1Progress in non-invasive detection of liver fibrosis显示文摘Liver fibrosis is an important pathological precondition for hepatocellular carcinoma.The degree of hepatic fibrosis is positively correlated with liver cancer.Liver fibrosis is a series of pathological and physiological process related to liver cell necrosis and degeneration after chronic liver injury,which finally leads to extracellular matrix and collagen deposition.The early detection and precise staging of fibrosis and cirrhosis are very important for early diagnosis and timely initiation of appropriate therapeutic regimens.The risk of severe liver fibrosis finally progressing to liver carcinoma is>50%.It is known that biopsy is the gold standard for the diagnosis and staging of liver fibrosis.However,this method has some limitations,such as the potential for pain,sampling variability,and low patient acceptance.Furthermore,the necessity of obtaining a tissue diagnosis of liver fibrosis still remains controversial.An increasing number of reliable non-invasive approaches are now available that are widely applied in clinical practice,mostly in cases of viral hepatitis,resulting in a significantly decreased need for liver biopsy.In fact,the noninvasive detection and evaluation of liver cirrhosis now has good accuracy due to current serum markers,ultrasound imaging,and magnetic resonance imaging quantification techniques.A prominent advantage of the non-invasive detection and assessment of liver fibrosis is that liver fibrosis can be monitored repeatedly and easily in the same patient.Serum biomarkers have the advantages of high applicability(>95%)and good reproducibility.However,their results can be influenced by different patient conditions because none of these markers are liver-specific.The most promising techniques appear to be transient elastography and magnetic resonance elastography because they provide reliable results for the detection of fibrosis in the advanced stages,and future developments promise to increase the reliability and accuracy of the staging of hepatic fibrosis.This article aims to describe the recent progress in the development of non-invasive assessment methods for the staging of liver fibrosis,with a special emphasize on computer-aided quantitative and deep learning methods.Chengxi Li Rentao Li Wei Zhang 2018Cancer Biology & Medicine2018,15,2:39

3Dek42 encodes an RNA-binding protein that affects alternative pre-m RNA splicing and maize kernel development显示文摘RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) play an important role in post-transcriptional gene regulation. However, the functions of RBPs in plants remain poorly understood. Maize kernel mutant dek42 has small defective kernels and lethal seedlings. Dek42 was cloned by Mutator tag isolation and further confirmed by an independent mutant allele and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-CRISPR-associated protein 9 materials. Dek42 encodes an RRM_RBM48 type RNA-binding protein that localizes to the nucleus. Dek42 is constitutively expressed in various maize tissues. The dek42 mutation caused a significant reduction in the accumulation of DEK42 protein in mutant kernels. RNA-seq analysis showed that the dek42 mutation significantly disturbed the expression of thousands of genes during maize kernel development. Sequence analysis also showed that the dek42 mutation significantly changed alternative splicing in expressed genes, which were especially enriched for the U12-type intron-retained type. Yeast two-hybrid screening identified SF3a1 as a DEK42-interacting protein. DEK42 also interacts with the spliceosome component U1-70K. These results suggested that DEK42 participates in the regulation of pre-messenger RNA splicing through its interaction with other spliceosome components. 4Construction of a BAC library from cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) and identification of linkage group specific clones显示文摘A bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) library consisting of 19,200 clones with an average insert size of 105 kb has been constructed from a cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) inbred line S94,derived from a cultivar in North China. The entire library was equivalent to approximately 5 haploid cucumber genomes. To facilitate chromosome engineering and anchor the cucumber genetic linkage map to its chromosomes,15 sequence-characterized ampli?ed regions (SCAR) and seven simple sequence repeats (SSR) markers from each link-age group of cucumber were used to screen an ordered array of pooled BAC DNA with polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Fifteen mark-ers gave at least two positive clones. As a result,22 BAC clones representing 7 linkage groups of cucumber were identified,which further validated the genome coverage and utility of the library. 5Active sites in CO2 hydrogenation over confined VOx-Rh catalysts显示文摘Metal oxide-promoted Rh-based catalysts have been widely used for CO2 hydrogenation,especially for the ethanol synthesis.However,this reaction usually suffers low CO2 conversion and alcohols selectivity due to the formation of byproducts methane and CO.This paper describes an efficient vanadium oxide promoted Rh-based catalysts confined in mesopore MCM-41.The Rh-0.3VO/MCM-41 catalyst shows superior conversion(〜12%)and ethanol selectivity(〜24%)for CO2 hydrogenation.The promoting effect can be attributed to the synergism of high Rh dispersion by the confinement effect of MCM-41 and the formation of VOr-Rh interface sites.Experimental and theoretical results indicate the formation of til-CO at VOv-Rh interface sites is easily dissociated into*CH X,and then*CH X can be inserted by CO to form CH3,*CO followed by CH3*CO hydrogenation to ethanol.Guishuo Wang Ran Luo Chengsheng Yang Jimin Song Chuanye Xiong Hao Tian Zhi-Jian Zhao Rentao Mu Jinlong Gong 2019Science China Chemistry2019,62,12:4
6Entropy weight coefficient model and its application in evaluation of groundwater vulnerability of the Sanjiang Plain显示文摘The research of groundwater vulnerability is the basic work to protect the groundwater.For utilizing groundwater resource continuably,groundwater vulnerability evaluation is necessary.Useful reference to protect,exploit and utilize on groundwater resource are provided rationally.According to the real condition of Sanjiang Plain,the indexes system is established based on the traditional DRASTIC model.The new system includes the following seven indexes:Depth of Water,Net Recharge,Aquifer Media, Soil Media,Conductivity of the Aquifer,Land Utilizing Ratio and Populace Density.The related analysis appears that the system is rather reasonable.Because traditional methods,such as analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy mathematics theory,can't be avoided human interference in selection of weights,they could lead to an imprecise result.In order to evaluate the groundwater vulnerability reasonably,entropy weight coefficient method is applied for the first time,which provides a new way to groundwater vulnerability evaluation.The method is a model whose weights are insured by the calculation process,so the artificial disturb can be avoided.It has been used to evaluate the groundwater vulnerability in Sanjiang Plain.The satisfied result is acquired.Comparably,the same result is acquired by the other method named projection pursuit evaluation based on real-coded accelerating genetic algorithm.It shows that entropy weight coefficient method is applicable on groundwater vulnerability evaluation.The evaluation result can provide reference on the decision-making departments.LIU Rentao FU Qiang GAI Zhaomei 2007Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2007,14,4:4

