| 1 | Evidence of the Near-Source Accumulation of the Tight Sandstone Gas in Northern Ordos Basin,North-Central China显示文摘The tight sandstone gas in Upper Paleozoic Formation of the northern Ordos Basin is a typical giant unconventional tight gas province. Evidences from geochemistry, reservoir geology and paleotectonic setting all verify that the present-day tight sandstone gas accumulation in the Ordos Basin is the result of near-source accumulation. The evidences are listed as following: tight sandstone gas is mainly distributed in the area with high gas-generating strength; gas composition was not subjected to fractionation; gas saturation significantly decreases with the distance away from the source rocks; gas isotopes suggest their origin is the same and maturity is consistent with in-place source rocks; reservoirs have experienced three types of densification digenesis, including intense compaction, siliceous cementation and calcareous cementation, which took place before the formation of a large amount of tight sandstone gas, forming tight reservoirs with low porosity and permeability, fine pore throat and great capillary resistance; the paleo-structural gradient ratio is small from the main hydrocarbon generation period to present. | 2 | Quantitative evaluation of soil erosion of land subsided by coal mining using RUSLE显示文摘Based on a RUSLE model,we identified the key factors of the impact on soil erosion induced by coal mining subsidence.We designed a method for predicting LS factors of a mining subsidence basin,using analytical GIS spatial technology.Using the Huainan mining area as an example,we calculated the modulus of erosion,its volume and classified the grade of soil erosion for both the original area and the subsidence basin.The results show that the maximum modulus of erosion and the volume of erosion of the subsidence basin without water logging would increase by 78% and 23% respectively compared with the original situation.The edge of the subsidence basin,where the land subsidence was uneven,is subject to the greatest acceleration in soil erosion.In the situation of water logging after subsidence,the maximum modulus of erosion would decrease if the accumulated slope length were reduced.This maximum modulus around the water logged area within the subsidence basin is equal to that without water logging,while the total volume of erosion decreases.Therefore,mining subsidence aggravates soil erosion especially at the edge of basins where water and soil conservation measures should be taken. | Meng Lei Feng Qiyan Wu Kan Meng Qingjun | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,1: | 13 |
| 3 | Fabrication of bimetallic Ag/Fe immobilized on modified biochar for removal of carbon tetrachloride显示文摘As an effective conventional absorbent, biochar exhibited limited adsorption ability toward small hydrophobic molecules. To enhance the adsorption capacity, a novel adsorbent was prepared by immobilizing nanoscale zero-valent iron onto modified biochar(MB) and then the elemental silver was attached to the surface of iron(Ag/Fe/MB). It's noted that spherical Ag/Fe nanoparticles with diameter of 51 nm were highly dispersed on the surface of MB. As the typical hydrophobic contaminant, carbon tetrachloride was selected for examining the removal efficiency of the adsorbent. The removal efficiencies of carbon tetrachloride by original biochar(OB), Ag/Fe, Ag/Fe/OB and Ag/Fe/MB were fully investigated. It's found that Ag/Fe/MB showed higher carbon tetrachloride removal efficiency, which is about 5.5 times higher than that of the OB sample due to utilizing the merits of high adsorption and reduction. Thermodynamic parameters revealed that the removal of carbon tetrachloride by Ag/Fe/MB was a spontaneous and exothermic process, which was affected by solution p H, initial carbon tetrachloride concentration and temperature. | 4 | Characteristics of strike-slip inversion structures of the Karatau fault and their petroleum geological significances in the South Turgay Basin,Kazakhstan显示文摘The Karatau fault is one of the important strike-slip faults in central Asia,and the South Turgay Basin is located towards its northern end.Detailed seismic interpretation indicated that the strikeslip tectonism of the Karatau fault weakened gradually from west to east in the South Turgay Basin.Typical flower structures developed on the section,and strike-slip faults showed an echelon pattern on planar view.The Karatau strike-slip fault affected the South Turgay Basin in two periods:(1) The South Turgay strike-slip pull-apart rift basin formed as a result of regional extensive stress in the Early-Middle Jurassic,characterized by the juxtaposition of horsts and grabens.The formation of horsts provided favorable reservoir spaces for later hydrocarbon accumulation,and different filling stages of grabens controlled different reservoir-forming factors in grabens.