Experimental and numerical study of failure behavior and mechanism of coal under dynamic compressive loads显示文摘A comprehensive understanding of the failure behavior and mechanism of coal is a prerequisite for dealing with dynamic problems in mining space. In this study, the failure behavior and mechanism of coal under uniaxial dynamic compressive loads were experimentally and numerically investigated. The experiments were conducted using a split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)system. The results indicated that the typical failure of coal is lateral and axial at lower loading rates and totally smashed at higher loading rates. The further fractography analysis of lateral and axial fracture fragments indicated that the coal failure under dynamic compressive load is caused by tensile brittle fracture. In addition, the typical failure modes of coal under dynamic load were numerically reproduced. The numerical results indicated that the axial fracture is caused directly by the incident compressive stress wave and the lateral fracture is caused by the tensile stress wave reflected from the interface between coal specimen and transmitted bar.Potential application was further conducted to interpret dynamic problems in underground coal mine and it manifested that the lateral and axial fractures of coal constitute the parallel cracks in the coal mass under roof fall and blasting in mining space. | Junjun Feng Enyuan Wang Qisong Huang Houcheng Ding Xiangyang Zhang | 2020 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,5: | 13

EEMD and bidimensional RLS to suppress physiological interference for heterogeneous distribution in fNIRS study显示文摘Near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS)can provide the hemodynamics information based on the hemoglobin concentration representing the blood oxygen metabolism of the cerebral cortical, which can be deployed for the cerebral function study.However,NIRS-based cerebral function detection accuracy can be signi¯cantly in°uenced by the physiological activities such as cardic cycle, respiration, spontaneous low-frequency oscillation and ultra-low frequency oscillation. The distribution difference of the capillary, artery and vein leads to the heterogeneity feature of the cerebral tissues. In the case that the heterogeneity is not serious, good detection accuracy and stable performance can be achieved through the regression analysis as the reference signal can well represent the interference in the measurement signal when conducting the multi-distance measurement approach. The direct use of the reference signal to estimate the interference is not able to achieve good performance in the case that the heterogeneity is serious. In this study, the cerebral function activity signal is extracted using recursive least square(RLS)method based on the multi-distance measurement method in which the reference signal is processed by ensemble empirical mode decomposition(EEMD)algorithm. The temporal and dimensional correlation of the neighboring sampling values are applied to estimate the interference in the measurement signal.Monte Carlo simulation based on a heterogeneous model is adopted here to investigate the effectiveness of this methodology. The results show that this methodology can effectively suppress the physiological interference and improve the detection accuracy of cerebral activity signal. | Yan Zhang Dan Liu Qisong Wang Xin Liu Chunling Yang Jinwei Sun Jingyang Lu Peter Rolfe | 2018 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2018,,6: | 1
Experimental study on flocculation and sedimentation characteristics of cohesive fine sediment measured using ultrasound in the Pearl River Estuary显示文摘Flocculation-settling of cohesive fine sediment is the main cause of sediment deposition and changes in topography and geomorphology in estuaries. However, studies on estuary morphology have often focused on a single influencing factor, and sediment deposition characteristics under disturbances in sediment concentration, moisture content, and external forces have rarely been considered simultaneously. The authors propose an ultrasound-assisted flocculation-settling method to analyze the various factor affecting cohesive sediment. The current study examined the sedimentation patterns of cohesive sediment with a sediment content concentration of 30%e80%through ultrasound experiments. The results show that when the sediment concentration is 40%e50%,the best effect on flocculation and sedimentation is induced by ultrasound waves. The corresponding settling height at the clear-muddy water interface is 3.05e3.45 cm,and the settling rate is 0.161e0.173 cm/min.Finally,using ultrasound waves,a moisture content of the sediment concentration of 