| 1 | Effect of acupotomy on nitric oxide synthase and beta-endorphin in third lumbar vertebrae transverse process syndrome model rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the long-term effects and pain relief mechanism of acupotomy by observing changes in nitric oxide synthase(NOS) and beta-endorphin(β-EP) in the hypothalamus, spinal cord,and peripheral blood of rats with third lumbar vertebrae(L3) transverse process syndrome.METHODS:Twenty-eight SD rats were randomly assigned to normal, model, electroacupuncture(EA),and acupotomy group. The last three groups were put through an operation to emulate L3transverse process syndrome. Fourteen days after the simulation operation, EA and acupotomy treatments were applied to the respective groups. Fifty-six days afterthe simulation operation, biochemistry tests and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were used to measure NOS and β-EP in the hypothalamus, spinal cord, and peripheral blood.RESULTS: Rats with the simulation operation showed significantly higher levels of NOS and β-EP in the hypothalamus, spinal cord, and peripheral blood than those in the normal group. | 2 | Fixed-time adaptive model reference sliding mode control for an air-to-ground missile显示文摘This paper addresses the fixed-time adaptive model reference sliding mode control for an air-to-ground missile associated with large speed ranges, mismatched disturbances and un-modeled dynamics. Firstly, a sliding mode surface is developed by the tracking error of the state equation and the model reference state equation with respect to the air-to-ground missile. More specifically,a novel fixed-time adaptive reaching law is presented. Subsequently, the mismatched disturbances and the un-modeled dynamics are treated as the model errors of the state equation. These model errors are estimated by means of a fixed-time disturbance observer, and they are also utilized to compensate the proposed controller. Therefore, the fixed-time controller is obtained by an adaptive reaching law and a fixed-time disturbance observer. Closed-loop stability of the proposed controller is established. | 3 | An Elasto-plastic Damage Constitutive Theory Based on Pair Functional Potentials and Slip Mechanism显示文摘The deformation work rate can be expressed by the time rate of pair functional potentials which describe the energy of materials in terms of atomic bonds and atom embedding interactions.According to Cauchy-Born rule,the relations between the microscopic deformations of atomic bonds and electron gas and macroscopic deformation are established.Further,atomic bonds are grouped according to their directions,and atomic bonds in the same direction are simplified as a spring-bundle component.Atom embedding interactions in unit reference volume are simplified as a cubage component.Consequently,a material model composed of spring-bundle components and a cubage component is established.Since the essence of damage is the decrease and loss of atomic bonding forces,the damage effect can be reflected by the response functions of these two kinds of components.Formulating the mechanical responses of two kinds of components,the corresponding elasto-damage constitutive equations are derived.Considering that slip is the main plastic deformation mechanism of polycrystalline metals,the slip systems of crystal are extended to polycrystalline,and the slip components are proposed to describe the plastic deformation.Based on the decomposition of deformation gradient and combining the plastic response with the elasto-damage one,the elasto-plastic damage constitutive equations are derived.As a result,a material model formulated with spring-bundle components,a cubage component and slip components is established.Different from phenomenological constitutive theories,the mechanical property of materials depends on the property of components rather than that directly obtained on the representative volume element.The effect of finite deformation is taken into account in this model.Parameter calibration procedure and the basic characteristics of this model are discussed. | Liu Fang Fu Qiang Chen Cen Liang Naigang | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2010,23,6: | 4 |
| 4 | The elasto-damage theory of the components assembling model显示文摘The potential energy in materials is well approximated by pair functional which is composed of pair potentials and embedding energy. During calculating material potential energy, the orientational component and the volumetric component are derived respectively from pair potentials and embedding energy. The sum of energy of all these two kinds of components is the material potential. No matter how microstructures change, damage or fracture, at the most level, they are all the changing and breaking atomic bonds. As an abstract of atomic bonds, these components change their stiffness during damaging. Material constitutive equations have been formulated by means of assembling all components' response functions. This material model is called the component assembling model. | 6 | A Tracking Filter in Spherical Coordinates Enhanced by De-noising of Converted Doppler Measurements显示文摘Tracking problem in spherical coordinates with range rate (Doppler) measurements, which would have errors correlated to the range measurement errors, is investigated in this paper. The converted Doppler measurements, constructed by the product of the Doppler measurements and range measurements, are used to replace the original Doppler measurements. A de-noising method based on an unbiased Kalman filter (KF) is proposed to reduce the converted Doppler measurement errors before updating the target states for the constant velocity (CV) model. The states from the de-noising filter are then combined with the Cartesian states from the converted measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) to produce final state estimates. The nonlinearity of the de-noising filter states are handled by expanding them around the Cartesian states from the CMKF in a Taylor series up to the second order term. In the mean time, the correlation between the two filters caused by the common range measurements is handled by a minimum mean squared error (MMSE) estimation-based method. These result in a new tracking filter, CMDN-EKF2. | 16 | On band gaps of nonlocal acoustic lattice metamaterials:a robust strain gradient model显示文摘We have proposed an'exact'strain gradient(SG)continuum model to properly predict the dispersive characteristics of diatomic lattice metamaterials with local and nonlocal interactions.The key enhancement is proposing a wavelength-dependent Taylor expansion to obtain a satisfactory accuracy when the wavelength gets close to the lattice spacing.Such a wavelength-dependent Taylor expansion is applied to the displacement field of the diatomic lattice,resulting in a novel SG model.For various kinds of diatomic lattices,the dispersion diagrams given by the proposed SG model always agree well with those given by the discrete model throughout the first Brillouin zone,manifesting the robustness of the present model.Based on this SG model,we have conducted the following discussions.(Ⅰ)Both mass and stiffness ratios affect the band gap structures of diatomic lattice metamaterials,which is very helpful for the design of metamaterials.(Ⅱ)The increase in the SG order can enhance the model performance if the modified Taylor expansion is adopted.Without doing so,the higher-order continuum model can suffer from a stronger instability issue and does not necessarily have a better accuracy.The proposed SG continuum model with the eighth-order truncation is found to be enough to capture the dispersion behaviors all over the first Brillouin zone.(Ⅲ)The effects of the nonlocal interactions are analyzed.The nonlocal interactions reduce the workable range of the well-known long-wave approximation,causing more local extrema in the dispersive diagrams.The present model can serve as a satisfactory continuum theory when the wavelength gets close to the lattice spacing,i.e.,when the long-wave approximation is no longer valid.For the convenience of band gap designs,we have also provided the design space from which one can easily obtain the proper mass and stiffness ratios corresponding to a requested band gap width. | Binying WANG Jinxing LIU A.K.SOH Naigang LIANG | 2022 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,1: | 1 |
