1Interdecadal change of summer precipitation over Eastern China around the late-1990s and associated circulation anomalies,internal dynamical causes显示文摘Observational study indicated that the summer precipitation over Eastern China experienced a notable interdecadal change around the late-1990s. Accompanying this interdecadal change, the dominant mode of anomalous precipitation switched from a meridional triple pattern to a dipole pattern, showing a 'south-flood-north-drought' structure (with the exception of the Yangtze River Valley). This interdecadal change of summer precipitation over Eastern China was associated with circulation anomalies in the middle/upper troposphere over East Asia, such as changes in winds and corresponding divergence, vertical motion and moisture transportation (divergence), which all exhibit remarkable meridional dipole structures. Furthermore, on the internal dynamic and thermodynamic aspects, the present study investigated the influence of the midtroposphere zonal and meridional flow changes over East Asia on the interdecadal change around the late-1990s. Results suggested that, during 1999-2010, the East Asia subtropical westerly jet weakened and shifted poleward, forming a meridional dipole feature in anomalous zonal flow. This anomalous zonal flow, on one hand, induced changes in three teleconnection patterns over the Eurasian continent, namely the 'Silk Road' pattern along the subtropical upper troposphere westerly jet, the East Asia/Pacific (EAP) pattern along the East Asian coast, and the Eurasia (EU) pattern along the polar jet; on the other hand, it brought about cold advection over Northern China, and warm advection over Southern China in the mid-troposphere. 2A data-driven health indicator extraction method for aircraft air conditioning system health monitoring显示文摘Prognostics and Health Management(PHM) has become a very important tool in modern commercial aircraft. Considering limited built-in sensing devices on the legacy aircraft model,one of the challenges for airborne system health monitoring is to find an appropriate health indicator that is highly related to the actual degradation state of the system. This paper proposed a novel health indicator extraction method based on the available sensor parameters for the health monitoring of Air Conditioning System(ACS) of a legacy commercial aircraft model. Firstly, a specific Airplane Condition Monitoring System(ACMS) report for ACS health monitoring is defined. Then a non-parametric modeling technique is adopted to calculate the health indicator based on the raw ACMS report data. The proposed method is validated on a single-aisle commercial aircraft widely used for short and medium-haul routes, using more than 6000 ACMS reports collected from a fleet of aircraft during one year. 3Synthesis, structure and luminescent properties of yellow phosphor La3Si6N11 :Ce^3+ for high power white-LEDs显示文摘A series of high phase purity blue light excitable yellow-emitting La_(3-x)Si_6 N_(11):xCe^(3+) phosphors were synthesized by the high temperature solid state reactions method. The structure and luminescent properties were investigated. The phase structure was studied by means of X-ray diffraction, structures refinements and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The phosphors effectively excited by the light of450 nm and show intense yellow emission at 535 nm with FWHM of 115 nm corresponding to the5 d →~2 F_(5/2) and 5 d →~2 F_(7/2) transitions of Ce^(3+). In addition,the optimized La_(2.86)Si_6 N_(11):0.14 Ce^(3+) exhibits a weak thermal quenching, which remains 98.2% of the initial emission intensity when heated to 200 ℃,the thermal quenching properties exhibit a modest decline when the temperature returned to room temperature. 