1Mushroom Poisoning Outbreaks-China,2020显示文摘What is already known about this topic?Acute liver failure,rhabdomyolysis,acute renal failure,and hemolysis caused by poisonous mushrooms are the most important mushroom poisoning threats to the Chinese population.The most notorious lethal mushrooms are the species from genera Amanita,Lepiota,and Galerina that cause acute liver failure,and Russula subnigricans that leads to rhabdomyolysis.What is added by this report?In 2020,the total number of investigations reached 676,involving an estimated 102 species of poisonous mushrooms,24 of which were newly recorded in China.Gyromitra venenata was newly discovered in incidents in Yunnan and Guizhou provinces and were the first reported poisonings due to gyromitrins in China since 2000.The rare poisoning Shiitake mushroom dermatitis was recorded in China.Hemolysis poisoning caused by Paxillus involutus was recorded for the second time since the beginning of the new century,resulting in one death in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.What are the implications for public health practice?Promoting knowledge about safe consumption of mushrooms is essential to reduce mushroom poisonings.It is not wise to collect and eat wild mushrooms.For southwestern provinces such as Yunnan,especially,caution must be exercised with unfamiliar mushroom species.Haijiao Li Hongshun Zhang Yizhe Zhang Jing Zhou Yu Yin Qian He Shaofeng Jiang Peibin Ma Yutao Zhang Ke Wen Yuan Yuan Nan Lang Bowen Cheng Junjia Lu Chengye Sun 2021China CDC weekly2021,3,3:13

3Mushroom Poisoning Outbreaks — China, 2021显示文摘Summary What is already known about this topic?Mushroom poisoning is one of the most serious food safety issues in China.Most poisoning incidents resulted from eating mushrooms causing gastroenteritis and psycho-neurological disorder from which patients usually could fully recover.Most deaths resulted from species causing acute liver failure and rhabdomyolysis,and the remaining deaths were attributed to acute renal failure and hemolysis.What is added by this report?In 2021,the total number of investigations was 327 from 25 provincial-level administrative divisions,involving 923 patients and 20 deaths,and the overall mortality was 2.17%.Overall,74 poisonous mushrooms causing 6 different clinical syndromes were successfully identified,15 of which were newly recorded in China as poisonous mushrooms.What are the implications for public health practice?Considering the potential huge risks for collecting and eating wild mushrooms,we strongly advise not collecting and eating unfamiliar wild mushrooms.Promoting knowledge about poisonous mushrooms is essential and urgent to reduce mushroom poisonings.Precise species identification timely after mushroom poisoning is important for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.Many deaths were ascribed to delayed hospitalization.Haijiao Li Hongshun Zhang Yizhe Zhang Jing Zhou Yu Yin Qian He Shaofeng Jiang Peibin Ma Yutao Zhang Yuan Yuan Nan Lang Bowen Cheng Mei Wang Chengye Sun 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,3:7
4Characteristics of strong motions and damage implications of M_s6.5 Ludian earthquake on August 3,2014显示文摘The Ludian County of Yunnan Province in southwestern China was struck by an MS6.5 earthquake on August 3, 2014, which was another destructive event following the MS8.0 Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, MS7.1 Yushu earthquake in 2010, and MS7.0 Lushan earthquake in 2013. National Strong-Motion Observation Network System of China collected 74 strong motion recordings,which the maximum peak ground acceleration recorded by the 053 LLT station in Longtoushan Town was 949 cm/s2 in E–W component. The observed PGAs and spectral ordinates were compared with ground-motion prediction equation in China and the NGA-West2 developed by Pacific Earthquake Engineering Researcher Center. This earthquake is considered as the first case for testing applicability of NGA-West2 in China. Results indicate that the observed PGAs and the 5 % damped pseudo-response spectral accelerations are significantly lower than the predicted ones. 7Comparison of strong-motion records and damage implications between the 2014 Yunnan M_S6.5 Ludian earthquake and M_S6.6 Jinggu earthquake显示文摘Serial destructive earthquakes have caused heavy casualties and economic losses to the city in southwestern of China. The Ludian M_s 6.5 earthquake and the Jinggu M_s6.6 earthquake occurred in Yunnan province in 2014. There is a question of why the two events with almost the same level of magnitude caused differences in earthquake damage. To understand the uniqueness of the phenomenon,this paper focuses on the characteristics of the ground motions and post-earthquake field investigation for the two events.Firstly, we present an overview of the residuals between the Ludian earthquake and the Jinggu earthquake based on the YW06 Ground Motion Prediction Equation(GMPE), and explain the unusual destructiveness of the strong ground motion. Then we analyze the ground motion recordings at selected typical station, based on the strong motion parameters: equivalent predominant frequency and Arias intensity. The result exhibits a good agreement with the Chinese seismic intensity scale. 14The Unusual AGN Host NGC 1266:Evidence for Shocks in a Molecular Gas Rich S0 Galaxy with a Low Luminosity Nucleus显示文摘NGC 1266 is a lenticular galaxy(S0)hosting an active galactic nucleus(AGN),and known to contain a large amount of shocked gas.We compare the luminosity ratio of mid-J CO lines to IR continuum with star-forming galaxies(SFGs),and then model the CO spectral line energy distribution(SLED).We confirm that in the mid-and high-J regions(J_(up)=4-13),the C-type shock(v_(s)=25 km s^(-1),n_(H)=5×10^(4)cm^(-3))can reproduce the CO observations well.The galaxy spectral energy distribution(SED)is constructed and modeled by the code X-CIGALE and obtains a set of physical parameters including the star formation rate(SFR,1.17±0.47 M_(⊙)yr^(-1)).Also,our work provides SFR derivation of[C II]from the neutral hydrogen regions only(1.38±0.14 M_(⊙)yr^(-1)).Previous studies have illusive conclusions on the AGN or starburst nature of the NGC 1266 nucleus.Our SED model shows that the hidden AGN in the system is intrinsically low-luminosity,consequently the infrared luminosity of the AGN does not reach the expected level.Archival data from Nu STAR hard X-ray observations in the 3-79 keV band shows a marginal detection,disfavoring presence of an obscured luminous AGN and implying that a compact starburst is more likely dominant for the NGC 1266 nucleus.Peibin Chen Yinghe Zhao Junfeng Wang 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,1:0
