| 16 | Fast Intra Mode Selection in HEVC Using Statistical Model显示文摘Comprehension algorithms like High Efficiency Video Coding(HEVC)facilitates fast and efficient handling of multimedia contents.Such algorithms involve various computation modules that help to reduce the size of content but preserve the same subjective viewing quality.However,the brute-force behavior of HEVC is the biggest hurdle in the communication of multimedia content.Therefore,a novel method will be presented here to accelerate the encoding process of HEVC by making early intra mode decisions for the block.Normally,the HEVC applies 35 intra modes to every block of the frame and selects the best among them based on the RD-cost(rate-distortion).Firstly,the proposed work utilizes neighboring blocks to extract available information for the current block.Then this information is converted to the probability that tells which intra mode might be best in the current situation.The proposed model has a strong foundation as it is based on the probability rule-2 which says that the sum of probabilities of all outcomes should be 1.Moreover,it is also based on optimal stopping theory(OST).Therefore,the proposed model performs better than many existing OST and classical secretary-basedmodels.The proposed algorithms expedited the encoding process by 30.22%of the HEVC with 1.35%Bjontegaard Delta Bit Rate(BD-BR). | Junaid Tariq Ayman Alfalou Amir Ijaz Hashim Ali Imran Ashraf Hameedur Rahman Ammar Armghan Inzamam Mashood Saad Rehman | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,2: | 0 |

| 19 | Phytocompounds of Anonna muricata leaves extract and cytotoxic effects on breast cancer cells显示文摘Objective: To identify the phytochemical compounds from Annona muricata(A. muricata) and to determine their in vitro anti-proliferative activities against breast cancer cells, MCF7 and MDA-MB-231. Methods: A. muricata leaves were successively extracted by soxhlet method using n-hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol, and decocted with water. Each extract was analysed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry(GCMS) and characterized with Wiley and NIST library searches. Anti-proliferative activity of each extract was evaluated on MCF7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells using MTT assay. Results: The GCMS analysis of different solvent extracts of A. muricata leaves showed presence of different chemical groups of compounds such as steroids, terpenoids, phenolic compounds, sugars, sugars alcohol and others including vitamin E. Ethyl acetate leaves extract exhibited the lowest IC_(50) value on the MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell and n-hexane leaves extract showed the the lowest IC_(50) value on the MCF-7 breast cancer cell. Conclusion: Steroids and phenolic compounds were the main phytocompound groups identified from all A. muricata leaves extracts. | 20 | Zinc Oxide Nano Particles Integrated Kenaf/Unsaturated Polyester BioComposite显示文摘Increasing need for materials with special features have brought various new inventions,one of the most promising hope for new material with special features and functionalities is composites materials.Thus,this study report an integration of zinc nanoparticles into kenaf/polyester polymer composite to introduce new behavior to the composite.The composite behaviors were compared for mechanical,thermal,moisture absorption and biodegradability properties.Prepared Zinc Oxide nanoparticles entrenched in the kenaf/polyestaer composites net structure through chemical bonds between kenaf/ZnO/polyester resin,existence of ZnO significantly influence the mechanical and thermals properties of composites.Thermal analysis based on(TGA)response revealed the integration of ZnO nanoparticles improved the thermal stability when thermal decomposition temperature beyond 3650 C.The thermal cracking decreased with present of ZnO and increase with kenaf content(layers).The modulus,Tensile strength,break at elongation,flexural modulus,flexural strength and impact strength of the composites with higher content kenaf/ZnO nanoparticle are 560 MPa,58MPa,1.8%,1300 PMa,68 MPa and 31 MPa,respectively.Thus,addition of kenaf layers and ZnO results in larger mechanical properties enhancement,the results of the contact angle show improvement in wetting of the fibres with addition of ZnO nanoparticles. | Mohammed Mohammed Bashir O.Betar Rozyanty Rahman Aeshah M.Mohammed Azlin F.Osman Muhammed Jaafar Tijjani Adam Omar S.Dahham Uda Hashim Nik Z.Noriman | 2019 | Journal of Renewable Materials2019,7,10: | 0 |