4Big Grain3, encoding a purine permease, regulates grain size via modulating cytokinin transport in rice显示文摘Grain size is an important agronomic trait affecting grain yield,but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain to be elucidated.Here,we isolated a dominant mutant,big grainy(bg3-D),which exhibits a remarkable increase of grain size caused by activation of the PURINE PERMEASE gene,OsPUP4.BC3/OSPUP4 is predominantly expressed in vascular tissues and is specifically suppressed by exogenous cytokinin application.Hormone profiling revealed that the distribution of different cytokinin forms,in roots and shoots of the bg3-D mutant,is altered.Quantitative reverse transcription-PCR(qRT-PCR)analysis indicated that expression of rice cytokinin type-A RESPONSE REGULATOR(OsRR)genes is enhanced in the roots of the bgj-D mutant.These results suggest that OSPUP4 might contribute to the long-distance transport of cytokinin,by reinforcing cytokinin loading into vascular bundle cells.Furthermore,plants overexpressing OsPUP7,the closest homolog of OsPUP4,also exhibited a similar phenotype to the bg3-D mutant.Interestingly,subcellular localization demonstrated that OSPUP4 was localized on the plasma membrane,whereas OSPUP7 was localized to the endoplasmic reticulum.Based on these findings,we propose that OSPUP4 and OSPUP7 function in a linear pathway to direct cytokinin cell-to-cell transport,affecting both its long-distance movement and local allocation.Yunhua Xiao Dapu Liu Guoxia Zhang Shaopei Gao Linchuan Liu Fan Xu Ronghui Che Yiqin Wang Hongning Tong Chengcai Chu 2019Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2019,61,5:7
5Broadband near-infrared luminescence and energy transfer of Cr^(3+),Ce^(3+) co-doped Ca_(2)LuHf_(2)Al_(3)O_(12) phosphors显示文摘Broadband near-infrared phosphors are highly desirable for food testing.Targeted Ca_(2)LuHf_(2)Al_(3)O_(12):Cr^(3+)(CLHA:Cr^(3+)) and Ca_(2)LuHf_(2)Al_(3)O_(12):Ce^(3+),Cr^(3+)(CLHA:Ce^(3+),Cr^(^(3+))) phosphors were synthesized by the conventional high-temperature solid state reaction.The CLHA:Cr^(3+)phosphor,with a good thermal stability,shows a red shift owing to radiation reabsorption and non-radiative transition with increasing Cr^(3+)content.For co-doped sample,the emission intensity of Cr^(3+)can be enhanced by three times due to the energy transfer from Ce^(3+)to Cr^(3+),which can be evidenced by a significant overlap between the PLE of Cr^(3+)single-doped phosphor and the PL of Ce^(3+)single-doped phosphor.In addition,the mechanism of energy transfer is identified as a quadrupole-quadrupole interaction according to decay Lifetime and Dexter’s energy transfer formula.The broadband NIR emission peaked at 775 nm of CLHA:Cr^(3+),Ce^(3+)phosphor shows a bright prospect in nondestructive quality-control analysis systems for food.Jinpin Wu Weidong Zhuang Ronghui Liu Yuanhong Liu Tongyu Gao Chunpei Yan Min Cao Junhang Tian Xiaoxia Chen 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,3:6
6White-light emitting single-phase phosphor La_3Si_6N_(11):Dy^(3+),Tb^(3+):Color tunable emission, thermal stability and energy transfer process显示文摘A novel white-light emitting single-phase phosphor La_3 Si_6 N_(11):Dy^(3+),exhibiting two emission peaks centering at 475 and 575 nm, was prepared via conventional solid-state reactions. The structure and morphology of La_3 Si_6 N_(11):Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+) were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The emission colors can be tuned from white to yellow-green through increasing the Tb^(3+) concentration in La_3 Si_6 N_(11):Dy^(3+),Tb^(3+), The mechanism of energy transfer(ET) from Dy^(3+) to Tb^(3+) is confirmed according to the excitation,emission spectra and decay lifetimes curve. 8A New Method Based on Association Rules Mining and Geo-filter for Mining Spatial Association Knowledge显示文摘Association rule mining methods, as a set of important data mining tools, could be used for mining spatial association rules of spatial data. However, applications of these methods are limited for mining results containing large number of redundant rules. In this paper, a new method named Geo-Filtered Association Rules Mining(GFARM) is proposed to effectively eliminate the redundant rules. An application of GFARM is performed as a case study in which association rules are discovered between building land distribution and potential driving factors in Wuhan, China from 1995 to 2015. Ten sets of regular sampling grids with different sizes are used for detecting the influence of multi-scales on GFARM. Results show that the proposed method can filter 50%–70% of redundant rules. 