| 1 | Hydrogen storage properties of Zr_(1-x)Ti_xCo intermetallic compound显示文摘The intermetallic compound Zr1-xTixCo was prepared and its suitability for hydrogen storage was investigated. The alloys obtained by magnetic levitation melting with the composition of Zr1-xTixCo (x=0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3, at.%) show single cubic phase by X-ray diffraction. A single sloping plateau was observed on each isothermal, and pressure-composition-temperature (PCT) measurement results show that the equilibrium hydrogen desorption pressure of Zr1-xTixCo alloy increases with increasing Ti content. The desorption temperatures for supplying 100 kPa hydrogen are about 665, 642, 621 and 614 K for ZrCo, Zr0.9Ti0.1Co, Zr0.8Ti0.2Co and Zr0.7Ti0.3Co alloy, respectively. | 2 | Hierarchical nanostructured composite cathode with carbon nanotubes as conductive scaffold for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are excellent scaffolds for advanced electrode materials, resulting from their intrinsic sp2 carbon hybridization, interconnected electron pathway, large aspect ratio, hierarchical porous structures, and low cost at a large-scale production. How to make full utilization of the mass produced CNTs as building blocks for nanocomposite electrodes is not well understood yet. Herein, a composite cathode containing commercial agglomerated multi-walled CNTs and S for Li-S battery was fabricated by a facile melt-diffusion strategy. The hierarchical CNT@S coaxial nanocables exhibited a discharging capacity of 1020 and 740 mAh g-1 at 0.5 and 2.0 C, respectively. A rapid capacity decay of 0.7% per cycle at the initial 10 cycles and a slow decay rate of 0.14% per cycle for the later 140 cycles were detected. | 7 | Blautia producta displays potential probiotic properties against dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis in mice显示文摘Blautia has attracted attention because of its potential efficacy in ameliorating host energy metabolism and inflammation.This study aims to investigate the influences of Blautia producta D4 on colitis induced by dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)and to reveal the underlying mechanisms.Results showed that B.producta D4 intervention significantly relieved body weight loss,and suppressed the elevation of pro-inflammatory cytokines(including interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and interleukin-1β(IL-1β))and excessive oxidative stress(myeloperoxidease(MPO)activity,superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)activity,and malondialdehyde(MDA)level)in colitis mice.Moreover,the concentrations of tight junction proteins(occludin,claudin-1,and ZO-1)related to the intestinal barrier were obviously elevated,and colitis-related TLR4/NF-κB pathway activation was remarkably inhibited after B.producta D4 intervention.The intestinal microbial disorder was evidently ameliorated by increasing the relative abundance of Clostridium sensu stricto 1,Bifidobacterium,GCA-900066225,Enterorhabdus,and reducing the relative abundance of Lachnospiraceae NK4A136 group.In conclusion,oral administration of B.producta D4 could ameliorate DSS-induced colitis by suppressing inflammatory responses,maintaining the intestinal barrier,inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB pathway,and regulating intestinal microbiota balance.These results are conducive to accelerate the development of B.producta D4 as a functional probiotic for colitis. | Bingyong Mao Weiling Guo Shumao Cui Qiuxiang Zhang Jianxin Zhao Xin Tang Hao Zhang | 2024 | Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,2: | 3 |
