1Pseudomonas sp.ZXY-1,a newly isolated and highly efficient atrazine-degrading bacterium,and optimization of biodegradation using response surface methodology显示文摘Atrazine, a widely used herbicide, is increasing the agricultural production effectively, while also causing great environmental concern. Efficient atrazine-degrading bacterium is necessary to removal atrazine rapidly to keep a safe environment. In the present study, a new atrazine-degrading strain ZXY-1, identified as Pseudomonas, was isolated. This new isolated strain has a strong ability to biodegrade atrazine with a high efficiency of 9.09 mg/L/hr.Temperature, p H, inoculum size and initial atrazine concentration were examined to further optimize the degradation of atrazine, and the synthetic effect of these factors were investigated by the response surface methodology. With a high quadratic polynomial mathematical model(R^2= 0.9821) being obtained, the highest biodegradation efficiency of 19.03 mg/L/hr was reached compared to previous reports under the optimal conditions(30.71°C, pH 7.14, 4.23%(V/V) inoculum size and 157.1 mg/L initial atrazine concentration).Overall, this study provided an efficient bacterium and approach that could be potentially useful for the bioremediation of wastewater containing atrazine.Xinyue Zhao Li Wang Fang Ma Shunwen Bai Jixian Yang Shanshan Qi 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,4:3

3Leaching characteristics of heavy metals during cement stabilization of fly ash from municipal solid waste incinerators显示文摘The leaching characteristics of heavy metals in products of cement stabilization of fly ash from a municipal solid waste incinerator were investigated in this paper.The stabilization of heavy metals such as Cd,Pb,Cu,and Zn in fly ash from such incinerators was examined through the national standard method in China based on the following factors:additive quantity of cement and Na_(2)S,curing time,and pH of leaching liquor.The results showed that as more additives were used,less heavy metals were leached except for Pb,which is sensitive to pH of the leachate,and the worse effect was observed for Cd.The mass ratio of cement to fly ash=10% is the most appropriate parameter according to the national standard method.When the hydration of cement was basically finished,stabilization of heavy metals did not vary after curing for 1 d.The mixtures of cement and fly ash had excellent adaptability to environmental pH.The pH of leachate was maintained at 7 when pH of leaching liquor varied from 3 to 11.Shunwen LIANG Jianguo JIANG Yan ZHANG Xin XU 2008Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2008,2,3:1

6Study on Virus-free and Rapid Propagation Technology of Artemisia selengensis sp.in Yangxin County显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to culture virus-free tissue culture plantlets of mid-maturing green-stalk Artemisia selengensis sp.varieties in Yangxin County.[Methods]With bud tips of A.selengensis in Yangxin as explants and MS as the basal medium,screening and proportioning of plant growth regulators were performed to establish a virus-free and rapid propagation system for mid-maturing green-stalk varieties of A.selengensis in Yangxin.[Results]The optimal callus induction medium,adventitious shoot differentiation medium,adventitious shoot elongation medium and rooting medium for explants were MS+6-BA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 0.5 mg/L+sucrose 25 g/L+agar 7 g/L,MS+6-BA 0.1 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L+sucrose 25 g/L+agar 7 g/L,MS+6-BA 0.02 mg/L+NAA 0.02 mg/L+sucrose 25 g/L+agar 7 g/L and 1/2 MS+NAA 0.05 mg/L+sucrose 25 g/L+agar 7 g/L,respectively,and the seedling rate reached more than 95%.The culture conditions were as follows:temperature(25±2)℃,relative humidity 85%,illumination intensity 3000 lx,and illumination time 14 h/d.[Conclusions]This study has important practical significance for the purification and rejuvenation and large-scale industrial breeding of Yangxin A.selengensis seedlings.Shunwen XU Yihe LI Anhuai MING Rongxing YAN Xianai GAO Jin ZHENG Wei KANG 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,6:0