9Green and red phosphor for LED backlight in wide color gamut LCD显示文摘Wide color gamut(WCG) backlight for liquid crystal display(LCD) utilizing white light-emitting diodes(LED) has attracted considerable attention for their high efficiency and color reduction.In this review,recent developments in crystal structure,luminescence and applications of phosphors for wide color gamut LED backlight are introduced.As novel red phosphors,Mn4+activate fluoride and aluminate phosphors are advanced in quantum efficiency,thermal quenching and color saturation for their characteristic spectrum with broad excitation band and linear emission.The crystal structure and fluorescence properties of Mn4+doped fluosilicate,fluorogermanate,fluotitanate,as well as Sr4 Al14O25,CaAl12O19 and BaMgAl10O17 phosphors are discussed in detail.A serial of narrow-band red-emitting Eu2+,Eu3+and Pr3+-doped nitride silicates and molybdate phosphors are also introduced.Rare-earth-doped oxynitride and silicate green-emitting phosphors have attracted more and more attention because of the wide excitation,narrow emission,high quenching temperature,high quantum efficiency,such as β-sialon:Eu2+,Ba3Si6O12N2:Eu2+,MSi2O2N2:Eu2+(M=Ca,Sr,Ba),y-AlON:Mn2+and Ca3Sc2Si3O12:Ce3+.All above phosphors demonstrate their adaptability in wide color gamut LCD display.Especially for Mn4+doped fluosilicate red phosphor and β-sialon:Eu2+green phosphor.To achieve an ultra-high color gamut in white LED backlight and against the OLED,innovative narrow-band-emission red and green phosphor materials with independent intellectual property rights are continuously pursed.Yunpeng Zhang Lin Luo Guantong Chen Yuanhong Liu Ronghui Liu Xiaochun Chen 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,1:4

11Comparison of benzothiazole-based dyes for sensitive DNA detection显示文摘For efficient and quantitative DNA detection,fluorescence staining is the most often explored approach,which relies on non-covalent binding of dyes with double stranded DNA(dsDNA).Ethidium bromide(EB)is the most classic DNA stain,but suffers from its high carcinogenicity.A series of less toxic alternatives were developed,many of which contain the core structure of the benzothiazole ring.However,the relationship between the structure and the DNA detection performance was not illustrated.Herein,five benzothiazole dyes,namely thiazole orange,SYBR Green I,Pico Green,SYBR Safe,and thioflavine-T,were compared for DNA detection through direct fluorescence and gel electrophoresis,with particular focus on the structure-performance relationship.It turned out that SYBR Green I is currently the best choice for DNA detection.The results in this work may be useful for future DNA-staining dye developments.Yanying Wang Ronghui Zhou Wenxue Liu Chao Liu Peng Wu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,11:4
12Effect of fluxes on synthesis and luminescence properties of BaSi_2O_2N_2:Eu^(2+) oxynitride phosphors显示文摘Eu^(2+) activated BaSi_2 O_2 N_2 oxynitride bluish-green phosphor was synthesized adopting conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction method, in which BaF_2, Na_2 CO_3 and NH_4 Cl were used as the fluxes.The phase formation, size distribution and microscopic morphology were characterized to investigate the influence of adding fluxes on photo luminescence properties. The results indicate that with the addition of BaF_2 flux, the particle morphology becomes regular and size distribution narrows and the phase purity of BaSi_2 O_2 N_2:Eu^(2+) phosphor can be improved effectively. The photoluminescence intensity of BaSi_2 O_2 N_2:Eu^(2+) phosphor with BaF_2 as flux gets enhanced obviously, which is much higher than that of Na_2 CO_3, NH_4 Cl and without flux. The optimum content of BaF2 flux is 4 wt%, and the maximum photoluminescence intensity of the BaSi_2 O_2 N_2:Eu^(2+) phosphor prepared with BaF_2 flux rises to 141%,meanwhile, the phosphors with BaF_2 flux exhibits low thermal quenching. 