1Directional hydraulic fracturing to control hard-roof rockburst in coal mines显示文摘Hard roof is the main factor that induces rock-burst.In view of the present obvious weakness of control measures for hard roof rockburst in domestic collieries,the mechanism and field application of directional hydraulic fracturing technology for rock-burst prevention have been investigated in this paper using theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The results show that the weighting span of the main roof and the released kinetic energy as well as the total elastic energy decreased greatly after the directional fracturing of hard roof with the mining progression,thereby reducing the rockburst hazard degree to coal body.The directional hydraulic fracturing technology was carried out in 6305 working face of Jisan Coal Mine to prevent rockburst.Field practices have proved that this technology is much simpler and safer to operate with better prevention effect compared with blasting.By optimizing the operation procedures and developing a new technology of automated high-pressure delivery pipe,the maximum fracturing radius now reaches more than 9 m and the borehole depth exceeds 20 m.Additionally,drilling cutting method was applied to monitor the stress of the coal mass before and after the fracturing,and the drill cuttings dropped significantly which indicates that the burst prevention effect of directional hydraulic fracturing technology is very remarkable.The research results of this paper have laid a theoretical and practical foundation for the widespread application of the directional hydraulic fracturing technology in China.Fan Jun Dou Linming He Hu Du Taotao Zhang Shibin Gui Bing Sun Xinglin 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2:28
2A survey on numerical simulations of drag and heat reduction mechanism in supersonic/hypersonic flows显示文摘Along with the survey on experimental investigations drawing attention to the drag and heat reduction mechanism, the authors simultaneously focus on the recent advances of numerical simulations on the schemes applied to supersonic/hypersonic vehicles. The CFD study has evolved as an irreplaceable method in scheme evaluation and aircraft optimization. Similar to our previous experimental survey, the advances in drag and heat reduction schemes are reviewed by similar kinds of mechanism in this article, namely the forward-facing cavity, the opposing jet, the aerospike, the energy deposition and their combinational configurations. This review article puts an emphatic eye on the flow conditions, numerical methods, novel schemes and analytical conclusions given in the simulations. 3Parametric estimation of discretely sampled Gamma-OU processes显示文摘The stationary Gamma-OU processes are recommended to be the volatility of the financial assets. A parametric estimation for the Gamma-OU processes based on the discrete observations is considered in this paper. The estimator of an intensity parameter λ and its convergence result are given, and the simulations show that the estimation is quite accurate. Assuming that the parameter λ is estimated, the maximum likelihood estimation of shape parameter c and scale parameter α, whose likelihood function is not explicitly computable, is considered. By means of the Gaver-Stehfest algorithm, we construct an explicit sequence of approximations to the likelihood function and show that it converges the true (but unkown) one. Maximizing the sequence results in an estimator that converges to the true maximum likelihood estimator and the approximation shares the asymptotic properties of the true maximum likelihood estimator. 4Improvements of heat resistance and adhesive property of condensed poly-nuclear aromatic resin via epoxy resin modification显示文摘A bisphenol epoxy resin was used as modifier to increase the heat resistance of condensed poly-nuclear aromatic(COPNA) resin. The basic properties of COPNA resin and modified resin were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1H-NMR), vapor pressure osmometry(VPO) and elemental analysis(EA). Average structural parameters of resins were calculated by the improved Brown-Ladner method, and heat resistance of resins was tested by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The chemical structure, mechanical properties and heat resistivity of the resin/graphite composites prepared with different resins were compared. The results show that the adhesive property and heat resistance of COPNA resin can be remarkably improved by addition of 5 wt.% epoxy resin. The reason is that the reactions between epoxy groups of epoxy resin and hydroxyl groups of COPNA resin improve the heat resistance and adhesive property of COPNA resin. 6Mechanical and antibacterial properties of tannic acid-encapsulated carboxymethyl chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol hydrogels显示文摘The objective of this study was to develop an effective,potential wound dressing,which was constructed with a composite hydrogel of poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA),carboxymethyl chitosan(CMC)and tannic acid(TA)by cryogenic treatment and freeze-drying method.The as-prepared TA-crosslinked PVA/CMC hydrogels exhibited interconnected pore structure with the mean pore size of roughly 3.7��m.We found that the compressive strength and stiffness of composite hydrogel increased when the TA component was introduced.However,the PVA/CMC-TA hydrogel possessed obviously lower swell property than that of the TA-free PVA/CMC hydrogel.We also found that the TA addition significantly improved the antibacterial capacity of the as-prepared hydrogel.Moreover,the inhibition zone test showed that the antibacterial activity of PVA/CMC-TA against S.aureus bacteria was greater than that against E.coli.The biological results indicated that the PVA/CMC-TA hydrogel exhibited good cytocompatibility to natural human dermal fibroblasts.In summary,our PVA/CMC-TA composite hydrogel exhibited promising mechanical and antibacterial properties,which showed great potential application as wound healing materials.Xiaofan Feng Xiuling Hou Congjing Cui Shibin Sun Sahiya Sadik Shaohua Wu Fang Zhou 2021Engineered Regeneration2021,2,1:2