| 8 | Enhancement of Ti-Cr-V BCC alloys on the dehydrogenation kinetics of Li-Mg-N-H hydrogen storage materials显示文摘The hydrogen storage properties of a Li-Mg-N-H material doped by a 4 mol.% Ti3Cr3V4 body centre cubic(BCC) alloy hydride and prepared with a ball-milling method were investigated by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and Sievert's technology test.The results show that the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy hydride/Li-Mg-N-H composite has good reversible hydrogen storage properties.The dehydrogenation kinetics of the Li-Mg-N-H system can be greatly improved by doping the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy hydride.The composite desorbed 4.1 wt.% hydrogen in the first 60 min at 473 K under 0.1 MPa pressure,but when without the BCC alloy addition,only 3.0 wt.% hydrogen was desorbed under the same dehydrogenation condition.It can be deduced that the Ti3Cr3V4 BCC alloy uniformly distributed in the Li-Mg-N-H substrate could decrease the activating energy of hydrogen molecules to H atoms and increase H diffusion paths in the composite,enhancing the dehydrogenation kinetics of the Li-Mg-N-H system. | WANG Jingchuan,LI Zhinian,LI Hualing,MI Jing,Lü Fang,WANG Shumao,LIU Xiaopeng,and JIANG Lijun General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals,Beijing 100088,China | 2010 | Rare Metals2010,29,6: | 3 |

| 11 | Effect of Manganese substitution on hydrogen storage properties of LaNi_(4.25-x)Al_(0.75)Mn_x alloy显示文摘The effect of Mn substitution on phase structure, hydrogen hydriding/dehydriding properties (plateau pressure and slope) and reaction heat enthalpy of LaNi4.25-xAl0.75Mnx alloys (x=0, 0.25, 0.35, 0.45, 0.55 and 0.65) were studied. The experimental results show that all LaNi4.25-xAl0.75Mnx alloys have single phase and have the same hexagonal structure as that of LaNi5 alloy (CaCu5 type, P6/mmm). With increasing Mn substitution content, the cell parameters of LaNi4.25-xAl0.75Mnx alloy greatly increase, but the maximum hydrogen storage capacity and the equilibrium absorption pressure of LaNi4.25-xAl0.75Mnx alloy decrease from 1.38 wt.% to 1.18 wt.% and from 1.61 to 0.0712 MPa, respectively. Moreover, the hydrogen pressure plateau slope factor σ increases from 0.014 to 0.18, but the hysteresis factor is nearly constant. | 12 | Designing appropriate heat treatment temperature for LaNi_(3.8)Al_(0.75)Mn_(0.45) alloy显示文摘The effect of heat treatment on microstructure, equilibrium hydrogen sorption pressure and plateau slope of LaNi3.8Al0.75Mn0.45 alloy was investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicates that annealed alloys have single phase and the same hexagonal structure as that of LaNi5 alloy (CaCu5 type, P6/mmm). The cell parameters of alloys fluctuate with the increasing annealing temperature. The equilibrium hydrogen pressure and plateau slope are a parabola function with annealing temperature for LaNi3.8Al0.75Mn0.45 alloy. By this relationship, an appropriate heat treatment temperature for LaNi3.8Al0.75Mn0.45 alloy is determined to about 1220-1230 K by mathematic simulation process. | 13 | Development of a gaseous and solid-state hybrid system for stationary hydrogen energy storage显示文摘Hydrogen can serve as a carrier to store renewable energy in large scale.However,hydrogen storage still remains a challenge in the current stage.It is difficult to meet the technical requirements applying the conventional storage of compressed gaseous hydrogen in high-pressure tanks or the solid-state storage of hydrogen in suitable materials.In the present work,a gaseous and solid-state(G-S)hybrid hydrogen storage system with a low working pressure below 5 MPa for a 10 kW hydrogen energy storage experiment platform is developed and validated.A Ti-Mn type hydrogen storage alloy with an effective hydrogen capacity of 1.7 wt%was prepared for the G-S hybrid hydrogen storage system.The G-S hybrid hydrogen storage tank has a high volumetric hydrogen storage density of 40.07 kg H_(2)m^(-3) and stores hydrogen under pressure below5 MPa.It can readily release enough hydrogen at a temperature as low as-15C when the FC system is not fully activated and hot water is not available.The energy storage efficiency of this G-S hybrid hydrogen storage system is calculated to be 86.4%-95.9%when it is combined with an FC system.This work provides a method on how to design a G-S hydrogen storage system based on practical demands and demonstrates that the G-S hybrid hydrogen storage is a promising method for stationary hydrogen storage application. | Haizhen Liu Li Xu Yu Han Xin Chen Peng Sheng Shumao Wang Xiantun Huang Xinhua Wang Chenglin Lu Hui Luo Shixuan He Zhiqiang Lan Jin Guo | 2021 | Green Energy & Environment2021,6,4: | 2 |