13Tailoring the Meso-Structure of Gold Nanoparticles in Keratin-Based Activated Carbon Toward High-Performance Flexible Sensor显示文摘Flexible biosensors with high accuracy and reliable operation in detecting pH and uric acid levels in body fluids are fabricated using well-engineered metaldoped porous carbon as electrode material.The gold nanoparticles@N-doped carbon in situ are prepared using wool keratin as both a novel carbon precursor and a stabilizer.The conducting electrode material is fabricated at 500℃ under customized parameters,which mimics A-B type(two different repeating units) polymeric material and displays excellent deprotonation performance(pH sensitivity).The obtained pH sensor exhibits high pH sensitivity of 57 mV/pH unit and insignificant relative standard deviation of 0.088%.Conversely,the composite carbon material with sp^2 structure prepared at 700℃ is doped with nitrogen and gold nanoparticles,which exhibits good conductivity and electrocatalytic activity for uric acid oxidation.The uric acid sensor has linear response over a range of 1-150 μM and a limit of detection 0.1 μM.These results will provide new avenues where biological material will be the best start,which can be useful to target contradictory applications through molecular engineering at mesoscale.Aniruddha BPatil Zhaohui Meng Ronghui Wu Liyun Ma Zijie Xu Chenyang Shi Wu Qiu Qiang Liu Yifan Zhang Youhui Lin Naibo Lin Xiang Yang Liu 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,9:3
14Differences and Links between the East Asian and South Asian Summer Monsoon Systems:Characteristics and Variability显示文摘This paper analyzes the differences in the characteristics and spatio–temporal variabilities of summertime rainfall and water vapor transport between the East Asian summer monsoon(EASM) and South Asian summer monsoon(SASM) systems. The results show obvious differences in summertime rainfall characteristics between these two monsoon systems. The summertime rainfall cloud systems of the EASM show a mixed stratiform and cumulus cloud system, while cumulus cloud dominates the SASM. These differences may be caused by differences in the vertical shear of zonal and meridional circulations and the convergence of water vapor transport fluxes. Moreover, the leading modes of the two systems' summertime rainfall anomalies also differ in terms of their spatiotemporal features on the interannual and interdecadal timescales. Nevertheless, several close links with respect to the spatiotemporal variabilities of summertime rainfall and water vapor transport exist between the two monsoon systems. The first modes of summertime rainfall in the SASM and EASM regions reveal a significant negative correlation on the interannual and the interdecadal timescales. This close relationship may be linked by a meridional teleconnection in the regressed summertime rainfall anomalies from India to North China through the southeastern part over the Tibetan Plateau, which we refer to as the South Asia/East Asia teleconnection pattern of Asian summer monsoon rainfall. 16Carbon interstitial defects causing emission red shift in YAG:Ce phosphor:First-principles calculation显示文摘Y_3 Al_5 O_(12):Ce3+ is the most famous phosphor material due to its excellent photolumincent properties.Here,through first-principles calculation,the effect of carbon interstitial defects on Y_3 Al_5 O_(12):Ce3+phosphor was investigated. It is found that the carbon interstitials tend to occupy the next-nearest sites of Ce^(3+) ion in Y_3 Al_5 O_(12):Ce3+ lattice. Specially,these interstitial defects can shorten the Ce3+-O^(2-) bond length, leading to a larger crystal field splitting of 5 d orbital of the Ce^(3+) atom and bigger 5 d centroid shift.These two factors cause the emission spectrum of Y_3 Al_5 O_(12)(C):Ce^(3+) red shift compared with that of Y_3 Al_5 O_(12):Ce3+. Moreover, with our comparison experiment, we find that the Y_3 Al_5 O_(12)(C):Ce3+ has an obvious red shift compared with that of Y_3 Al_5 O_(12):Ce^(3+) system,which is in accord with our first principles calculation. 18Effect of low dose fractionated radiation on reversing cisplatin resistance in ovarian carcinoma via VEGF and mTOR显示文摘Objective To investigate the mechanism of low-dose fractionated radiation on reversing cisplatin resistance in ovarian carcinoma via vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) in vivo.Methods Human cisplatin-resistant ovarian carcinoma cells(SKOV3/DDP) were injected into nude mice to establish ovarian cancer xenografts. The mice were randomly divided into three groups: a control group, a low-dose fractionated radiation(LDRFT) group, and a conventional-dose radiation group. Each group was exposed to 0 cGy, 50 cGy, and 200 