7Process and Kinetics of Pyrolysis of COPNA Resin Synthesized from FCC Slurry显示文摘The mechanism and kinetics of pyrolysis of condensed poly-nuclear aromatic(COPNA) resins were investigated by non-isothermal thermogravimetry/derivative thermogravimetry measurements at various heating rates(10, 20 and 30 K/min) in nitrogen atmosphere. The changes in the functional groups, microstructure, and elemental composition of COPNA resins heated to different temperatures(200, 400, and 600 ℃) were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and elemental analysis, respectively. The results of the pyrolytic experiments indicated that the pyrolysis process could be divided into three stages: an initial weight loss stage ranging from 225—450 ℃, a second weight loss stage ranging from 450—560 ℃, and a thermally stable stage occurring above 560 ℃. The heating rate had little effect on the pyrolysis process, and thermogravimetric parameters of COPNA resin, such as temperature at initial weight loss stage(Ti), temperature at final weight loss stage(Tf) and temperature at maximum weight loss stage(Tmax), shifted towards higher temperatures when the heating rate was increased. At higher heating temperature, the number of aliphatic chains and substituted groups attached to aromatic rings of the resultant sample was reduced, whereas the C/H ratio and porosity rate increased. Pyrolysis kinetics studies showed that the activation energy(E) range for the first and second weight loss stages was 150—210 k J/mol and 210—275 k J/mol, respectively, which showed that the mechanism of thermal decomposition differed from that of the weight loss stages. The k0 value was in the orders of between 1011/s and 1018/s when the activation energy was less than 250 k J/mol. 9Curing Mechanism of Condensed Polynuclear Aromatic Resin and Thermal Stability of Cured Resin显示文摘In order to improve the thermal stability of condensed polynuclear aromatic(COPNA) resin synthesized from vacuum residue, 1,4-benzenedimethanol was added to cure COPNA resin. The curing mechanism was investigated by proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry, solid carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Microstructures of the uncured and the cured COPNA resins were studied by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry. The thermal stability of COPNA resins before and after curing was tested by thermogravimetric analysis. The element composition of the cured COPNA resin heated at different temperatures was analyzed by an element analyzer. The results showed that the uncured COPNA resin reacted with the cross-linking agent during the curing process, and the curing mechanism was confirmed to be the electrophilic substitution reaction. Compared with the uncured COPNA resin, the cured COPNA resin had a smooth surface, well-ordered and streamlined sheet structure with more crystalline solids, better molecular arrangement and orientation. The weight loss process of the uncured and cured COPNA resins was divided into three stages. 13Quantum Secure Direct Communication Protocol with Mutual Authentication Based on Single Photons and Bell States显示文摘Quantum secure direct communication(QSDC)can transmit secret messages directly from one user to another without first establishing a shared secret key,which is different from quantum key distribution.In this paper,we propose a novel quantum secure direct communication protocol based on signal photons and Bell states.Before the execution of the proposed protocol,two participants Alice and Bob exchange their corresponding identity IDA and IDB through quantum key distribution and keep them secret,respectively.Then the message sender,Alice,encodes each secret message bit into two single photons(|01>or|10>)or a Bell state(1|φ^(+)>=1/√2(|0>|-|1>1>)),and composes an ordered secret message sequence.To insure the security of communication,Alice also prepares the decoy photons and inserts them into secret message sequence on the basis of the values of IDA and IDB.By the secret identity IDA and IDB,both sides of the communication can check eavesdropping and identify each other.The proposed protocol not only completes secure direct communication,but also realizes the mutual authentication.The security analysis of the proposed protocol is presented in the paper.The analysis results show that this protocol is secure against some common attacks,and no secret message leaks even if the messages are broken.Compared with the two-way QSDC protocols,the presented protocol is a one-way quantum communication protocol which has the immunity to Trojan horse attack.Furthermore,our proposed protocol can be realized without quantum memory.Lili Yan Shibin Zhang Yan Chang Zhibin Sun Zhiwei Sheng 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,6:0

