| 1 | Laser-Induced Graphene:En Route to Smart Sensing显示文摘The discovery of laser-induced graphene(LIG) from polymers in 2014 has aroused much attention in recent years.A broad range of applications, including batteries, catalysis, sterilization, and separation, have been explored. The advantages of LIG technology over conventional graphene synthesis methods are conspicuous, which include designable patterning, environmental friendliness, tunable compositions, and controllable morphologies. In addition,LIG possesses high porosity, great flexibility, and mechanical robustness, and excellent electric and thermal conductivity. The patternable and printable manufacturing process and the advantageous properties of LIG illuminate a new pathway for developing miniaturized graphene devices. Its use in sensing applications has grown swiftly from a single detection component to an integrated smart detection system. In this minireview,we start with the introduction of synthetic efforts related to the fabrication of LIG sensors. Then,we highlight the achievement of LIG sensors for the detection of a diversity of stimuli with a focus on the design principle and working mechanism.Future development of the techniques toward in situ and smart detection of multiple stimuli in widespread applications will be discussed. | Libei Huang Jianjun Su Yun Song Ruquan Ye | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,11: | 4 |
| 2 | Transition metal dichalcogenide-based mixed-dimensional heterostructures for visible-light-driven photocatalysis:Dimensionality and interface engineering显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)are emerging as promising building blocks of high-performance photocatalysts for visible-light-driven water splitting because of their unique physical, chemical, electronic, and optical properties. This review focuses on the fundamentals of 2D TMDC-based mixed-dimensional heterostructures and their unique properties as visible-light-driven photocatalysts from the perspective of dimensionality and interface engineering.First,we discuss the approaches and advantages of surface modification and functionalization of 2D TMDCs for photocatalytic water splitting under visible-light illumination. We then classify the strategies for improving the photocatalytic activity of 2D TMDCs via combination with various low-dimensional nanomaterials to form mixed-dimensional heterostructures.Further,we highlight recent advances in the use of these mixed-dimensional heterostructures as high-efficiency visible-light-driven photocatalysts, particularly focusing on synthesis routes, modification approaches, and physiochemical mechanisms for improving their photoactivity. Finally,we provide our perspectives on future opportunities and challenges in promoting real-world photocatalytic applications of 2D TMDC-based heterostructures. | Xiaorong Gan Dangyuan Lei Ruquan Ye Huimin Zhao Kwok-Yin Wong | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,6: | 2 |
| 3 | Recent development of nanomaterials for carbon dioxide electroreduction显示文摘Electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to produce value‐added products has received tremendous research attention in recent years. With research efforts across the globe, remarkable advancement has been achieved, including the improvement of selectivity for the reduction products, the realization of efficient reduction beyond two electrons, and the delivery of industrially relevant current densities. In this review,we introduce the recent development of nanomaterials for CO_(2)RR,including the zero‐dimensional graphene quantum dots, two‐dimensional materials such as metal chalcogenides and metal/covalent organic framework, singleatom catalysts, and nanostructured metal catalysts. The engineering of materials into three‐dimensional structure will also be discussed. Finally,we will provide a summary of the catalytic performance and perspectives on future development. | Jianjun Su Yong Liu Yun Song Libei Huang Weihua Guo Xiaohu Cao Yubing Dou Le Cheng Geng Li Qiushi Hu Ruquan Ye | 2022 | SmartMat2022,3,1: | 1 |
| 4 | Electroreduction of Carbon Dioxide by Heterogenized Cofacial Porphyrins显示文摘Great attention has been paid to cofacial porphyrins due to their many unique advantages over their monomeric analogs. However, their synthesis is usually complicated. In this work,a facile impregnation method for preparing heterogenized, cofacially stacked porphyrins is proposed. An anionic porphyrin is introduced as an underlayer for immobilization of cationic cobalt porphyrin via electrostatic force. The metal center of the underlying molecule contributes to the electronic structure of the upper cationic cobalt porphyrin.Screening reveals the anionic iron porphyrin to be the most efficient underlayer molecule, lowering the activation energy barrier of CO_(2) electroreduction, with an improved turnover frequency by 74%to8.0 s~(-1)at-0.6 V versus RHE. | Pengfei Tian Jianjun Su Yun Song Ruquan Ye Minghui Zhu | 2022 | Transactions of Tianjin University2022,28,1: | 0 |