cGy radiation, respectively, for 4 weeks, up to a total of 8.0 Gy. Mice in the LDFRT group were irradiated twice daily with 6 hour intermissions on day 1 and 2 of every week for a total of 4 weeks. Conventional-dose group mice were given a single 200 cGy radiation dose on the first day each week for a total of 4 weeks. Maximum horizontal and vertical diameters of the tumors were measured every other day and used to create a tumor growth curve. After 4 weeks of irradiation, we dissected the tumor tissue and calculated the tumor inhibition rate. RT-PCR detected the expression of VEGF and m TOR, and Western blots detected the expression of corresponding proteins.Results Both LDRFT and conventional-dose radiation inhibited the growth of tumor cells, and growth of tumors in the two radiation groups compared with growth in the control group were significantly different(P < 0.05). The rate of tumor inhibition in the LDFRT group(37.5603%) was lower than in the conventionaldose group(47.4446%), but there was no significant difference(P 0.05). Compared with the other two groups, the m RNA expression of VEGF was significantly lower in the LDFRT group(P < 0.05), but there was no obvious difference between the conventional-dose and control groups. There was no obvious difference in the m RNA expression of m TOR among the three groups, but the expression of the protein p-m TOR was lower in the LDFRT group(P < 0.05), as confirmed by Western blotting.Conclusion LDFRT is as effective at inhibiting the growth of tumor cells as conventional-dose radiation. 19Enhanced luminescence performances of Mn^(4+)-activated Sr_(4)Al_(14)O_(25)red phosphors by doping with Sc^(3+)ions显示文摘A series of non-rare earth Mn^(4+)-activated strontium aluminate phosphors Sr_(4)Al_(14)O_(25):Mn^(4+)co-doped with Sc^(3+)ions were successfully synthesized by a high-temperature solid-state reaction method.XRD result reveals that there is no introduction of additional phase but expansion of lattice with incorporation of Sc34 ions.Excitation and emission spectrum measurement shows that the synthesized phosphors can be efficiently excited by near-ultraviolet and blue light,and a deep red emission centered at 652 nm with a narrow full width at half maximum(FWHM)can be obtained,which is attributed to the transition^(2)E→^(4)A_(2)of Mn^(4+)ions.In addition,the crystal field strength parameter(Dq)and Racah parameters(B,C)and energies of states were calculated based on experimental data.Moreover,the luminous intensity of Sr_(4)Al_(14-x)SCxO_(25):Mn^(4+)is enhanced and increased by 60%compared with Mn^(4+)single incorporated sample at x=0.06.A phenomenon of redshift is observed in the excitation spectrum and discussed systematically.Finally,the mechanism of the positive effects with Sc^(3+)ions incorporated into lattice is discussed in detail.All the results suggest that the Sr_(4)Al_(13.94)Sc_(0.06)O_(25):Mn^(4+)phosphor will become one of the great candidates for backlight of LCD.Lin Luo Ronghui Liu Yuanhong Liu Weidong Zhuang Yanfeng Li Shaowei Qin 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,4:1
20Magnetic Field Analytical Model for Magnetic Harmonic Gears Using the Fractional Linear Transformation Method显示文摘Magnetic harmonic gears with high gear ratios exhibit high torque densities.However,the revolution and rotation of the eccentric rotor makes the magnetic field analysis complex.In this study,an analytical model of magnetic fields for magnetic harmonic gears is developed by using the fractional linear transformation method.The transformation formula is accurate in theory and suitable for the analysis of magnetic fields with large eccentricity.The rotor eccentricity region in the z-plane is mapped onto a uniform region in the w-plane.The magnetic field solutions are obtained by modulating the magnetic field distributions without rotor eccentricity with the relative permeance function derived from the effect of rotor eccentricity.The torque of magnetic harmonic gears is calculated from the radial and tangential components of the air-gap magnetic fields.Results of the finite element method and prototype test confirm the validity of the analytical prediction.Yuejin Zhang Junda Zhang Ronghui Liu 2019Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2019,5,1:1
