1Microwave-Assisted Decarboxylation of Sodium Oleate and Renewable Hydrocarbon Fuel Production显示文摘The carboxyl terminal of sodium oleate has a stronger polarity than that of oleic acid;this terminal is more likely to be dipole polarized and ionically conductive in a microwave field.Sodium oleate was used as the model compound to study the decarboxylation of oleic acid leading to hydrocarbon formation via microwave-assisted pyrolysis technology.The pyrolysis gas,liquid,and solid products were precisely analyzed to deduce the mechanism for decarboxylation of sodium oleate.Microwave energy was able to selectively heat the carboxyl terminal of sodium oleate.During decarboxylation,the double bond in the long hydrocarbon chain formed a p-πconjugated system with the carbanion intermediate.The resulting p-πconjugated system was more stable and beneficial to the pyrolysis reaction(decarboxylation,terminal allylation,isomerization,and aromatization).The physical properties of pyrolysis liquid were generally similar to those of diesel fuel,thereby demonstrating the possible use of microwaves for controlling the decarboxylation of sodium oleate in order to manufacture renewable hydrocarbon fuels.Wang Yunpu Liu Yuhuan Ruan Rongsheng Wen Pingwei Wan Yiqin Zhang Jinsheng 2013China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2013,15,3:5
2Polycrystalline diamond MESFETs by Au-mask technology for RF applications显示文摘Metal-semiconductor field effect transistors (MESFETs) were fabricated on H-terminated polycrystalline diamond.The DC characteristics of the p-channel MESFET showed a maximum drain current density of 204 mA/mm at a gate-source voltage of 6 V,and a maximum transconductance of 20 mS/mm at a gate-source voltage of 1.5 V.The small signal S-parameters of MESFET with 2 100 m gate width and 2 m gate length were measured.An extrinsic cut-off frequency (fT) of 1.7 GHz and the maximum oscillation frequency (fmax) of 2.5 GHz were obtained,which was the first report on diamond MESFETs with RF characteristics in China.FENG ZhiHong WANG JingJing HE ZeZhao DUN ShaoBo YU Cui LIU JinLong ZHANG PingWei GUO Hui LI ChengMing CAI ShuJun 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,4:2
3Effects of Microwave Torrefaction with Mg(OH)2 on Characteristics of Bio-oil from Co-pyrolysis of Straw Stalk and Soapstock显示文摘This study investigated the effects of torrefaction with Mg(OH)2 on the properties of bio-oil formed from the microwave-assisted catalytic fast co-pyrolysis of straw stalk and soapstock.The effects of torrefaction temperature and residence time on the yield and composition of bio-oil were discussed.Results showed that the torrefaction temperature and residence time remarkably influenced the yield and composition of bio-oil.With the increase in temperature and time,the bio-oil yield and the proportion of oxygen-containing compounds decreased,while the proportion of aromatic compounds increased.When the feedstocks were subject to torrefaction reaction for 20 min at 260°C,the proportion of oxygen-containing compounds decreased from 29.89%to 16.49%.Meanwhile,Mg(OH)2 could render the deoxidization function of torrefaction process increasingly noticeable.The proportion of the oxygen-containing compounds reached a minimum(14.41%),when the biomass-to-Mg(OH)2 ratio was 1:1.Wen Pingwei Zhou Yue Dai Leilei Wang Yunpu Liu Yuhuan Ruan Roger 2019China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2019,21,3:1
4Improvements and New Evaluation of NIM4 Cesium Fountain Clock and Construction of NIM5 Clock in 2006显示文摘The NIM4 cesium fountain clock has been operating stably and sub-continually since Aug. 2003. In this paper we present improvements on NIM4 in 2005-2006 and the most recent evaluation for its frequency shifts with an uncertainty of 5E-15. A 220 days comparison between NIM4 and GPS showed an agreement of 2E-14. 