(2) Two stages of tectonic inversion occurred in the Late Jurassic and Late Cretaceous and played a crucial role in the final shape of the structure in the South Turgay Basin.The oil and gas migrated to form reservoirs and mainly concentrated in the horsts,graben slopes and in both sides of the strike-slip fault zone.In the case of the degree of accumulation of petroleum,the factor explaining why horsts are better than grabens is the strike-slip pull-apart of the South Turgay Basin,and the structure inversion of the South Turgay Basin explains why the west graben is better than the east one.Overall,the Karatau strike-slip fault played a very important role in the formation of the South Turgay Basin and its hydrocarbon accumulations. | Yin Wei Fan Zifei Zheng Junzhang Yin Jiquan Zhang Mingjun Sheng Xiaofeng Guo Jianjun Li Qiyan Lin yaping | 2012 | Petroleum Science2012,9,4: | 11 |
| 5 | Gentrification and Residential Differentiation in Nanjing,China显示文摘The institutional environment in China has quite evidently changed during modern socio-economic transitions.Driven both by local government and by marketing force,urban social space was redistributed after the reform of urban land and real estate policies.Urban renewal makes for wide differential rent and therefore gentrification is occurring in China.This paper analyzes the background and institutional environment of gentrification in China,and further discusses the process,characteristics and evolutionary mechanisms in the case of Nanjing,through investigation of the attributes of 1075 residential communities built during the 1998-2008 at a macro level,and interviewing the residents and analyzing questionnaires in 6 different and typical communities at a micro level.As a socio-spatial course of two-way interaction,gentrification is divided into 3 stages of incubation,occurrence and fast development,according to the time of landmark events and policy reform on the leasehold of land in Nanjing during socio-economic transition.In terms of the socio-spatial characteristics of gentrification in Nanjing,the gentrification process under the trajectory of urban renewal makes urban social space present a new circle-layer structure;the rise of quite a number of gated communities results in the fragmentation of social space and privatization of public space;the management mode of modern communities and the change of life style have aggravated the indifference of neighborhood relationship of gentrified communities.Based on the empirical evidence of this study,this paper indicates that gentrification is quite different between China and western countries with respect to spatio-temporal order,dominant forces,paths of realization and spatial expression,and it further reveals the dynamic mechanism of gentrification developing in China at the present stage. | SONG Weixuan WU Qiyan | 2010 | Chinese Geographical Science2010,20,6: | 11 |
| 6 | Overexpression of GmDREB1 improves salt tolerance in transgenic wheat and leaf protein response to high salinity显示文摘The transcription factor dehydration-responsive element binding protein(DREB)is able to improve tolerance to abiotic stress in plants by regulating the expression of downstream genes involved in environmental stress resistance.The objectives of this study were to evaluate the salt tolerance of GmDREB1 transgenic wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)and to evaluate its physiological and protein responses to salt stress.Compared with the wild type,the transgenic lines overexpressing GmDREB1 showed longer coleoptiles and radicles and a greater radicle number at the germination stage,as well as greater root length,fresh weight,and tiller number per plant at the seedling stage.The yield-related traits of transgenic lines were also improved compared with the wild type,indicating enhanced salt tolerance in transgenic lines overexpressing GmDREB1.Proteomics analysis revealed that osmotic-and oxidative-stressrelated proteins were up-regulated in transgenic wheat leaves under salt stress conditions.Transgenic wheat had higher levels of proline and betaine and lower levels of malondialdehyde and relative electrolyte leakage than the wild type.These results suggest that GmDREB1 regulates the expression of osmotic-and oxidative-stress-related proteins that reduce the occurrence of cell injury caused by high salinity,thus improving the salt tolerance of transgenic wheat. | Qiyan Jiang Zheng Hu Hui Zhang Youzhi Ma | 2014 | The Crop Journal2014,2,Z1: | 11 |
