| 4 | Surrogate modeling for long-term and high-resolution prediction of building thermal load with a metric-optimized KNN algorithm显示文摘During the pre-design stage of buildings,reliable long-term prediction of thermal loads is significant for cool-ing/heating system configuration and efficient operation.This paper proposes a surrogate modeling method to predict all-year hourly cooling/heating loads in high resolution for retail,hotel,and office buildings.16384 surrogate models are simulated in EnergyPlus to generate the load database,which contains 7 crucial building features as inputs and hourly loads as outputs.K-nearest-neighbors(KNN)is chosen as the data-driven algorithm to approximate the surrogates for load prediction.With test samples from the database,performances of five different spatial metrics for KNN are evaluated and optimized.Results show that the Manhattan distance is the optimal metric with the highest efficient hour rates of 93.57%and 97.14%for cooling and heating loads in office buildings.The method is verified by predicting the thermal loads of a given district in Shanghai,China.The mean absolute percentage errors(MAPE)are 5.26%and 6.88%for cooling/heating loads,respectively,and 5.63%for the annual thermal loads.The proposed surrogate modeling method meets the precision requirement of engineering in the building pre-design stage and achieves the fast prediction of all-year hourly thermal loads at the district level.As a data-driven approximation,it does not require as much detailed building information as the commonly used physics-based methods.And by pre-simulation of sufficient prototypical models,the method overcomes the gaps of data missing in current data-driven methods. | Yumin Liang Yiqun Pan Xiaolei Yuan Wenqi Jia Zhizhong Huang | 2023 | Energy and Built Environment2023,4,6: | 1 |

| 7 | Fabricating a smart clothing system based on strain-sensing yarn and novel stitching technology for health monitoring显示文摘Various yarn-shaped flexible strain sensors have recently been developed.However,research is lacking on additive manufacturing for smart clothing for integrating yarn sensors with commercial garments.Herein,a strain-sensing yarn is sewn into a piece of fabric through a novel stitching technique,and the influence of the stitching method and needle pitch on the sensing performance is investigated using finite element analysis(FEA).The sensing performance could be improved when the sensing yarn is self-locked in the fabric at the needle eyes,and the needle pitch was reduced to 0.5 cm,which is attributed to the enhanced stress and strain concentration.Meanwhile,the composite sensing fabric featured outstanding performance,including a low detection limit(0.1%),rapid response(280 ms),excellent durability(10000 cycles),and high stability(negligible drift and frequency independence).In addition,the remarkable wear resistance,washability,and anti-interference to ambient humidity and perspiration were obtained.Therein,the optimal stitch trace lengths of sensing yarn for detecting elbow motion,breathing,and heartbeats are discussed.Finally,a smart clothing system composed of smart clothing,data acquisition unit,and mobile APP was developed to simultaneously detect human movement and physiological signals.This work provides a reference to produce intelligent garments based on yarn sensors for health monitoring. | TANG Jian WU YuTing MA ShiDong ZHANG YuMin XU RuoJie YAN Tao PAN ZhiJuan | 2024 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Surgical treatment effects in cancer of the cardia and esophagogastric junction显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the treatment effects of total gastrectomy (TG) and proximal gastrectomy (PG) for cancer of the cardia and esophagogastric junction. Methods: forty-five patients with cancer of the cardia and esophagogastric junc- tion underwent surgical resection. Of them, 29 were treated using proximal gastrectomy and 16 total gastrectomy. The 3-year and 5-year survival rate and the postoperative complication rate and mortality rate were followed up and compared between the two groups. Results: The 3-year and 5-year survival rates of group PG were 44.8% and 20.7%, of group TG were 37.5% and 18.8%, respectively, and the differences were not statistically significant (χ2 = 3.84, P > 0.05; χ2 = 3.89, P > 0.05). The postoperative complication and mortality rate of group PG were 13.7% and 6.8%, of group TG was all 6%, respectively. | 9 | Effects of Different Sowing and Transplanting Time on Quality and Economic Benefit of Tobacco Variety Yunyan 105显示文摘In order to provide references for popularization and application of tobacco variety Yunyan 105,a field experiment was conducted to explore the effects of different sowing and transplanting time on agronomic traits,economic benefit and quality of Yunyan 105. Results showed that the agronomic characters,quality traits and economic benefit of the tobacco were relatively fine with sowing time February 4-14 and transplanting time April 1-10. Index scores of the physical properties of tobacco leaves were greater than 80 scores with sowing time February 14 and transplanting time April 10. The comprehensive index of conventional chemical compositions was 0. 39-0. 73. The harmony of conventional chemical compositions of lower leaves was the best with the comprehensive index of 0. 59 when the sowing time and transplanting time were February 4 and April 1 respectively. As for the middle and upper leaves the comprehensive indexes were respectively 0. 71 and 0. 73 with the sowing time February 14 and transplanting time April 10. The sensory evaluation of smoking quality and economic benefit were February 14 sowing and April 10 transplanting better,its taste of the tobacco leaves was pure and mild,the irritancy and the strength was less,the aftertaste was better,and the output value reached the highest 4 271. 17 yuan/667 m^2. The various sowing and transplanting time had no significant influence on appearance quality of tobacco leaves.