5Progress of polymer reaction engineering:From process engineering to product engineering显示文摘Polymer reaction engineering studies the design,operation,and optimization of reactors for industrial scale polymerization,based on the theory of polymerization kinetics and transfer processes(e.g.,flow,heat and mass transfer).Although the foundation and development of this discipline are less than80 years,the global production of polymers has exceeded 400 million tons per annum.It demonstrates that polymer reaction engineering is of vital importance to the polymer industry.Along with the matu rity of production processes and market saturation for bulk polymers,emerging industries such as information technology,modern transportation,biomedicine,and new energy have continued to develop.As a result,the research objective for polymer reaction engineering has gradually shifted from maximizing the efficiency of the polymerization process to the precise regulation of high-end product-oriented macro molecules and their aggregation structures,i.e.,from polymer process engineering to polymer product engineering.In this review,the frontiers of polymer reaction engineering are introduced,including the precise regulation of polymer chain structure,the control of primary aggregation structure,and the rational design of polymer products.We narrow down the topic to the polymerization reaction engineering of vinyl monomers.Moreover,the future prospects are provided for the field of polymer reaction engineering.Pingwei Liu Jigang Du Yuting Ma Qingyue Wang Khak Ho Lim Bo-Geng Li 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,,10:1

8Chemo-drugs in cell microparticles reset antitumor activity of macrophages by activating lysosomal P450 and nuclear hnRNPA2B1显示文摘Macrophages in tumors(tumor-associated macrophages,TAMs),a major population within most tumors,play key homeostatic functions by stimulating angiogenesis,enhancing tumor cell growth,and suppressing antitumor immunity.Resetting TAMs by simple,efficacious and safe approach(s)is highly desirable to enhance antitumor immunity and attenuate tumor cell malignancy.Previously,we used tumor cell-derived microparticles to package chemotherapeutic drugs(drug-MPs),which resulted in a significant treatment outcome in human malignant pleural effusions via neutrophil recruitments,implicating that drug-MPs might reset TAMs,considering the inhibitory effects of M2 macrophages on neutrophil recruitment and activation.Here,we show that drug-MPs can function as an antitumor immunomodulator by resetting TAMs with M1 phenotype and IFN-βrelease.Mechanistically,drug molecules in tumor MPs activate macrophage lysosomal P450 monooxygenases,resulting in superoxide anion formation,which further amplifies lysosomal ROS production and pH value by activating lysosomal NOX2.Consequently,lysosomal Ca^(2+)signaling is activated,thus polarizing macrophages towards M1.Meanwhile,the drug molecules are delivered from lysosomes into the nucleus where they activate DNA sensor hnRNPA2B1 for IFN-βproduction.This lysosomal-nuclear machinery fully arouses the antitumor activity of macrophages by targeting both lysosomal pH and the nuclear innate immunity.These findings highlight that drug-MPs can act as a new immunotherapeutic approach by revitalizing antitumor activity of macrophages.This mechanistic elucidation can be translated to treat malignant ascites by drug-MPs combined with PD-1 blockade.Keke Wei Huafeng Zhang Shuaishuai Yang Yuxiao Cui Bingxia Zhang Jincheng Liu Liang Tang Yaoyao Tan Simin Liu Shiqi Chen Wu Yuan Xiao Luo Chen Chen Fei Li Junwei Liu Jie Chen Pingwei Xu Jiadi Lv Ke Tang Yi Zhang Jingwei Ma Bo Huang 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,2:0
9Supramolecular G-quadruplex hydrogels:Bridging fabrication to biomedical application显示文摘G-quadruplex hydrogel is a class of self-assembled supramolecular hydrogel formed by guanine derivatives.As a biomimetic hydrogel,G-quadruplex hydrogels demonstrate wide biomedical applications,such as drug delivery,tissue engineering,and biosensing.The advantages of using G-quadruplex hydrogels include adequate biocompatibility and biodegradability,tunable multifunctionality,and cost-effective and large-scalable fabrication process.In this review,we focus on recent progress in the fabrication and characterization of G-quadruplex hydrogels to help readers understand the principles of G-quadruplex hydrogel formation.Meanwhile,the applications of G-quadruplex hydrogels in the biomedical area are discussed,aiming to pave the way for downward clinical or industry translation.The development of G-quadruplex hydrogel is still in its infancy.We hope this review will boost the development of this area and that more applications of G-quadruplex hydrogel will be developed.Yuanfeng Li Junjie Chi Pingwei Xu Xing Dong Anh-Tuan Le Keqing Shi Yong Liu Jian Xiao 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,24:0