| 7 | Development and validation of an ocean wave retrieval algorithm for VV-polarization Sentinel-1 SAR data显示文摘The purpose is to study the accuracy of ocean wave parameters retrieved from C-band VV-polarization Sentinel-1Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) images, including both significant wave height(SWH) and mean wave period(MWP), which are both calculated from a SAR-derived wave spectrum. The wind direction from in situ buoys is used and then the wind speed is retrieved by using a new C-band geophysical model function(GMF) model,denoted as C-SARMOD. Continuously, an algorithm parameterized first-guess spectra method(PFSM) is employed to retrieve the SWH and the MWP by using the SAR-derived wind speed. Forty–five VV-polarization Sentinel-1 SAR images are collected, which cover the in situ buoys around US coastal waters. A total of 52 subscenes are selected from those images. The retrieval results are compared with the measurements from in situ buoys. The comparison performs good for a wind retrieval, showing a 1.6 m/s standard deviation(STD) of the wind speed, while a 0.54 m STD of the SWH and a 2.14 s STD of the MWP are exhibited with an acceptable error.Additional 50 images taken in China's seas were also implemented by using the algorithm PFSM, showing a 0.67 m STD of the SWH and a 2.21 s STD of the MWP compared with European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF) reanalysis grids wave data. | 8 | Assimilating operational SST and sea ice analysis data into an operational circulation model for the coastal seas of China显示文摘The prediction of sea surface temperature(SST) is an essential task for an operational ocean circulation model. A sea surface heat flux, an initial temperature field, and boundary conditions directly affect the accuracy of a SST simulation. Here two quick and convenient data assimilation methods are employed to improve the SST simulation in the domain of the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea(BYECS). One is based on a surface net heat flux correction, named as Qcorrection(QC), which nudges the flux correction to the model equation; the other is ensemble optimal interpolation(En OI), which optimizes the model initial field. Based on such two methods, the SST data obtained from the operational SST and sea ice analysis(OSTIA) system are assimilated into an operational circulation model for the coastal seas of China. The results of the simulated SST based on four experiments, in 2011, have been analyzed. By comparing with the OSTIA SST, the domain averaged root mean square error(RMSE) of the four experiments is 1.74, 1.16, 1.30 and 0.91°C, respectively; the improvements of assimilation experiments Exps 2, 3 and 4 are about 33.3%, 25.3%, and 47.7%, respectively.Although both two methods are effective in assimilating the SST, the En OI shows more advantages than the QC,and the best result is achieved when the two methods are combined. | 10 | Analyses of a Glycine max Degradome Library Identify microRNA Targets and MicroRNAs that Trigger Secondary SiRNA Biogenesis显示文摘Plant microRNAs (miRNAs) regulate gene expression mainly by guiding cleavage of target mRNAs. In this study, a degradome library constructed from different soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) tissues was deep-sequenced. 428 potential targets of small interfering RNAs and 25 novel miRNA families were identified. A total of 211 potential miRNA targets, including 174 conserved miRNA targets and 37 soybean-specific miRNA targets, were identified. Among them, 121 targets were first discovered in soybean. The signature distribution of soybean primary miRNAs (pri-miRNAs) showed that most pri-miRNAs had the characteristic pattern of Dicer processing. The biogenesis of TAS3 small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) was conserved in soybean, and nine Auxin Response Factors were identified as TAS3 siRNA targets. Twenty-three miRNA targets produced secondary small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) in soybean. These targets were guided by five miRNAs: gma-miR393, gma-miR1508, gma-miR1510, gma-miR1514, and novel-11. Multiple targets of these secondary siRNAs were detected. These 23 miRNA targets may be the putative novel TAS genes in soybean. | 11 | Function of the auxin-responsive gene TaSAUR75 under salt and drought stress显示文摘Small auxin-upregulated RNAs(SAURs) are genes regulated by auxin and environmental factors. In this study, we identified a SAUR gene in wheat, Ta SAUR75. Under salt stress,Ta SAUR75 is downregulated in wheat roots. Subcellular localization revealed that Ta SAUR75 was localized in both the cytoplasm