| 1 | Thermodynamic Assessment and Experimental Investigation of Fe-Al-C System显示文摘Phase diagram information of the Fe-C,Fe-Al and Al-C systems are reviewed and the Fe-Al-C system is assessed.A FeAlC database is created by combining a set of thermodynamic parameters established by Kumar and SSOL database in Thermo-Calc software package.Ternary phase diagrams are calculated with FeAlC and the newly developed Thermo-Calc databases SSOL2 and SSOL4.The FeAIC database is the best one to describe the Fe-Al-C system.A1 and A3 values on the vertical section containing 1.5 wt pct Al are calculated with the FeAlC database in this work.To validate the thermodynamic calculation,critical temperatures A_(C_1) and A_(C_3) are determined by using dilatometer analysis.There exist some errors between the calculated values and the experimental results.So further optimization of the Fe-Al-C system regarding bcc and fcc phases is necessary.The experimental data in this work could be of some value in further optimization. | Weiyan LU Lin LI Li WANG Yanlin HE Shuigen HUANG | 2008 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2008,24,5: | 3 |
| 2 | Computer simulation of W-C-Co-V system diffusion couples显示文摘Diffusion couples,WC/Co-1at.%C,V8C7/Co,and WC/Co-0.3wt.%V8C7 were constructed and annealed at tem-peratures ranging from 1100 to 1300°C. The concentration profile of V and W atoms in these couples were measured by EPMA. Aided by Thermo-calc & DICTRA software package,the concentration profiles of W and V in established diffu-sion couples were calculated by the moving boundary model according to revised dynamic parameters and MOB database,respectively. Then the concentration profile of W in Co binder during sintering WC-Co cemented carbide was simulated by the Cell model. It can provide reference for composition and sintering process design of cemented carbides with high per-formance. | 3 | Modeling of Nucleation and Growth of M_(23)C_6 Carbide in Multi-component Fe-based Alloy显示文摘Three-dimensional atom probe (3DAP) technique has been used to study the nucleation and growth of M23C6 carbide in a supersaturated multi-component Fe-based alloy aged at 800°C. 3D images indicate that the radius of M23C6 carbide after ageing for 10 min is about 9 nm. Concentration profiles of alloy elements in the carbide are also obtained. Combined with PANDAT and Thermo-Calc software, attempts to model the early stages of precipitation are present. | 4 | Computer Simulation of Fe-Al-Si System Diffusion Couples显示文摘Diffusion couples, Fe-6.8 wt% Al-1.0 wt% Si/Fe and Fe-6.3 wt% Al-0.9 wt% Si/Fe were constructed and separately annealed at 1050°C for 3 h and at 1000°C for 64 h. The concentration profiles of Fe, Al and Si atoms in these couples were measured by electron probe micro-analysis (EPMA), while the diffusion behavior was also simulated by coupling thermodynamic and kinetic properties of Fe-Al-Si system. The simulation results were in good agreement with the measured concentration profiles showing the validity of dynamic parameters of Fe-Al-Si system. Calculation was made for Fe-7 wt% Al-1 wt% Si/Fe diffusion couples at 1000?C with different diffusion time. | 6 | Investigations for vibration and friction torque behaviors of thrust ball bearing with self-driven textured guiding surface显示文摘In order to improve the starved lubrication condition of rolling bearings,three kinds of textures,namely dimple,groove texture,and gradient groove texture,were developed on the guiding surface of thrust ball bearings in this study.The results show that gradient groove texture has the one-way self-driving function of liquid droplets.The root mean square(RMS)value of vibration acceleration of gradient groove textured bearing(GGB)decreased by 49.1% and the kurtosis decreased by 24.6% compared with non-textured bearing(NB)due to the directional spreading effect of gradient groove textures on oil.The frequency domain analysis showed that the textures mainly suppressed the medium and high-frequency energy of bearing vibration,and the GGB was reduced the most with 65.3% and 48%,respectively.In addition,whether the grease is sufficiently sheared has a large impact on the oil guiding effect,and the friction torque of GGB could decrease by 10.5% compared with NB in the sufficiently sheared condition.Therefore,the gradient groove texture with oil self-driven effect on the guiding surface of rolling bearing can effectively improve the lubrication condition of the bearing and thus reduce the bearing vibration and friction torque,which has a promising application prospect. | Can WU Kai YANG Jing NI Shuigen LU Lidan YAO Xinglin LI | 2023 | Friction2023,11,6: | 1 |
