1Growth inhibition and apoptosis induction Sulindac on Human gastric cancer cells显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the effects of sulindac in inducing growth inhibition and apoptosis of human gastric cancer cells in comparison with human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)cells.METHODS: The human gastric cancer cell lines MKN45 and MKN28 and human hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines HepG2and SMMC7721 were used for the study. Anti-proliferative effect was measured by MTT assay, and apoptosis was determined by Hoechst-33258 staining, electronography and DNA fragmentation. The protein of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX(2) and Bcl-2 were detected by Westem dot blotting.RESULTS: Sulindac could initiate growth inhibition and apoptosis of MKN45, MKN28, HepG2 and SMMC7721 cells in a dose-and time-dependent manner. Growth inhibitory activity and apoptosis were more sensitive in HepG2 cells than in SMMC7721 cells, MKN45 and MKN28 cells. After 24hours incubation with sulindac at 2mmol. L-1 and 4mmol.L-1, the level of COX-2 and Bcl-2 protein were lowered in MKN45, SMMC7721 and HepG2 cells but not in MKN28 cells.CONCLUSION: Sulindac could inhibit the growth of gastric cancer cells and HCC cells effectively in vitro by apoptosis induction, which was associated with regression of COX-2and Bcl-2 expression. The growth inhibition and apoptosis of HCC cells were greater then that of human gastric cancer cells. 2Study on the function of pharynx & upper esophageal sphincter in globus hystericus显示文摘AIM: Globus pharyngeus is not an uncommon symptom.Presently, its unclear dated pathophysiology remains unclearand the disease can not be evaluated correctly with routinediagnostic methods. The objective of this study is to establishthe normal values of pharyngeal and UES pressure,pharyngeal transit time in healthy volunteers and to comparethe differences betweer healthy volunteers and patients withglobus pharyngeus.METHODS: Twenty-four healthy volunteers and thirty-twopatients clinically diagnosed as globus pharyngeus enteredthe study. Pressures of pharynx and UES were measured.Pharyngeal transit time was measured by videofluoroscopicprocedure.RESULTS: Normal pressure of pharynx, and normal restingpressure of UES were 157.81±63.86 mmHg and 68.33±37.56 mmHg, respectively. The corresponding values inthe patients were 175.50±93.47 mmHg and 71.38±41.42mmHg. The pharyngeal transit time was 1.44±0.30 s innormal control group, among them there were 4 caseswith stasis of barium in the valleculae and one in the piriformsinus. No laryngeal penetration or aspiration was found.In the patient group, the pharyngeal transit time was 1.37±0.41 s, among them there were 6 cases with stasis ofbarium in the valleculae and 5 in the piriform sinus. 9 caseshad laryngeal penetration and 2 had aspiration. There wereno statistical differences of pressures of pharynx, UES andthe pharyngeal transit time between the two groups. Butthere was an association between laryngeal penetrationand globus pharyngeus.CONCLUSION: Radiographic examination of the pharynxshow specific findings of pharyngeal dysfunction in patientswith globus pharyngeus. UES pressure is normal in mostpatients. 4A potential red-emitting phosphor Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+):Luminescence properties,thermal stability and applications for white LEDs显示文摘A novel red-emitting phosphor tantalate Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)was synthesized by a solid-state reaction.The purity and surface morphology of the phosphors were characterized.The Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)phosphors show a sharp emission peak at 612 nm under near-ultraviolet(n-UV) at 395 nm because of the ^(5)D0→^(7)F_(2) transition of Eu^(3+).The optimal Eu^(3+)doping concentration in Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) is 40 mol% and the critical energy-transfer distance of Eu^(3+)ions was calculated to be 0.9 nm.The emission spectra of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu_(3+)from 300 to 480 K were investigated.The thermal-quenching temperature(T_(0.5)) of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)is above 480 K.The color purity of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)is as high as 99.8%.The luminescence lifetime of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)was also discussed.The high color purity and high thermal stability of Eu^(3+)-doped Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) phosphors contribute to its application value in white lightemitting diodes(w-LEDs).Ka Ding Siru A Shuo Pang Leyan Shan Yaqi Zhang Pengfei Sun Bin Deng Ruijin Yu 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7:4

6The global registry of COVID-19 clinical trials: indicating the design of traditional Chinese medicine clinical trials显示文摘Objective:To analyze the registration information of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)related clinical trials from all the clinical trial registry accepted by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors(ICMJE).Methods:All the database of ICMJE-accepted clinical trial registry platform were searched for COVID-19 related clinical trials that registered from December 8,2019 to February 19,2020.Results:All the database totally contained data of 209 COVID-19 related clinical trials,including 66(31.6%)traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)related studies and 143(68.4%)non-TCM related studies.176(84.2%)clinical trials were registered in ChiCTR,as 33(15.8%)were registered in ClinicalTrials.gov.There were 152(72.7%)intervention trials,including 9(4.3%in total)preventive trials,136(65.1%in total)therapeutic trials and 7(3.3%in total)convalescent trials.Conclusion:At the present stage,clinical studies are still aiming at exploring the effective treatment of COVID-19,and the existing treatments need more high-quality clinical evidence supporting.Traditional Chinese medicine may have played an important role in all stages of the epidemic preventing and control,and the enthusiasm of carrying out scientific research has also been greatly improved.The relevant policies of clinical trial registration should be popularized among researchers,including traditional Chinese medicine researchers.And the methodological quality of clinical trials’design urges improving.Xuxu Wei Mengzhu Zhao Chen Zhao Xiaoyu Zhang Ruijin Qiu Yiyi Lin Yang Sun Manke Guan Hongcai Shang 2020TMR Modern Herbal Medicine2020,3,3:1