15A Novel Semi-Quantum Private Comparison Scheme Using Bell Entangle States显示文摘Private comparison is the basis of many encryption technologies,and several related Quantum Private Comparison(QPC)protocols have been published in recent years.In these existing protocols,secret information is encoded by using conjugate coding or orthogonal states,and all users are quantum participants.In this paper,a novel semi-quantum private comparison scheme is proposed,which employs Bell entangled states as quantum resources.Two semi-quantum participants compare the equivalence of their private information with the help of a semi-honest third party(TP).Compared with the previous classical protocols,these two semi-quantum users can only make some particular action,such as to measure,prepare and reflect quantum qubits only in the classical basis fj0i;j1ig,and TP needs to perform Bell basis measurement on reflecting qubits to obtain the results of the comparison.Further,analysis results show that this scheme can avoid outside and participant attacks and its’qubit efficiency is better than the other two protocols mentioned in the paper.Yuhua Sun Lili Yan Zhibin Sun Shibin Zhang Jiazhong Lu 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,3:0

17Perpulmonary Device Closure of Patent Ductus Arteriosus with Minimum Diameter More Than 4 mm in Infants显示文摘Background:Closure of large patent ductus arteriosus(PDA)in older children has been accomplished using surgical and percutaneous techniques with remarkable outcomes.However,outcomes amongst infants have been variable with several drawbacks.Here we describe a novel minimally invasive technique,a product of mini-thoracotomy and traditional percutaneous technique skills,accomplished exclusively under echocardiography guidance.Methods:Symptomatic infants with a significant left-to-right shunt from PDA measuring more than 4 mm were selected.The symptoms were varying degrees of tachypnea,tachycardia,heart failure,failure to thrive,recurrent respiratory tract infections,or intensive care unit treatment for a longer duration.Through a left parasternal mini-thoracotomy,two parallel purse-string sutures were placed on the pulmonary trunk.After purse-string circle puncture,under exclusively transesophageal echocardiography guidance,a device secured to the safety-suture was implanted on the ascending aorta via pulmonary trunk using a specially designed set.The safety-suture prevented device migration in case of dislocation.The basic demographics,PDA size,device size and type,intrapulmonary manipulation time,operation time,PDA parameters(length,diameter,type of duct),redeployment of the device,residual shunt,and retention of safety-suture were all recorded and analyzed.The follow-up was done with transthoracic echocardiography on the 2^(nd)postoperative day,1,3,6,and 12 months,and yearly thereafter.Results:Fifty-two infants with a mean age of 8 months±2.8 months(Interquartile range=0)underwent Perpulmonary device closure of PDA.Successful PDA occlusion was accomplished event-free in all subjects.The mean PDA,mean device,and mean operation time were 5.6 mm±1.4 mm,7.9 mm±1.7 mm,and 61.2 min±12.9 min,respectively.The immediate acceptable residual shunt was noted among 3 subjects and disappeared at a 1-month follow-up.Eighteen infants had retained safety-suture for added safety.There were no reports of the device or procedure-related complications.Conclusion:Perpulmonary device closure is an effective and safe approach to PDA with a diameter measuring>4 mm among infants.The safety-suture,in case of dislocation,prevents migration and associated complications.Shibin Sun Geoffrey J.Changwe Zeeshan Farhaj Hongxin Li Yuekun Sun Zhongzheng Kong 2022Congenital Heart Disease2022,17,4:0
18Long-term outcomes of brainstem arteriovenous malformations after different management modalities: a single-centre experience显示文摘Objective The aims of this study are to clarify the long-term outcomes of brainstem arteriovenous malformations(AVMs)after different management modalities.Methods The authors retrospectively reviewed 61 brainstem AVMs in their institution between 2011 and 2017.The rupture risk was represented by annualised haemorrhagic rate.Patients were divided into five groups:conservation,microsurgery,embolisation,stereotactic radiosurgery(SRS)and embolisation+SRS.Neurofunctional outcomes were evaluated by the modified Rankin Scale(mRS).Subgroup analysis was conducted between different management modalities to compare the long-term outcomes in rupture or unruptured cohorts.Results All of 61 brainstem AVMs(12 unruptured and 49 ruptured)were followed up for an average of 4.5 years.The natural annualised rupture risk was 7.3%,and the natural annualised reruptured risk in the ruptured cohort was 8.9%.13 cases were conservative managed and 48 cases underwent intervention(including 6 microsurgery,12 embolisation,21 SRS and 9 embolisation+SRS).In the selection of interventional indication,diffuse nidus were often suggested conservative management(p=0.004)and nidus involving the midbrain were more likely to be recommended for intervention(p=0.034).The risk of subsequent haemorrhage was significantly increased in partial occlusion compared with complete occlusion and conservative management(p<0.001,p=0.036,respectively).In the subgroup analysis,the follow-up mRS scores of different management modalities were similar whether in the rupture cohort(p=0.064)or the unruptured cohort(p=0.391),as well as the haemorrhage-free survival(p=0.145).In the adjusted Bonferroni correction analysis of the ruptured cohort,microsurgery and SRS could significantly improve the obliteration rate compared with conservation(p<0.001,p=0.001,respectively)and SRS may have positive effect on avoiding new-onset neurofunctional deficit compared with microsurgery and embolisation(p=0.003,p=0.003,respectively).Conclusions Intervention has similar neurofunctional outcomes as conservation in these brainstem AVM cohorts.If intervention is adopted,partial obliteration should be avoided because of the high subsequent rupture risk.Yu Chen Ruinan Li Li Ma Xiangyu Meng Debin Yan Hao Wang Xun Ye Hengwei Jin Youxiang Li Dezhi Gao Shibin Sun Ali Liu Shuo Wang Xiaolin Chen Yuanli Zhao 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1:0
