1Degradation of phenol in industrial wastewater over the F–Fe/TiO_2 photocatalysts under visible light illumination显示文摘F–Fe/TiO_2 composite photocatalyst was synthesized by a facile one-step hydrothermal method and then characterized by XRD, XPS and UV–Vis DRS. The catalyst of F–Fe/TiO_2 exhibited the highest photodegradation rate for phenol as compared with pure TiO_2, F/TiO_2, Fe/TiO_2, F0.38–Fe0.13–TiO_2 and Fe(III)/F-TiO_2 under visible light irradiation. The simulated conditions of industrial phenolic wastewater including initial phenol concentration,visible light intensity, p H and different anions were investigated in the presence of F–Fe/TiO_2 photocatalyst. 2Ecotoxicological effects of waterborne PFOS exposure on swimming performance and energy expenditure in juvenile goldfish (Carassius auratus)显示文摘The potential risks of perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) are of increasing ecological concern. Swimming performance is linked to the fitness and health of fish. However, the impacts of PFOS on swimming performance remain largely unknown. We investigated the ecotoxicological effects of acute exposure to PFOS on the swimming performance and energy expenditure of juvenile goldfish (Carassius auratus). The fish were exposed to a range of PFOS concentrations (0, 0.5, 2, 8 and 32 mg/L) for 48 hr. The spontaneous swimming activity, fast-start swimming performance, critical swimming speed (Ucrit) and active metabolic rate (AMR) of the goldfish were examined after exposure to PFOS. PFOS exposure resulted in remarkable effects on spontaneous activity. Motion distance was reduced, and the proportion of motionless time increased with increasing concentrations of PFOS. However, no significant alterations in the fast-start performance-related kinematic parameters, such as latency time, maximum linear velocity, maximum linear acceleration or escape distance during the first 120 msec after stimulus, were observed after PFOS exposure. Unexpectedly, although PFOS exposure had marked influences on the swimming oxygen consumption rates and AMR of goldfish, the U crit of the goldfish was not significantly affected by PFOS. This may result in a noteworthy increase in the energetic cost of transport. 3Simulation of Coupling Process of Flexible Needle Insertion into Soft Tissue Based on ABAQUS显示文摘In order to get to the desired target inside the body,it is essential to investigate the needle-tissue coupling process and calculate the tissue deformation.A cantilever beam model is presented to predicting the deflection and bending angle of flexible needle by analyzing the distribution of the force on needle shaft during the procedure of needle insertion into soft tissue.Furthermore,a finite element(FE)coupling model is proposed to simulate the needle-tissue interactive process.The plane and spatial models are created to relate the needle and tissue nodes.Combined with the cantilever beam model and the finite element needle-tissue coupling model,the simulation of needle-tissue interaction was carried out by the ABAQUS software.The comparing experiments are designed to understand the needle-tissue interactions,by which the same points in the experiments and simulation are compared and analyzed.The results show that the displacements in x and z directions in the simulation can accord with the experiments,and the deformation inside the tissue mainly occurs in the axial direction.The study is beneficial to the robot-assisted and virtual needle insertion procedure,and to help the physicians to predict the inside tissue deformation during the treatments.Linze Wang Dedong Gao Jiajie Fu Yuzhou Luo Shijian Zhao 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,8:3

7Mesopore-encaged V-Mn oxides:Progressive insertion approach triggering reconstructed active sites to enhance catalytic oxidative desulfuration显示文摘The oxidative desulphurization(ODS)has become mainly popular by rapid catalytic oxidation of dibenzothiophene(DBT)relied on efficient heterogeneous catalyst,V-based catalytic active species were regarded as the potential option in the activity-preferred ODS systems.Herein,we reported the redispersion of vanadium oxide(VO_(χ))on the mesoporous silica modified with manganese oxide(Mn_(3)O_(4)) through one progressive insertion approach of metal oxides in the silica.Impressively,mesoporeencaged vanadium-manganese oxides in the silica(VMn-MS)as the admirable output of excellent ODS catalyst was demonstrated compared to other monometal-modified counterparts and one-pot implanted one.The characterization results revealed the post-implanted VO_(χ) species not only deposited around the pre-covered Mn_(3)O_(4) on the mesoporous surface but also inserted the surface layer of Mn_(3)O_(4) inducing the amorphous evolution of aggregated Mn_(3)O_(4) and the reconstruction of final active sites.This integrated approach made the reconstructed active species afford more exposed catalytic sites and the tailored surface redox cycles owing to the electronic communication of V-Mn.The catalytic results demonstrated the excellent catalytic desulphurization efficiency(~100%)during 60 min at 80℃,which made the sulphur content reduce to 6 mg·L^(-1),remarkably superior to other comparative samples.The outstanding catalytic performance of VMn-MS catalyst can be ascribed to the synergistic effect of V-Mn dual metals rendering two different reaction pathways,which includes free-radical reaction and ring-forming reaction,where Mn site acted as active center triggering reactive free radicals which could be further optimized by surrounded V sites around Mn sites to promote the ODS process.Fu Yang Ruyi Wang Shijian Zhou Xuyu Wang Yan Kong Shuying Gao 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,5:1
8MECHANICAL AND ACOUSTIC RESPONSE OF AN UNDERWATER STRUCTURE SUBJECTED TO MECHANICAL EXCITATION显示文摘In this paper, an underwater structure is modeled as a cylindrical shell with internal bulkheads, and closed by a truncated conical shell, and it consists of metal substrate and sound absorbing coating, whose FGM core is considered. Suppose the inner cavity and outer space of the structure are filled with air and fluid mediums, the mechanical response of the underwater structure is calculated with Galerkin method while the acoustic response is investigated by means of the Helmholtz integral. 10Preparation of ZSM-5 containing vanadium and Br?nsted acid sites with high promoting of styrene oxidation using 30% H_2O_2显示文摘Design and synthesis of low cost and efficacious industrial catalyst for the oxidation of styrene has been an important research project.Herein,ZSM-5 zeolite containing tetrahedral vanadium(V)and Br?nsted acid sites(V-H-ZSM-5)was prepared,and identified by characterizations such as XRD,SEM,UV–vis,NH3-TPD,H2-TPR N2-adsorption/desorption and FTIR.V-H-ZSM-5 performed extremely enhanced catalytic activity for the oxidation of styrene with 30%H2O2 at 40°C.Moreover,in-situ FTIR spectrum was used to investigate the catalytic mechanism.The results demonstrate that Br?nsted acid site could not only increase the adsorption concentration of styrene in the micropores of V-H-ZSM-5 via theπcomplex interaction between double bond of styrene and Br?nsted acid sites,but also increase the oxidation potential of H2O2.The synergetic action of tetrahedral vanadium(V)and Br?nsted acid enhanced the catalytic activity for the oxidation of styrene with 30%H2O2.Impressively,V-H-ZSM-5 performed high reusability within five runs at a low reaction temperature(40°C)for the first time.Xianfeng Liu Fu Yang Shuying Gao Bo Shao Shijian Zhou Yan Kong 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,5:0