30%e80%was analyzed based on wet and dry conditions.Taking a sediment concentration of 50%as an example, the maximum values of the variation in the water contents of the upper, middle, and lower layers of the wet basis were 0.82%,0.51%,and 0.37%,respectively,whereas those of the upper, middle, and lower layers of the dry basis were 4.77%,1.07%,and 0.60%,respectively.Thus,the moisture content of dry and wet sediment varied as follows:W_(upper)>W_(middle)>W_(lower).The current research results can provide a theoretical basis and technical reference for siltation in channels, harbors, and reservoirs;the evolution of submarine deltas and coastal beaches;transportation of fluid mud;and the treatment of hyper-concentrated sediment flows. | Qinqin Liu Xiaojian Liu Jian Chen Peng Hou Yong He Qisong Wang Xiaowei Zhu Qiang Wang Huan Gao | 2023 | International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,6: | 0
Magnetic properties and magnetization mechanism of anisotropic NdFeB/SmFeN hybrid bonded magnets prepared with different coercivity NdFeB powders显示文摘Anisotropic NdFeB/SmFeN hybrid bonded magnets were prepared by warm compaction process under an orientation magnetic field of 22 kOe,mixing with anisotropic SmFeN powders in different addition and HDDR-NdFeB powders in different coercivity. With the addition of 20 wt% SmFeN,the density and remanence of hybrid magnets increase from 5.58 g/cm~3,8.4 kGs to 6.02 g/cm~3,9.0 kGs,respectively. And as the addition amount of SmFeN powders varies from 20 wt% to 40 wt%,the maximum energy product changes less than 0.5 MGOe.In addition, the magnetization process and the interactions between two powders were studied. It is found that the magnetization process of anisotropic NdFeB powders shows distinction in different initial states. The addition of SmFeN powders promotes the rotation of NdFeB powders together with applied field, which is beneficial to the degree of alignment of NdFeB powders.Because of the micron-sized long range coupling effect, the coercivity of hybrid magnets decreases slowly with the increase of low coercivity SmFeN.Meanwhile, the magnetization process of hybrid magnets is different from pure magnets,it increases rapidly at low field and then slowly, next leads to rapidity again and achieves the saturation magnetization finally. | Qisong Luo Yang Luo Zilong Wang Haijun Peng Wenlong Yan Wenjian Yan Tianhao Li Shengjie Zhu Dunbo Yu | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,9: | 0
Netrin-3 Suppresses Diabetic Neuropathic Pain by Gating the Intra-epidermal Sprouting of Sensory显示文摘tDiabetic neuropathic pain(DNP)is the most common disabling complication of diabetes.Emerging evi-dence has linked the pathogenesis of DNP to the aberrant sprouting of sensory axons into the epidermal area;however, the underlying molecular events remain poorly understood. Here we found that an axon guidance molecule,Netrin-3(Ntn-3),was expressed in the sensory neurons of mouse dorsal root ganglia(DRGs),and downregulation of Ntn-3 expression was highly correlated with the severity of DNP in a diabetic mouse model.Genetic ablation of Ntn-3 increased the intra-epidermal sprouting of sensory axons and worsened the DNP in diabetic mice.In contrast, the elevation of Ntn-3 levels in DRGs significantly inhibited the intra-epidermal axon sprouting and alleviated DNP in diabetic mice.In con-clusion,our studies identified Ntn-3 as an important regula-tor of DNP pathogenesis by gating the aberrant sprouting of sensory axons, indicating that Ntn-3 is a potential druggable target for DNP treatment. | Weiping Pan Xueyin Huang Zikai Yu Qiongqiong Ding Liping Xia Jianfeng Hua Bokai Gu Qisong Xiong Hualin Yu Junbo Wang Zhenzhong Xu Linghui Zeng Ge Bai Huaqing Liu | 2023 | Neuroscience Bulletin2023,39,5: | 0

Research on wavelength conversion of triangular pulses with variable symmetry based on SPM effect显示文摘The generation of periodic triangular waveform with variable symmetrical coefficient based on a dual-parallel Mach-Zehnder modulator(DP-MZM) is demonstrated in this work.By properly setting the modulation index and bias points of DP-MZM,desired symmetric/asymmetric triangular waveforms can be generated. Then applying the generated triangular waveform into an amplitude modulator(AM),a single-period signal can be extracted to explore the optical wavelength conversion induced by the self-phase modulation(SPM) effect in a high nonlinear fiber(HNLF).Wavelength shifts of triangular waveforms with different coefficients(10%,20%,30%,40% and 50%) are calculated. In addition, the influence of key parameters of HNLF on the wavelength conversion is analyzed in detail. | YUAN Jin LIU Qisong MEI Ying XU Xiuxiu WANG Yujie BA Xinran | 2023 | Optoelectronics Letters2023,19,8: | 0