15Breakdown path control by barrier effect for improving withstand characteristics of air-insulated gaps under alternating voltages显示文摘A polymer barrier inserted in the interelectrode gap can significantly improve the insu-lation performance of air-insulated high-voltage electrical equipment.With the devel-opment of power equipment towards integration and miniaturisation,multiple barriers can be used to further increase the insulation level.This paper investigated the withstand characteristics of the air-insulated rod-rod gap with multiple barriers by changing the barrier numbers,the barrier position and the barrier insertion direction.Four control modes were set up based on the assumed breakdown paths under alternating voltages.It was found that the control modes with barriers inserted from the opposite direction had a more significant improvement effect than that from the same direction.When the hor-izontal barrier position was closer to the electrode and the vertical barrier position was farther to the electrode axis,the breakdown voltage was higher.The vertical barrier position was a key factor affecting the probability of breakdown path type,and the breakdown voltages along different types of breakdown paths were almost the same when the barriers were at the same position.The increase of the breakdown voltage was mainly resulted from the change of electric field distribution in the insulated gap and the extension of the breakdown path length.Yuesheng Zheng Peibin Zhang Yilong Wang Tongtong He 2022High Voltage2022,7,4:0
16Dual cation doping enabling simultaneously boosted capacity and rate capability of MnO_(2)cathodes for Zn//MnO_(2)batteries显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable Zn//MnO_(2)batteries show promising prospects for grid-scale energy storage due to their intrinsic safety,abundant resource,and potential high performance.Unfortunately,the real capability of these devices is far from satisfactory thanks to the low capacity and sluggish kinetics of the MnO_(2)cathode.Herein,we report a dual cation doping strategy by synthesis of MnO_(2)in the presence of Ti_(3)_(2)X MXenes and Ni^(2+)ions to essentially address these drawbacks.Such a process contributes to a Ti,Ni co-dopedα-MnO_(2)anchored on MXenes.The Ti^(3+)ions incorporated in the framework allow a partial multivalent variation for a large capacity while the Ni^(2+)ions promote the H^(+)transfer within the MnO_(2)matrix via the Grotthuss proton transport manner.As a result,the optimal dual cation doped MnO_(2)exhibits a large reversible capacity of 378 mAh·g-1 at 0.1 C and a high rate capability.Moreover,capacity retention as high as 92%is observed after cycling at 4 C for 1000 times,far superior to many of the previously reported results.This facile strategy demonstrated here may shed new insight into the rational design of electrodes based on high-performance Zn//MnO_(2)batteries.Chongze Wang Hao Yang Bin Wang Peibin Ding Yi Wan Wenjing Bao Yanan Li Suyan Ma Yang Liu Yukun Lu Han Hu 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
17Deep Membrane Proteome Profiling of Rat Hippocampus in Simulated Complex Space Environment by SWATH显示文摘Despite the development and great progress in the field of space biology,the astronauts are still facing many challenges in space.The space environment in which astronauts stay includes microgravity,noise,circadian rhythms disorder,and confinement,which has deep effect both on the physiology and psychology of astronauts.It was reported that long-term flight could cause the astronauts’anxiety and depression.However,the underlying mechanism is not yet fully understood.Therefore,in the present study,the rat tail suspension model with noise,circadian rhythms,and confinement was employed to simulate complex space environment.We found that the rats exhibited the depressive-like behavior by the sucrose preference,forced swimming,and open-field tests.The membrane proteome of the rat hippocampus was investigated by“SWATH quantitation”technology both in control and simulated complex space environment(SCSE)groups.Out of 4520 quantified proteins,244 differentially expressed membrane proteins were obtained between the SCSE and control rats,which were functionally enriched in a series of biological processes,such as translation,protein phosphorylation,brain development,endocytosis,nervous system development,axonogenesis,and vesicle-mediated transport.We found a reduction level of neurexin-2,the light,medium,heavy polypeptide of neurofilament,rab 18,synaptogyrin 1,and syntaxin-1A and an increase level of neuroligin-1,munc18,snapin,synaptotagmin XII,complexin-1,etc.,which may play a key part in the development of depression.Furthermore,GSK-3βprotein was upregulated in mass spectrometry,which was further validated by western blotting.The results of the study do the favor in designing the effective countermeasures for the astronauts in the future long-term spaceflight.Yun Wang Peibin Qin Jie Hong Nuomin Li Yongqian Zhang Yulin Deng 2021Space(Science & Technology)2021,,1:0
