2Sequence and epitope analysis of surface proteins of avian influenza H5N1 viruses from Asian patients显示文摘Increasing cases of human infections with the high pathogenic avian influenza virus H5N1 have raised great concern on potential human flu pandemics caused by H5N1. The two viral surface glycoproteins, the hemagglutinin (HA) and the neuraminidase (NA) proteins, are major antigens o H5N1. Introducing new mutations on these two pro teins is the major strategy used by H5N1 to expand host range and to avoid the recognition of host im mune systems. We analyzed the two surface proteins of H5N1 from Asian human patients and identified many new mutation sites, including a few that were unique to certain lethal strains. We also analyzed the distribution of mutations on different epitopes of the two surface proteins. A receptor-binding site tha might involve in the determination of host specificity of H5N1 was also found. 3MgO(001) barrier based magnetic tunnel junctions and their device applications显示文摘Spintronics has received a great attention and significant interest within the past decades,and provided considerable and remarked applications in industry and electronic information etc.In spintronics,the MgO based magnetic tunnel junction(MTJ) is an important research advancement because of its physical properties and excellent performance,such as the high TMR ratio in MgO based MTJs.We present an overview of more than a decade development in MgO based MTJs.The review contains three main sections.(1) Research of several types of MgO based MTJs,including single-crystal MgO barrier based-MTJs,double barrier MTJs,MgO based MTJs with interlayer,novel electrode material MTJs based on MgO,novel barrier based MTJs,novel barrier MTJs based on MgO,and perpendicular MTJs.(2) Some typical physical effects in MgO based MTJs,which include six observed physical effects in MgO based MTJs,namely spin transfer torque(STT) effect,Coulomb blockade magnetoresistance(CBMR) effect,oscillatory magnetoresistance,quantum-well resonance tunneling effect,electric field assisted magnetization switching effect,and spincaloric effect.(3) In the last section,a brief introduction of some important device applications of MgO based MTJs,such as GMR & TMR read heads and magneto-sensitive sensors,both field and current switching MRAM,spin nano oscillators,and spin logic devices,have been provided.HAN XiuFeng ALI Syed Shahbaz LIANG ShiHeng 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,1:4
4The origin of Mosuo people as revealed by mtDNA and Y chromosome variation显示文摘The Mosuo, living in the Lugu Lake area in northwest Yunnan Province, China, is the only matriarchal population in China. The Mosuo was officially identified as Naxi nationality although its relationship with Naxi remains controversial. We studied the genetic relationship between the Mosuo and five other ethnic groups currently residing in northwest Yunnan, i.e. Naxi, Tibetan, Bai, Yi and Pumi, by typing the genetic variations in mtDNA HVS1 and 21 Y chromosome markers (13 SNPs & 8 STR markers). We showed that the maternal lineages of the Mosuo bear the strongest resemblance with those found in Naxi while its paternal lineages are more similar to those that are prevalent in Yunnan Tibetan. 5Argon Plasma-Induced Graft Polymerization of PEGMA on Chitosan Membrane Surface for Cell Adhesion Improvement显示文摘For its biocompatibility and biodegradability,chitosan has had considerable attention for biomedical applications in recent years.In this paper,polymerization of poly(ethylene glycol)methyl ether methacrylate(PEGMA)was grafted onto chitosan membrane surface through argon plasma-induced graft polymerization.The surface properties after modification were characterized by contact angle measurement,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and atomic force microscopy(AFM),respectively.The results indicated that PEGMA can be grafted successfully onto chitosan membrane surface.The surface hydrophilicity and free energy were improved and the surface roughness increased after modification.The adhesion of a human corneal epithelial cell(HCEC)on chitosan membrane surface was enhanced due to improvement of surface free energy and roughness.YIN Shiheng REN Li WANG Yingjun 2013Plasma Science and Technology2013,15,10:2

13A population genetics model of linkage disequilibrium in admixed populations显示文摘Understanding linkage disequilibrium (LD) created in admixed population and the rate of decay in the disequilibrium over evolution is an important subject in population genetics theory and in disease gene mapping in human populations. The present study represents the theoretical investigation of effects of gene frequencies, levels of LD and admixture proportions of donor populations on the evolutionary dynamics of the LD of the admixed population. We examined the conditions under which the admixed population reached linkage equilibrium or the peak level of the LD. The study reveals the inappropriateness in approximating the dynamics of the LD generated by population admixture by the commonly used formula in literature. An appropriate equation for the dynamics isproposed. The distinct feature of the newly suggested formula is that the value of the nonlinear component of the LD remains constant in the first generation of the population evolution. 17Controllable printing of large-scale compact perovskite films for flexible photodetectors显示文摘Perovskite materials are promising candidates for the next generation of wearable optoelectronics.However,due to uncontrolled crystallization and the natural brittle property of crystals,it remains a great challenge to fabricate large-scale compact and tough perovskite film.Here we report a facile method to print large-scale perovskite films with high quality for flexible photodetectors.By introducing a soluble polyethylene oxide(PEO)layer during the inkjet printing process,the nucleation and crystal growth of perovskite is well controlled.Perovskite films can be easily printed in large scale and patterned in high resolution.Moreover,this method can be extended to various kinds of perovskite materials,such as MAPbb(MA=methylammonium),MA_(3)Sb_(2)l_(9),and(BA)_(2)PbBr_(4)(BA=benzylammonium).The printed perovskite films show high quality and excellent mechanical performance.The photodetectors based on the MAPbBr3 perovskite films show a responsivity up to -1,036 mAA/V and maintain over 96.8%of the initial photocurrent after 15,000 consecutive bending cycles.This strategy provides a facile approach to prepare large-scale flexible perovskite films.It opens up new opportunities for the fabrication of diverse wearable optoelectronic devices.Zhenkun Gu Ying Wang Shiheng Wang Ting Zhang Rudai Zhao Xiaotian Hu Zhandong Huang Meng Su Qun Xu Lihong Li Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

20A review of the literature on randomized controlled trials of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic-pain syndrome within 2016-2021显示文摘Chronic prostatitis(CP)/chronic pelvic-pain syndrome(CPPS)is a common urinary-system disease with a high incidence in young and middle-aged men,seriously affecting patients'ability to work and their quality of life(Qo L).Western medicine(WM)has some limitations in treating CP/CPPS.Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical method that is commonly used to treat this condition and has a relatively good effect on it.Many randomized controlled trials(RCTs)on this subject have been published.For this study,we searched the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Science and Technology Periodical(VIP),Wanfang,Sino Med,and Pub Med databases for RCTs on acupuncture treatment of CP/CPPS in the last 5 years(2016/01/01-2021/12/01).In addition,we conducted analysis and research,aiming to summarize acupuncture treatment in CP/CPPS RCTs and the clinical efficacy,with the goal of providing clinical reference.A total of 466 related documents were retrieved in the search,and 62 articles were retained after screening.We obtained RCT information on acupuncture treatment of CP/CPPS.The results showed that several relevant clinical studies have been performed over the last 5 years and that acupuncture and moxibustion have better curative effect on CP/CPPS than WM.Due to the small number of included studies,more experimental evidence is needed to verify the clinical efficacy of acupuncture.Shiheng Wang Peijie Qin Fengxia Zhang Jianfeng Liu 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2022,9,3:1