and nucleus. Overexpression of Ta SAUR75 increased drought and salt tolerance in Arabidopsis. Transgenic lines showed higher root length and survival rate and higher expression of some stress-responsive genes than control plants under salt and drought stress. Less H_2O_2 accumulated in transgenic lines than in control plants under drought stress. | 12 | Effects of axial gap and nozzle distribution on aerodynamic forces of a supersonic partial-admission turbine显示文摘The turbine in an LH2/LOX rocket engine is designed as a two-stage supersonic partialadmission turbine. Three-dimensional steady and unsteady simulations were conducted to analyze turbine performance and aerodynamic forces on rotor blades. Different configurations were employed to investigate the effects of the axial gap and nozzle distribution on the predicted performance and aerodynamic forces. Rotor blades experience unsteady aerodynamic forces because of the partial admission. Aerodynamic forces show periodicity in the admission region, and are close to zero after leaving the admission region. The unsteady forces in frequency domain indicate that components exist in a wide frequency region, and the admission passing frequency is dominant.Those multiples of the rotational frequency which are multiples of the nozzle number in a fulladmission turbine are notable components. Results show that the turbine efficiency decreases as the axial gap between nozzles and the 1 st stage rotor(rotor 1) increases. Fluctuation of the circumferential aerodynamic force on rotor 1 blades decreases with the axial gap increasing. The turbine efficiency decreases as the circumferential spacing between nozzles increases. Fluctuations of the circumferential and axial aerodynamic forces increase as the circumferential spacing increases. | 13 | Evaluation of Wind Retrieval from Co-Polarization Gaofen-3 SAR Imagery Around China Seas显示文摘Gaofen-3(GF-3) is the first Chinese space-borne satellite to carry the C-band multi-polarization synthetic aperture radar(SAR). Marine applications, i.e., winds and waves retrieved from GF-3 SAR images, have been operational since January 2017. In this study, we have collected more than 1000 quad-polarization(vertical-vertical(VV); horizontal-horizontal(HH); vertical-horizontal(VH); horizontal-vertical(HV)) GF-3 SAR images, which were acquired around the China Seas from September 2016 to September 2017. Wind streaks were visible in these images in co-polarization(VV and HH) channel. Geophysical model functions(GMFs), including the CMOD5N together with polarization ratio(PR) model and C-SARMOD, were used to retrieve winds from the collected co-polarization GF-3 SAR images. Wind directions were directly obtained from GF-3 SAR images. Then, the SAR-derived wind speeds were compared with the measurements at a 0.25? grid from the Advanced Scatterometer on board the Metop-A/B and microwave radiometer WindSAT. Based on the analysis, empirical corrections are proposed to improve the performance of the two GMFs. Results of this study show that the standard deviation of wind speed is 1.63 m s^(-1) with a 0.19 m s^(-1) bias and 1.71 m s^(-1) with a 0.26 m s^(-1) bias for VV-and HH-polarization GF-3 SAR, respectively. | 14 | RNA-seq analysis of unintended effects in transgenic wheat overexpressing the transcription factor GmDREB1显示文摘The engineering of plants with enhanced tolerance to abiotic stresses typically involves complex multigene networks and may therefore have a greater potential to introduce unintended effects than the genetic modification for simple monogenic traits. For this reason, it is essential to study the unintended effects in transgenic plants engineered for stress tolerance. We selected drought-and salt-tolerant transgenic wheat overexpressing the transcription factor, GmDREB1, to investigate unintended pleiotropic effects using RNA-seq analysis. We compared the transcriptome alteration of transgenic plants with that of wild-type plants subjected to salt stress as a control. We found that GmDREB1 overexpression had a minimal impact on gene expression under normal conditions.GmDREB1 overexpression resulted in transcriptional reprogramming of the salt response,but many of the genes with differential expression are known to mitigate salt stress and contribute incrementally to the enhanced stress tolerance of transgenic wheat. GmDREB1 overexpression did not activate unintended gene networks with respect to gene expression in the roots of transgenic wheat. Previous studies have shown that C/EBP homologous protein mediates nerve injury during Alzheimer's disease, subarachnoid hemorrhage and spinal cord trauma. In this study, we introduced C/EBP homologous