Methane dry reforming on Ni/La_2Zr_2O_7 treated by plasma in different atmospheres显示文摘A series of Ni/La2Zr2O7 pyrochlore catalysts prepared by impregnation method and treated by dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) plasma in different atmospheres and varied sequences were prepared and applied for dry reforming of methane(DRM). It is found that all of the plasma treated catalysts show evidently improved activity and coke resistance in comparison with the non-plasma treated one. The best performance is achieved on Ni/La2Zr2O7–H2P–C,a catalyst treated in H2 plasma before calcination. TGA-DSC and SEM demonstrate that carbon deposition is significantly suppressed on all of the plasma treated samples. Moreover,XRD and TEM results testify that both Ni O and Ni sizes on the calcined and reduced samples treated by plasma are also decreased, which results in higher Ni metal dispersion on the reduced and used catalysts and enhances the interactions between Ni sites and the support. It is believed that these are the inherent reasons accounting for the promotional effects of plasma treatment on the reaction performance of the Ni/La2Zr2O7 pyrochlore catalysts.Honggen Peng Youhe Ma Wenming Liu Xianglan Xu Xiuzhong Fang Jie Lian Xiang Wang Changqing Li Wufeng Zhou Ping Yuan 2015Journal of Energy Chemistry2015,24,4:4
Confined Ni-In intermetallic alloy nanocatalyst with excellent coking resistance for methane dry reforming显示文摘Carbon dioxide and methane are two main greenhouse gases which are contributed to serious global warming.Fortunately, dry reforming of methane(DRM),a very important reaction developed decades ago,can convert these two major greenhouse gases into value-added syngas or hydrogen. The main problem retarding its industrialization is the seriously coking formation upon the nickel-based catalysts.Herein,a series of confined indium-nickel(In-Ni)intermetallic alloy nanocatalysts(In_(x)Ni@SiO_(2))have been prepared and displayed superior coking resistance for DRM reaction. The sample containing 0.5 wt.%of In loading(In_(0.5)Ni@SiO_(2))shows the best balance of carbon deposition resistance and DRM reactivity even after 430 h long term stability test. The boosted carbon resistance can be ascribed to the confinement of core–shell structure and to the transfer of electrons from Indium to Nickel in In-Ni intermetallic alloys due to the smaller electronegativity of In.Both the silica shell and the increase of electron cloud density on metallic Ni can weaken the ability of Ni to activate C–H bond and decrease the deep cracking process of methane. The reaction over the confined InNi intermetallic alloy nanocatalyst was conformed to the Langmuir-Hinshelwood(L-H)mechanism revealed by in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(in-situ DRIFTS).This work provides a guidance to design high performance coking resistance catalysts for methane dry reforming to efficiently utilize these two main greenhouse gases.Wenming Liu Le Li Sixue Lin Yiwei Luo Zhenghong Bao Yiru Mao Kongzhai Li Daishe Wu Honggen Peng 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2:3

Synthesis of atomically dispersed cationic nickel-confined mesoporous ZSM-48(ANMZ-48)directed by metal complexes in amphiphilic molecules显示文摘The synthesis of mesoporous zeolite-anchored atomically dispersed metal catalysts(ADCs)is a considerable challenge in chemistry and materials science. Here we report the synthesis of atomically dispersed cationic nickel-confined mesoporous ZSM-48(ANMZ-48)by in situ hydrothermal reaction employing a designed tri-functional metal complex template,by which the triquaternary ammonium groups in the hydrophilic region direct the formation of ZSM-48 zeolite;the aromatic groups in the hydrophobic tail generate the mesopores through π-π stacking;and the complexes formed by nickel ions coordinated with terpyridyl groups generate atomically dispersed Ni2+confined in zeolite frameworks due to the strong sintering resistance generated by the strong coordination interaction. The ANMZ-48 is consisting of stacking of sheet-like ZSM-48 domains connected by multiply crystal twinning sharing the common(011)plane,generating abundant of imbedded mesopores with the uniform thickness of~2.4 nm and with the width of 10-50 nm.The excellent catalytic activity and stability of ANMZ-48 were also reflected in the dry reforming of methane(DRM)reaction.Yu Chen Quanzheng Deng Yiru Mao Yuxi Fang Zhihua Cao Honggen Peng Shunai Che Lu Han 2024Science China Chemistry2024,67,1:0
Simple nucleophile/H_(2)O promoted defluorinative ring-opening of gem-difluorocyclopropenes显示文摘A novel defluorinative ring-opening of gem-difluorocyclopropenes is presented, providing a concise and efficient method for accessing 2-fluoropropenals and 2-fluorobuta-1,3-dienes in moderate to good yields with excellent regio-and stereoselectivities. The reaction is performed under mild conditions with no need of using an excess amount of nucleophilic reagents.Water plays a crucial role in this transformation.Yimiao He Jingwen Yuan Wen-Xin Lv Peng Liu Fan Teng Qijin Mo Zihua Wu Chusheng Huang Qianwen Liu Honggen Wang 2024Green Synthesis and Catalysis2024,5,1:0
Recent advances in charge mechanism of noble metal-based cathodes for Li-O_(2) batteries显示文摘Lithium-oxygen(Li-O_(2)) batteries are considered as the next generation for energy storages systems due to the higher theoretical energy density than that of Li-ion batteries. However, the high charge overpotential caused by the insulated Li_(2)O_(2)results in low energy efficiency, side reaction from electrolyte and cathode, and therefore poor battery performance. Designing noble metal-based catalysts can be an effective strategy to develop high-performance Li-O_(2)batteries with low charge overpotentials and outstanding cycle stability. However, the charge mechanism for noble metal-based catalysts is not clear and even contradictory. Herein, several charge mechanisms of Li_(2)O_(2)are first discussed. Subsequently, the possible charge processes of Li-O_(2)batteries with noble metal-based catalysts are illustrated. In addition, the future development for noble metal-based catalysts is outlined.Yong Zhao Wei Cheng Jiahan Wu Zhengguang Hu Fengliang Liu Li Wang Honggen Peng 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,2:0