11Usefulness of an algorithm for endoscopic retrieval of proximally migrated 5Fr and 7Fr pancreatic stents显示文摘BACKGROUND:Proximal migration of pancreatic stent (PMPS)is an infrequent event but its management can be technically challenging and there are no standard retrieval methods.This study aimed to determine the results of an endoscopic stent retrieval algorithm in terms of feasibility and efficacy of the endoscopic procedure. METHODS:During the period from January 2008 to December 2009,15 patients(8 women and 7 men with a mean age of 51.9 years)with PMPS were included in this study.Stent retrieval was approached initially with balloon extraction followed by rat-tooth forceps and basket.A rescue approach such as using a stent retriever was attempted when other approaches failed. RESULTS:All the PMPSs(six 5Fr,nine 7Fr)were retrieved successfully within one ERCP session.Balloon extraction was successful in 9(60%)patients.In the 6 failed cases of balloon extraction,wire-guided rat-tooth forceps grasp was successful in 4,and stone extraction basket grasp was successful in 1 in whom forceps grasp failed.One stent was finally rescued with a stent retriever when balloon extraction,forceps and basket grasp all failed.In patients with successful balloon extraction,44.4% (4/9)developed post-ERCP hyperamylasemia but none of them developed post-procedure pancreatitis. 12Digital Twin-Assisted Knowledge Distillation Framework for Heterogeneous Federated Learning显示文摘In this paper,to deal with the heterogeneity in federated learning(FL)systems,a knowledge distillation(KD)driven training framework for FL is proposed,where each user can select its neural network model on demand and distill knowledge from a big teacher model using its own private dataset.To overcome the challenge of train the big teacher model in resource limited user devices,the digital twin(DT)is exploit in the way that the teacher model can be trained at DT located in the server with enough computing resources.Then,during model distillation,each user can update the parameters of its model at either the physical entity or the digital agent.The joint problem of model selection and training offloading and resource allocation for users is formulated as a mixed integer programming(MIP)problem.To solve the problem,Q-learning and optimization are jointly used,where Q-learning selects models for users and determines whether to train locally or on the server,and optimization is used to allocate resources for users based on the output of Q-learning.Simulation results show the proposed DT-assisted KD framework and joint optimization method can significantly improve the average accuracy of users while reducing the total delay.Xiucheng Wang Nan Cheng Longfei Ma Ruijin Sun Rong Chai Ning Lu 2023China Communications2023,20,2:0
13Synthesis and optical properties of novel apatite-type NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)yellow-emitting fluorophosphate phosphors for white LEDs显示文摘In this study,novel yellow-emitting fluorophosphate NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F phosphors doped with different concentrations of Dy^(3+)ions were first obtained via high-temperature solid-state reaction.The crystal structure,phase purity,particle morphology,photoluminescence(PL)properties,thermal stability,and luminescence decay curves of the resulting phosphors were then characterized in detail.Under the excitation of 349 nm,the three dominant peaks of the NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)are centered at 480 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(15/2)),577 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(13/2)),and 662 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)-^(6)H_(11/2)).The optimal doping concentration of Dy^(3+)ions in the NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:xDy^(3+)phosphors is x=5 mol%.The phosphors show excellent thermal stability with high activation energy(Ea=0.32 eV).Eventually,the synthesized white lightemitting diode(w-LED)demonstrates the Commission International de L’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinates of(0.341,0.334),a good correlated color temperature(CCT)of 5083 K,and a high color rendering index(Ra)of 92.Revealing its potential as yellow-emitting phosphors,the feasibility of the fabricated apatite-type NaCa_(3)Bi(PO_(4))_(3)F:Dy^(3+)fluorophosphate phosphors was confirmed for wLEDs.Yuan Wang Guangliang Lu Yang Qiu Wen Sun Siqi Qin Yifang Lin Bin Deng Dan zhang Ruijin Yu 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,12:0
14Eu^2+-doped Sr5(PO4)3Br blue-emitting phosphor with high color purity for near-UV-pumped white light-emitting diodes显示文摘Eu^(2+)-doped bromophosphateapatite Sr_5(PO_4)3 Br phosphors were synthesized by the conventional hightemperature solid-state reaction.The crystal structure and luminescence properties of the phosphors,as well as their thermal stability and CIE chromaticity coordinates were systematically investigated.Photoluminescence spectra of Sr_5(PO_4)3 Br:Eu^(2+) exhibit a single blue emission at 450 nm under the excitation of 345 nm,which is ascribed to the 4 f-5 d transition of Eu^(2+).The phosphor shows very good thermal stability; The CIE color coordinates are very close to those of BaMgAl_(10)O_(17):Eu^(2+)(BAM).All the properties indicate that the blue-emitting Sr_5(PO_4)_3 Br:Eu^(2+) phosphor has potential application in white LEDs.Zhiwen Gao Shihua Liu Pengfei Sun Jung Hyun Jeong Ruijin Yu Bin Deng 2018Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,9:0
