1Damage detection of long-span bridges using stress influence lines incorporated control charts显示文摘Numerous long-span bridges have been built throughout the world in recent years.These bridges are progressively damaged by continuous usage throughout their long service life.The failure of local structural components is detrimental to the performance of the entire bridge,furthermore,detecting the local abnormality at an early stage is difficult.This paper explores a novel damage detection method for long-span bridges by incorporating stress influence lines(SILs)in control charts,and validates the efficacy of the method through a case study of the Tsing Ma Suspension Bridge.Damage indices based on SILs are subsequently proposed and applied to hypothetical damage scenarios in which one or two critical bridge components are subjected to severe damage.The comparison study suggests that the first-order difference of SIL change is an accurate indicator for location of the damage.To some extent,different levels of damage can be quantified by using SILs incorporating with X-bar control chart.Results of this study indicate that the proposed SIL-based method offers a promising technique for damage detection in long-span bridges.CHEN ZhiWei CAI QinLin LEI Ying ZHU SongYe 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,9:9
2Anti-corruption, government subsidies, and investment efficiency显示文摘The problem of corruption in socio-economic development has long been a focus of academics and practitioners. To address this concern in China, the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China instituted a new anti-corruption policy. In this paper, we examine the impact of this recently enacted anti-corruption policy on the investment efficiency of subsidized enter- prises from the perspective of government subsidies. We conclude that govern- ment subsidies have a significant positive impact on the overinvestment behavior of enterprises and that the anti-corruption work done by the govern- ment has effectively restrained the excessive investment behavior of government-subsidized enterprises. Further, we find that the anti-corruption policy is more effective in restricting overinvestment in subsidized stateowned enterprises than in non-state-owned enterprises. We examine the impact of the anti-corruption policy on excessive investment caused by government subsidies and enrich the body of research related to investment efficiency.We also provide empirical support for further research on the anti-corruption policy at the macro-market and micro-enterprise levels. 9Influence of Annealing Time on the Microstructure and Properties of Pb(Zr_(0.53)Ti_(0.47))O_3 Thin Films显示文摘The PZT thin films were prepared on (111)- Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates by sol-gel method, and lead acetate [Pb(CH3COO)2], zirconium nitrate [Zr(NO3)4] were used as raw materials. The X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to characterize the phase structure and surface morphology of the films annealed at 650 ℃ but with different holding time. Ferroelectric and dielectric properties of the films were measured by the ferroelectric tester and the precision impedance analyzer, respectively. The PZT thin films were constructed with epoxy resin as a composite structure, and the damping properties of the composite were tested by dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA). The results show that the films annealed for 90 minutes present a dense and compact crystal arrangement on the surface; moreover, the films also achieve their best electric quality. 11Tectonic characteristics and structural styles of a continental rifted basin:Revelation from deep seismic reflection profiles显示文摘The Fushan Depression is a half-graben rifted sub-basin located in the southeast of the Beibuwan Basin, South China Sea. The Paleogene Liushagang sequence is the main hydrocarbon-bearing stratigraphic unit in the sub-basin. Using three-dimensional(3-D)seismic data and logging data over the sub-basin, we analyzed structural styles and sedimentary characteristics of the Liushagang sequence. Five types of structural styles were defined: ancient horst, traditional slope, flexure slope-break, faulted slope-break and multiple-stage faults slope, and interpretations for positions, background and development formations of each structural style were discussed. Structural framework across the sub-basin reveals that the most remarkable tectonic setting is represented by the central transfer zone(CTZ) which divides the sub-basin into two independent depressions, and two kinds of sequence architectures are summarized:(i) the western multi-stage faults slope;(ii) the eastern flexure slope break belt. Combined with regional stress field of the Fushan Depression, we got plane combinations of the faults, and finally built up plan distribution maps of structural system for main sequence. Also, we discussed the controlling factors mainly focused on subsidence history and background tectonic activities such as volcanic activity and earthquakes. 14The capital market spillover effect of product market advertising:Evidence from stock price synchronicity显示文摘We analyze whether product market advertising has a spillover effect on stock price synchronicity by transmitting firm-specific information to the capital market and attracting more investor attention.Using a sample of Chinese listed firms from 2009 to 2017,we find that firms with greater advertising expenditures have lower stock price synchronicity.The results are robust after we address endogeneity concerns.In accord with our hypothesis that product market advertising increases the amount of firm-level information capitalized into stock prices through the information channel,we find that the impact of advertising on synchronicity is more pronounced for firms with a higher degree of information asymmetry and firms in the consumer-product industry.Further tests show that product market advertising enhances the ability of current period returns to reflect future earnings,and thus rules out that the negative relationship between advertising and synchronicity is driven by noise trading.Our results imply that product market advertising plays an informative role and improves information efficiency in a capital market.Yajie Chen Qinlin Zhong Fuxiu Jiang 2020Frontiers of Business Research in China2020,14,2:1

20Karyological observations of Ulva linza chromosomes显示文摘Abstract Ulva linza is one of the species that causes green tides in the Yellow Sea,China.Due to the diffi culties in chromosomal preparation,the large numbers of chromosomes,and their relatively small sizes,there have been no reported studies on Ulva macroalgae chromosomes.The karyotypes and chromosomes in U.linza were observed after a series of treatments.The chromosomes were pretreated with 0.1%colchicine for 12 h and then mixed with enzymes.The samples were dropped from 30 cm height onto glass slides,which spread out the surface coat.These pretreatments were the optimal chromosomes preparation treatments.The prepared chromosomes were stained with 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI),which is a fl uorescent probe sensitive and specifi c to DNA.The chromosome number in the haploid male and female gametophytes was n=9,and was 2 n=18 in the diploid sporophytes.The female gametophyte chromosomes were between 0.804 and 2.292μm in size,the male gametophyte chromosomes were between 0.917 and 2.916μm,and the sporophyte chromosomes were between 0.912 and 2.167μm.The relative sizes of the chromosomes were used to analyze the karyotypes of the female and male gametophyte chromosomes.The results provide a solid foundation for the basic technique that can be used to localize molecular markers of Ulva chromosomes.Xiaohui ZHAO Xiaoqian YANG Jianheng ZHANG Qinlin WEN Peimin HE 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,1:0
