1A CANONICAL CONSTRUCTION OF H^m-NONCONFORMING TRIANGULAR FINITE ELEMENTS显示文摘We design a family of 2D H^m-nonconforming finite elements using the full P_(2m-3) degree polynomial space, for solving 2 mth elliptic partial differential equations. The consistent error is estimated and the optimal order of convergence is proved. 2Standard pancreatoduodenectomy versus extended pancreatoduodenectomy with modified retroperitoneal nerve resection in patients with pancreatic head cancer:a multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:The extent of pancreatoduodenectomy for pancreatic head cancer remains controversial,and more high-level clinical evidence is needed.This study aimed to evaluate the outcome of extended pancreatoduodenectomy(EPD)with retroperitoneal nerve resection in pancreatic head cancer.Methods:This multicenter randomized trial was performed at 6 Chinese highvolume hospitals that enrolled patients between October 3,2012,and September 21,2017.Four hundred patients with stage I or II pancreatic head cancer and without specific pancreatic cancer treatments(preoperative chemotherapy or chemoradiation)within three months were randomly assigned to undergo standard pancreatoduodenectomy(SPD)or EPD,with the latter followed by dissection of additional lymph nodes(LNs),nerves and soft tissues 270◦on the right side surrounding the superior mesenteric artery and celiac axis.The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS)by intention-to-treat(ITT).The secondary endpoints were disease-free survival(DFS),mortality,morbidity,and postoperative pain intensity.Results:TheR1 ratewas slightly lower with EPD(8.46%)thanwith SPD(12.56%).The morbidity and mortality rates were similar between the two groups.The median OS was similar in the EPD and SPD groups by ITT in the whole study cohort(23.0 vs.20.2 months,P=0.100),while the median DFS was superior in the EPD group(16.1 vs.13.2 months,P=0.031).Patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL had significantly improved OS and DFS with EPD(EPD vs.SPD,30.8 vs.20.9 months,P=0.009;23.4 vs.13.5 months,P<0.001).The EPD group exhibited significantly lower locoregional(16.48%vs.35.20%,P<0.001)andmesenteric LNrecurrence rates(3.98%vs.10.06%,P=0.022).The EPD group exhibited less back pain 6 months postoperation than the SPD group.Conclusions:EPD for pancreatic head cancer did not significantly improve OS,but patients with EPD treatment had significantly improved DFS.In the subgroup analysis,improvements in bothOS and DFS in the EPD armwere observed in patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL.EPD could be used as an effective surgical procedure for patients with pancreatic head cancer,especially those with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL.Qing Lin Shangyou Zheng Xianjun Yu Meifu Chen Yu Zhou Quanbo Zhou Chonghui Hu Jing Gu Zhongdong Xu LinWang Yimin Liu Qingyu Liu MinWang Guolin Li He Cheng Dongkai Zhou Guodong Liu Zhiqiang Fu Yu Long Yixiong Li Weilin Wang Renyi Qin Zhihua Li Rufu Chen 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,2:3
3On the Full C_(1)-Q_(k) Finite Element Spaces on Rectangles and Cuboids显示文摘We study the extensions of the Bogner-Fox-Schmit element to the whole family of Q_(k) continuously differentiable finite elements on rectangular grids,for all k≥3,in 2D and 3D.We show that the newly defined C_(1) spaces are maximal in the sense that they contain all C_(1)-Q_(k) functions of piecewise polynomials.We give examples of other extensions of C_(1)-Q_(k) elements.The result is consistent with the Strang’s conjecture(restricted to the quadrilateral grids in 2D and 3D).Some numerical results are provided on the family of C_(1) elements solving the biharmonic equation.Shangyou Zhang 2010Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2010,2,6:2

6A family of 3D H^2-nonconforming tetrahedral finite elements for the biharmonic equation显示文摘In this article,a family of H^2-nonconforming finite elements on tetrahedral grids is constructed for solving the biharmonic equation in 3 D.In the family,the Pl polynomial space is enriched by some high order polynomials for all l≥3 and the corresponding finite element solution converges at the order l-1 in H2 norm.Moreover,the result is improved for two low order cases by using P6 and P7 polynomials to enrich P4 and P5 polynomial spaces,respectively.The error estimate is proved.The numerical results are.provided to confirm the theoretical findings.Jun Hu Shudan Tian Shangyou Zhang 2020Science China Mathematics2020,63,8:2
7AN ERROR ANALYSIS METHOD SPP-BEAM AND A CONSTRUCTION GUIDELINE OF NONCONFORMING FINITE ELEMENTS FOR FOURTH ORDER ELLIPTIC PROBLEMS显示文摘Under two hypotheses of nonconforming finite elements of fourth order elliptic problems,we present a side-patchwise projection based error analysis method(SPP-BEAM for short).Such a method is able to avoid both the regularity condition of exact solutions in the classical error analysis method and the complicated bubble function technique in the recent medius error analysis method.In addition,it is universal enough to admit generalizations.Then,we propose a sufficient condition for these hypotheses by imposing a set of in some sense necessary degrees of freedom of the shape function spaces.As an application,we use the theory to design a P3 second order triangular H2 non-conforming element by enriching two P4 bubble functions and,another P4 second order triangular H2 nonconforming finite element,and a P3 second order tetrahedral H2 non-conforming element by enriching eight P4 bubble functions,adding some more degrees of freedom.Jun Hu Shangyou Zhang 2020Journal of Computational Mathematics2020,38,1:2

15A Jacobi Collocation Method for the Fractional Ginzburg-Landau Differential Equation显示文摘In this paper,we design a collocation method to solve the fractional Ginzburg-Landau equation.A Jacobi collocation method is developed and implemented in two steps.First,we space-discretize the equation by the Jacobi-Gauss-Lobatto collocation(JGLC)method in one-and two-dimensional space.The equation is then converted to a system of ordinary differential equations(ODEs)with the time variable based on JGLC.The second step applies the Jacobi-Gauss-Radau collocation(JGRC)method for the time discretization.Finally,we give a theoretical proof of convergence of this Jacobi collocation method and some numerical results showing the proposed scheme is an effective and high-precision algorithm.Yin Yang Jianyong Tao Shangyou Zhang Petr V.Sivtsev 2020Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2020,12,1:1