8Defect-mediated reactivity of Pt/TiO2 catalysts:the different role of titanium and oxygen vacancies显示文摘Defects are ubiquitous in oxide supports and can often tune the catalytic property of supported metal catalysts.This work describes the distinct role of titanium and oxygen vacancies of TiO2 supports in the catalytic performance of supported Pt catalysts for CO oxidation.Pt was loaded on the TiO2 supports with oxygen vacancies(VO-TiO2)and titanium vacancies(VTiTiO2).It was found that different defects of TiO2 could distinctively modify the electron property of Pt and thereby CO adsorption strength.The strength of CO adsorption on Pt/VTi-TiO2 is enhanced,while that of Pt/VO-TiO2 becomes weaker.Additionally,the presence of defects would also promote the reducibility of catalysts.On the account of the superior redox ability,both Pt/VTi-TiO2 and Pt/VO-TiO2 exhibit a higher activity than Pt supported on normal TiO2 for CO oxidation.Quan Xiao Yanan Wang Zhi-Jian Zhao Chunlei Pei Sai Chen Lijun Gao Rentao Mu Qiang Fu Jinlong Gong 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,9:4

11Maize ZmVPP5 is a truncated Vacuole H^+-PPase that confers hypersensitivity to salt stress显示文摘In plants, Vacuole H^+-PPases(VPPs) are important Aproton pumps and encoded by multiple genes. In addition to full-length VPPs, several truncated forms are expressed, but their biological functions are unknown. In this study, we functionally characterized maize vacuole H^+-PPase 5(ZmVPP5), a truncated VPP in the maize genome. Although ZmVPP5 shares high sequence similarity with ZmVPP1 ZmVPP5 lacks the complete structure of the conserved proton transport and the inorganic pyrophosphatase-related domain. Phylogenetic analysis suggests that ZmVPP5 might be derived from an incomplete gene duplication event. ZmVPP5 is expressed in multiple tissues, and ZmVPP5 was detected in the plasma membrane, vacuole membrane and nuclei of maize cells. The overexpression of ZmVPP5 in yeast cells caused a hypersensitivity to salt stress. Transgenic maize lines with overexpressed ZmVPP5 also exhibited the salt hypersensitivity phenotype. A yeast two-hybrid analysis identified the ZmBag6 like protein as a putative ZmVPP5-interacting protein. The results of bimolecular luminescence complementation(Bi LC)assay suggest an interaction between ZmBag6-like protein and ZmVPP5 in vivo. Overall, this study suggests that ZmVPP5 might act as a VPP antagonist and participate in the cellular response to salt stress. 12Ground-active arthropod responses to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats in a desertified steppe ecosystem,China显示文摘Different microhabitats along dune slope were found to affect the distribution of plant performances and soil properties in desertified ecosystems.However,the ground-active arthropod responses to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats were largely unknown in desertified regions.At dune top,midslope and bottom,ground-active arthropods were sampled by the method of pitfall traps in addition to the herbaceous and soil measurements during spring,summer and autumn from 2012 to 2013.Ground-active arthropod had a strong dynamics in time,seasonally and yearly in responses to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats and the variations were significant higher than those of soil and herbaceous properties.The abundance distribution of dominant taxa(i.e.Melolonthidae,Carabidae,Glaphyridae,Tenebrionidae and Formicidae families)among dune microhabitats was similar between seasons within the same year,whereas they differed markedly between two sampling years with varying rainfall patterns.A significant(P<0.05)difference in total abundance,taxa richness and Shannon index among dune microhabitats was found only in certain season time,particularly in 2013;however,no significant(P>0.05)differences were found among dune microhabitats when averaged on three sampling seasons within the year of either 2012 or 2013.In all,the taxonomical structure differed considerably from the community structure in ground-active arthropod response to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats.The spatial distribution of taxonomical groups among dune microhabitats was significantly affected by inter-annual rainfall changes,whereas that of community structure was affected by both intra-and inter-annual rainfall changes in desertified ecosystems.LIU Rentao ZHU Fan Yosef STEINBERGER 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,4:2