protein short hairpin RNA into the brains of ischemia/reperfusion rat models via injection of lentiviral vector through the left lateral ventricle. Silencing C/EBP homologous protein gene expression significantly reduced cerebral infarction volume, decreased water content and tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-1β mRNA expression in brain tissues following infarction, diminished the number of TUNEL-positive cells in the infarct region, decreased caspase-3 protein content and increased Bcl-2 protein content. | 18 | Metabolic profiling of DREB-overexpressing transgenic wheat seeds by liquid chromatographymass spectrometry显示文摘DREBs are transcription factors that regulate abiotic stress tolerance in plants.Previously,we reported that wheat transgenic lines overexpressing Gm DREB1 showed increased tolerance to drought and salt stress.However,the molecular basis of increased tolerance is still poorly understood,and whether the overexpression of DREB will cause unexpected effects is also of concern.We performed seed metabolic profiling of the genetically modified(GM)wheat T349 and three non-GM cultivars with LC-MS to identify the metabolic basis of stress tolerance and to assess the unexpected effects of exogenous gene insertion.Although we did not note the appearance of novel metabolites or the disappearance of existing metabolites,overexpression of the transcription factor Gm DREB1 in T349 wheat influenced metabolite levels in seeds.Increased levels of stress tolerance-associated metabolites were found in the stress-sensitive non-transgenic acceptor counterpart J19,while metabolites associated with cell membrane structure and stability accumulated in T349.Among these metabolites in T349,most showed levels similar to those in the non-GM wheats.Overexpression of Gm DREB1 in T349 may cause a shift in its metabolic profile leading to down-regulation of several energy-consuming processes to favor increased yield under stress conditions,which is a reasonable expectation of breeders while creating the GM wheat and Gm DREB1 overexpression did not cause unexpected effects in T349 seeds.These results may be helpful for GM crop research and risk assessment. | Fengjuan Niu Qiyan Jiang Xianjun Sun Zheng Hu Lixia Wang Hui Zhang | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,6: | 2 |
| 19 | 生态农业和有机农业的创新显示文摘现代农业系统在明显提高产量、保证粮食安全的同时,也对人类健康和地球的可持续性产生了影响。在持续不断的严重环境破坏和自然资源毁坏的背景下,建立可持续的农业生产方式至关重要。生态农业和有机农业是减少生态可持续性和生产力及社会可持续之间权衡关系的重要方法。这两种农业方法都属生态集约化范畴,均具有减少环境污染的巨大潜力;然而,生态农业和有机农业常导致产量降低。虽然产量降低带来的损失可以通过改变人们的饮食习惯来弥补(如减少食物浪费、减少食用精饲料喂养的肉类),但是,由于全球的发展趋势与之相反,因此本文探讨了通过科学研究寻求新的解决方案前景来提高低投入农业系统作物产量的可能性。为权衡生产力与可持续发展的关系,使生态农业和有机农业有助于粮食安全,我们对未来研究提出5点建议:1)农场和田地的景观设计与复合种植模式、2)数字化技术的应用、3)以农田低投入为目标的作物育种、4)农业废弃物的高质量循环利用和5)非化学作物保护。 | Urs Niggli Qiyan Wang-Muller Helga Willer Jacques Fuchs | 2021 | 中国生态农业学报(中英文)2021,29,3: | 2 |
| 20 | Analysis of the typhoon wave distribution simulated in WAVEWATCH-Ⅲ model in the context of Kuroshio and wind-induced current显示文摘To investigate the relationship between surface currents and wave distributions in typhoons,we took the Typhoon Talim in 2017 as a case,and found that the track of the typhoon winds up to 50 m/s was almost consistent with the Kuroshio track,particularly from September 13 to 16,2017.The surface current data,derived from the NCEP Climate Forecast System Version 2(CFSv2)from the National Center of Atmospheric Research(NCAR),revealed that the speed of the wind-induced current exceeded that of the Kuroshio in the region with the maximum wind speed.In this study,was utilized a third-generation numeric wave model,WAVEWATCH-Ⅲ(the latest version 5.16),developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA),to simulate the wave fields of Typhoon Talim using the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)reanalysis wind data in 0.125°×0.125°grid as the forcing field.We found that the root-mean-square error(RMSE)of the significant wave height(SWH)was 0.34 m when validated against measurements from altimeter Jason-2.In addition,we discovered that the SWH had a similar tendency to the change in the surface current speed that was approximately 0.5 m/s at the beginning of Typhoon Talim.However,the relationship became weak as the surface current speed was below 0.2 m/s.Our findings show that the distribution of typhoon waves is resulted from the interaction of surface current and the wind-sea portion of the wave system,since the distribution pattern of wind-sea is consistent with the surface current,and there is a weak relationship between surface current and swell. | HU Yuyi SHAO Weizeng SHI Jian SUN Jian JI Qiyan CAI Lina | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,6: | 2 |
