1Al_(80)Ni_6Y_8Co_4Cu_2 GLASS ALLOYS CONTAINING NANOSCALEPARTICLES BY ISOTHERMAL ANNEALING OR QUENCHING显示文摘Al80Ni6 Y8 Co4 Cu2 amorphous ribbons were isothermally annealed and a mixed structure consisting of α-Al particle with a size of less than 15nm and Al3Ni compound with a size of about 30nm was obtained. The crystallization kinetics of Al80Ni6 Y8 Co4 Cu2 amorphous alloy shows that the precipitation of α-Al particles is the growth process controlled by diffusion of the solute elements rejected from the growing crystals. By quenching at different cooling rates, a mixed structure consisting of nanoscale α-Al particles and the remaining glass matrix or structure consisting of nanoscale particle (Al phase or Al3Ni compound) with a size of about 100nm was formed. The addition of Co elements and Cu elements to Al-Ni-Y alloy systems increases the glass formation ability of the alloy and the thermal stability of the supercooled liquid region against crystallization, which results from significant difference of atomic size, strong bonding nature among constituent elements and the low diffisivity of the solute elements due to the concentration gradient in the growing front of crystals.Z. 2Surface Defects of Cold-Rolled Ti-IF Steel Sheets due to Non-Metallic Inclusions显示文摘Surface defects of the cold-rolled sheets of Ti-IF steel were studied and analyzed. After analyzing surface defects of cold-rolled sheets, such as shelling defects, holes and sliver defects by SEM/EDS, a variety of inclusions were found. In addition, the distribution of macro-inclusions in slabs was analyzed by MIDAS method. The results show the macroscopic inclusion bands of head slabs and normal slabs are in 1/8 slab thickness regions of both inner arc side and outer arc side. The formation process of the defects in the cold-rolled sheets was simulated with an experimental cold-rolling machine for comparison. 3Electrochemical behavior of microbiologically influenced corrosion on Fe_3Al in marine environment显示文摘In this article,microbiologically influenced corrosion behavior of Fe3Al intermetal-lic compound in microorganism culture medium has been investigated by using weight loss methods,electrochemical techniques,and electron microscopy.Polar-ization curves showed that a sharp electrical current peak caused by surface pitting could be observed after Fe3Al electrodes were immersed in culture medium for 15 days when the polarization potential was about-790 mV vs SCE.Based on the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and the equivalent circuit parameters of the associated system,the corrosion products were found to exhibit a two-layer structured feature and the microorganisms could induce pitting and erosion corrosion of the inner layer.In addition,the passivating film of the inner layer was absolutely destroyed by microbial metabolic products.Xueting CHANG Shougang CHEN Guanhui GAO Yansheng YIN Sha CHENG Tao LIU 2009Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2009,22,4:5

6Final Temperature Prediction Model of Molten Steel in RH-TOP Refining Process for IF Steel Production显示文摘In order to precisely control the final temperature of molten steel in RH (Ruhrstahl Heraeus)-TOP blowing refining, the final temperature prediction models of molten steel in RH-TOP blowing refining process for Interstitial Free (IF) steel production were established under the condition of oxygen blowing and non-oxygen blowing respectively. The results show that the beginning molten steel temperature of refining and the amount of added scrap were influential factors, the baking temperature in vacuum chamber was a factor that had small influence. When the model was operated, the hitting probability was above 95% (under the condition of both oxygen blowing and non-oxygen blowing) of prediction deviation of ±10 ℃. 7A triboelectric/electromagnetic hybrid generator for efficient wind energy collection and power supply for electronic devices显示文摘Harvesting energy from ambient environment has been considered as a promising strategy for driving portable electronic devices in a sustainable way. A wind driven triboelectric-electromagnetic hybrid nanogenerator has been fabricated to convert wind energy into electricity. It is composed of an electromagnetic generator(EMG) and a triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG) with the output power of 35 and 0.32 mW, respectively when the wind speed is 5 m/s. Generally, TENG shows a low current output with a high voltage output characteristic, on the contrary the EMG shows a high current output and a low voltage output. This hybrid nanogenerator overcomes these problems and exhibits comprehensive and efficient performance on scavenging energy.Moreover, in view of the output performance and charging ability of the hybrid nanogenerator, it shows high stability, making it suitable for charging capacitors or batteries and driving portable electronics sustainably. Four sub systems and operation procedure of the NTSC-F1 primary frequency standard are introduced in the paper.The frequency stability of NTSC-F1 is 3.0×10-13/ τ-1 / 2compared to hydrogen maser. 16Stable biomimetic film on Fe_3Al surface for corrosion resistance in seawater显示文摘Stable superhydrophobic n-tetradecanoic acid (CH3(CH2)14COOH) film was pre- pared by means of sol-gel and self-assembly techniques, with a very high seawater contact angle (158°) and a small sliding angle (<5°). There are many microconvexi-ties with binary structure uniformly distributed on the surface atop the film with an average diameter of about 80 nm by observation of scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the film surface structure is similar to that of lotus surface. 17Influence of Calcareous Deposit on Corrosion Behavior of Q235 Carbon Steel with Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria显示文摘Cathodic protection is a very effective method to protect metals, which can form calcareous deposits on metal surface. Research on the interrelationship between fouling organism and calcareous deposits is very important but very limited, especially sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB). SRB is a kind of very important fouling organism that causes microbial corrosion of metals. A study of the influence of calcareous deposit on corrosion behavior of Q235 carbon steel in SRB-containing culture medium was carried out using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and surface spectroscopy(EDS). The calcareous deposit was formed with good crystallinity and smooth surface under the gradient current density of -30 μA cm^(-2) in natural seawater for 72 h. Our results can help elucidate the formation of calcareous deposits and reveal the interrelationship between SRB and calcareous deposits under cathodic protection. The results indicate that the corrosion tendency of carbon steel was obviously affected by Sulfate-reducing Bacteria(SRB) metabolic activity and the calcareous deposit formed on the surface of carbon steel under cathodic protection was favourable to reduce the corrosion rate. Calcareous deposits can promote bacterial adhesion before biofilm formation.
