Background:The application and feasibility of minimally invasive liver resection(MILR)for huge liver tumours(≥10 cm)has not been well documented.Methods:Retrospective analysis of data on 6,617 patients who had MILR for liver tumours were gathered from 21 international centers between 2009-2019.Huge tumors and large tumors were defined as tumors with a size≥10.0 cm and 3.0-9.9 cm based on histology,respectively.1:1 coarsened exact-matching(CEM)and 1:2 Mahalanobis distance-matching(MDM)was performed according to clinically-selected variables.Regression discontinuity analyses were performed as an additional line of sensitivity analysis to estimate local treatment effects at the 10-cm tumor size cutoff.Results:Of 2,890 patients with tumours≥3 cm,there were 205 huge tumors.After 1:1 CEM,174 huge tumors were matched to 174 large tumors;and after 1:2 MDM,190 huge tumours were matched to 380 large tumours.There was significantly and consistently increased intraoperative blood loss,frequency in the application of Pringle maneuver,major morbidity and postoperative stay in the huge tumour group compared to the large tumour group after both 1:1 CEM and 1:2 MDM.These findings were reinforced in RD analyses.Intraoperative blood transfusion rate and open conversion rate were significantly higher in the huge tumor group after only 1:2 MDM but not 1:1 CEM.Conclusions:MILR for huge tumours can be safely performed in expert centers It is an operation with substantial complexity and high technical requirement,with worse perioperative outcomes compared to MILR for large tumors,therefore judicious patient selection is pivotal. | Tan-To Cheung Xiaoying Wang Mikhail Efanov Rong Liu David Fuks Gi-Hong Choi Nicholas LSyn Charing CChong Iswanto Sucandy Adrian KHChiow Marco VMarino Mikel Gastaca Jae Hoon Lee TPeter Kingham Mathieu D’Hondt Sung Hoon Choi Robert PSutcliffe Ho-Seong Han Chung Ngai Tang Johann Pratschke Roberto ITroisi Brian KPGoh International Robotic and Laparoscopic Liver Resection Study Group Collaborators | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021,10,5: | 1 |

| 8 | Influence of the operating temperature on the ageing and interfaces of double layer polymer electrolyte solid state Li metal batteries显示文摘Solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs)are considered an auspicious technology to develop high energy density and safe energy storage devices.The double layer polymer electrolyte(DLPE)is a rational approach for engineering high-performance SSLMBs addressing electrolyte requirements with specifically designed polymers at the positive electrode and as separator.In this work,SSLMBs were assembled with poly(propylene carbonate)(PPC),offering stability toward oxidation at the positive electrode,and a gel polymer electrolyte with polyethyleneglycol dimethylether(PEGDME)as separator,offering high ionic conductivity at low temperature and sufficient interfacial stability with Li metal.The electrochemical properties and performance of cells with LiFePO_(4) and Li[Ni_(0.6)Mn_(0.2)Co_(0.2)]O_(2) positive electrodes are thoroughly investigated as function of the operating temperature by using a host of characterization techniques.High-voltage cells with an areal capacity of 0.7 mAh·cm^(−2)cycled at 40℃ exhibit a higher capacity retention than the cells cycled at 70℃.To understand such differences,a three-electrode setup is applied to discriminate anodic processes from cathodic as function of the temperature.We elucidate the ageing and interfacial evolution for DLPE cells with gel polymer electrolytes paving the way for building performance solid state batteries. | Mikel Arrese-Igor María Martinez-Ibañez Ander Orue Ekaterina Pavlenko Erwan Dumont Michel Armand Frédéric Aguesse Pedro López Aranguren | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,6: | 0 |

| 10 | Exercise training-induced changes in exerkine concentrations may be relevant to the metabolic control of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients:A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Background:This study investigates the effects of exercise training on exerkines in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to determine the optimal exercise prescription.Methods:A systematic search for relevant studies was performed in 3 databases.Randomized controlled trials investigating the effects of exercise training on at least one of the following exerkines were included:adiponectin,apelin,brain-derived neurotrophic factor,fetuin-A,fibroblast growth factor-21,follistatin,ghrelin,interleukin(IL)-6,IL-8,IL-10,IL-15,IL-18,leptin,myostatin,omentin,resistin,retinol-binding protein 4,tumor necrosis factor-α,and visfatin.Results:Forty randomized controlled trials were selected for data extraction(n=2160).Exercise training induces changes in adiponectin,fetuin-A,fibroblast growth factor-21,IL-6,IL-10,leptin,resistin,and tumor necrosis factor-a levels but has no significant effects on apelin,IL-18,and ghrelin compared to controls.Physical exercise training favored large and positive changes in pooled exerkines(i.e.,an overall effect size calculated from several exerkine s)(Hedge’s g=1.02,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.76-1.28),which in turn were related to changes in glycated hemoglobin(mean difference(MD)=-0.81%,95%CI:-0.95%to-0.67%),fasting glucose(MD=-23.43 mg/dL,95%CI:-30.07 mg/dL to-16.80 mg/dL),waist circumference(MD=-3.04 cm,95%CI:-4.02 cm to-2.07 cm),and body mass(MD=-1.93 kg,95%CI:-2.00 kg to-1.86 kg).Slightly stronger effects were observed with aerobic,resistance,or high-intensity interval protocols at moderate-to vigorous-intensity and with programs longer than 24 weeks that comprise at least 3 sessions per week and more than 60 min per session.Conclusion:Exercise training represents an anti-inflammatory therapy and metabolism-improving strategy with minimal side effects for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. | Antonio García-Hermoso Robinson Ramírez-Vélez Javier Díez Arantxa González Mikel Izquierdo | 2023 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2023,12,2: | 0 |
