| 3 | Spatial-temporal patterns of China's interprovincial migration, 1985-2010显示文摘Migration plays an increasing role in China's economy since mobility rose and economic restructuring has proceeded during the last three decades. Given the background of most studies focusing on migration in a particular period, there is a critical need to analyze the spatial-temporal patterns of migration. Using bicomponent trend mapping technique and interprovincial migration data during the periods 1985–1990, 1990–1995, 1995–2000, 2000– 2005, and 2005–2010 we analyze net-, in-, out-migration intensity, and their changes over time in this study. Strong spatial variations in migration intensity were found in China's interprovincial migration, and substantial increase in migration intensity was also detected in eastern China during 1985–2010. Eight key destinations are mostly located within the three rapidly growing economic zones of eastern China(Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Metropolitan Region), and they are classified into three types: mature, emerging, and fluctuant origins, while most key origins are relatively undeveloped central and western provinces, which are exactly in accordance with China's economic development patterns. The results of bicomponent trend mapping indicate that, in a sense, the migration in the south was more active than the north over the last three decades. The result shows the new changing features of spatial-temporal patterns of China's interprovincial migration that Fan and Chen did not find out in their research. | 4 | An experimental and numerical study of the freak wave speed显示文摘The propagation speed is one of the most important characteristics for describing freak waves. The research of freak wave speed is not only helpful for understanding the generation mechanism and evolution process of freak waves, but also applicable to the prediction. A stable and accurate method is proposed for the calculation of the freak wave speed, in which physical model tests are carried out to measure the motion of the largest wave crest along the wave tank. The linear regression relationship between the spatial position of the largest wave crest and instantaneous moment is established to calculate the speed of totally 248 cases of experimental freak waves and 312 supplementary cases of numerical freak waves. | 5 | 基塘水面空间形态度量方法的比较与应用显示文摘中国拥有丰富的基塘景观。基塘水面作为基塘的主要部分,其空间形态关乎基塘经济、生态效益的发挥。为此,该研究旨在探寻能用于准确分析基塘水面空间形态的度量方法。该研究首先通过6个不同类型基塘水面样例,比较多个度量方法的有效性,据此选出合适方法;然后以珠三角的佛山市杏坛镇为研究区,将该方法用于分析区内基塘水面的空间形态特征及差异。研究结果表明:加权聚合邻近度(Weighted Aggregation and Closeness,WAC)指数对不同形态的度量结果相差10%以上,比其他15个常用度量方法更能有效地区分出规则塘和不规则塘的空间形态差异。研究区中,以整治后基塘为代表的规则塘的WAC均值比以未整治基塘为代表的不规则塘高40.18%,说明空间形态更加紧凑。规则塘空间形态在不同区域的差异较小;不规则塘的差异大于15%,在边缘位置的更为零碎。该研究为进一步探明不同基塘水面的形态特征与基塘经济、生态效益的关系奠定基础,同时也为分析其他不连接地理要素的空间形态提供应用参考。 | 周晋皓 黄晓峻 Xiao Ningchuan 林泽铭 罗漫琪 | 2021 | 农业工程学报2021,37,17: | 2 |
| 6 | Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Submarine Composite Pipeline in a Wave-Current Coexisting Field显示文摘-A composite pipeline is defined as a pipeline system composed of one big pipe and one or several small pipes. Based on the theory of wave- current interaction and physical model test, the hydrodynamic characteristics of the submarine composite pipeline in wave-current coexisting field (both regular and irregular waves) are investigated. The so-called 'modified diameter method' is used for analyzing the in-fine hydrodynamic coefficients of the composite pipeline, which are well related to KC number. The comparison of test data for regular and irregular waves shows that in the region of 90 > KC> 20, the results in these two cases can be unified. The effect of water depth is analyzed in details. | 7 | An efficient focusing model for generation of freak waves显示文摘Based on the Longuet-Higgins wave model theory, the previews studies have shown that freak waves can be generated in finite space and time successfully. However, as to generating high nonlinear freak waves, the simulation results will be unrealistic. Therefore, a modified phase modulation method for simulating high nonlinear freak waves was developed. The surface elevations of some wave components at certain time and place are positive by modulating the corresponding random initial phases, then the total surface elevation at the focused point is enhanced and furthermore a freak wave event is generated. The new method can not only make the freak wave occur at certain time and place, but also make the simulated wave surface time series satisfy statistical properties of the realistic sea state and keep identical with the target wave spectrum. | 8 | Experimental study on the wave loads of twin-plate breakwaterunder oblique waves显示文摘In this study, systematic physical model tests were performed to investigate the wave forces on the twin-plate breakwater under irregular waves. Based on the experimental results, the effects of the relative plate width B/L,wave height Hs/D and incident angle θ0 on the wave forces were analyzed and discussed. The results showed that:(1) The envelopes of the total wave pressure were generally symmetrical along the direction of plate width under the incident angles(θ0) being 0°, 15°, 30°, 45° and 60°. | 16 | A large-scale wave-current coupled module with wave diffraction effect on unstructured meshes显示文摘Based on the extended mild-slope equation,a large-scale wave module is developed.By combining the eikonal equation and the modified wave action equation,the wave model can account for diffraction in most situations such as in the lee of islands and breakwaters,and using unstructured meshes provides great flexibility for modelling the wave in the complex geomorphology of barriers and islands,also allowing for refinement of the grid resolution within computationally important domains.The numerical implementation of the module is based on the explicit second-order upwind finite-volume schemes in geographic space,the Flux-Corrected Transport(FCT)algorithm in frequency space and the implicit Crank-Nicolson method in directional space.The three-dimensional hydrodynamic module is then modified to couple with the wave model,where the wave readily provides the depth-dependent radiation stress and the wave-induced turbulence coefficient for the current fields,and the wave propagation takes into account the current-induced advection,refraction and diffraction of wave energy and the effect of water level.The applicability of the proposed model to calculate Snell’s Law,wave transformation over the breakwaters and the elliptic shoal,wave propagation over the rip current field and the undertow on a sloping beach is evaluated.Numerical results show that the present model makes better predictions of the near-shore wave propagation and complex three-dimensional(3D)near-shore circulation driven by the waves,considering analytical solutions and experimental values. | WANG Ping ZHANG NingChuan | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,7: | 1 |
