2Total mesopancreas excision for pancreatic head cancer: analysis of 120 cases显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of total mesopancreas excision(TMpE) in the treatment of pancreatic head cancer. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 120 patients with pancreatic head cancer who had undergone TMpE in our center from May 2010 to January 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The mean operative time was(275.0±50.2) min and the average intra-operative blood loss was(390.0±160.5) mL. Post-operative complications were reported in 45 patients, while no peri-operative death was noted. The specimen margins were measured in three dimensions, and 86 patients(71.6%) achieved R0 resection. 3Disturbance Observer Based Control for Four Wheel Steering Vehicles With Model Reference显示文摘This paper presents a disturbance observer based control strategy for four wheel steering systems in order to improve vehicle handling stability. By combination of feedforward control and feedback control, the front and rear wheel steering angles are controlled simultaneously to follow both the desired sideslip angle and the yaw rate of the reference vehicle model.A nonlinear three degree-of-freedom four wheel steering vehicle model containing lateral, yaw and roll motions is built up, which also takes the dynamic effects of crosswind into consideration.The disturbance observer based control method is provided to cope with ignored nonlinear dynamics and to handle exogenous disturbances. 4Investigation on the spatial distribution characteristics of behind-armor debris formed by the perforation of EFP through steel target显示文摘The behind-armor debris(BAD) formed by the perforation of an EFP is the main damage factor for the secondary destruction to the behind-armor components.Aiming at investigating the BAD caused by EFP,flash X-ray radiography combined with an experimental witness plate test method was used,and the FEM-SPH adaptive conversion algorithm in LS-DYNA software was erployed to model the perforation process.The simulation results of the debris cloud shape and number of debris were in good agreement with the flash X-ray radiographs and perforated holes on the witness plate,respectlvely.Threedimensional numerical simulations of EFP's penetration under various impact conditions were conducted.The results show that,an ellipsoidal debris cloud,with the major-to-minor axis radio(a/b)smaller than that caused by shaped charge jets,was formed behind the target.With the increase of target thickness(h) and decrease of impact velocity(v_0) and obliquity(θ),the value of a/b decreases.The number of debris ejected from target is significantly higher than that from EFP.Based on the statistical analysis of the spatial distribution of the BAD,An engineering calculation model was established considering the influence of h,v_0 and θ.The model can with reasonable accuracy predict the quantity and velocity distribution characteristics of BAD formed by EFP.Xin Wang Jianwei Jiang Shengjie Sun Jianbing Men Shuyou Wang 2020Defence Technology(防务技术)2020,16,1:6
5Hepatopancreatoduodenectomy for advanced biliary malignancies显示文摘Background:Hepatopancreatoduodenectomy(HPD)has been considered the only curative treatment for metastatic cholangiocarcinoma and some locally advanced gallbladder cancers(GBCs).However,HPD has not yet been included in treatment guidelines as a standard surgical procedure in consideration of its morbidity and mortality rates.The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of HPD in treating biliary malignancies.Methods:The medical records of 57 patients with advanced biliary cancer undergoing HPD from January 2009 to December 2019 were retrospectively retrieved.A case-control analysis was conducted at our department.Patients with advanced GBC who underwent HPD(HPD-GBC group)were compared with a control group(None-HPD-GBC group).Baseline characteristics,preoperative treatments,tumor pathologic features,operative results,and prognosis were assessed.Results:Thirteen patients with cholangiocarcinoma and 44 patients with GBC underwent HPD at our department.Significant postoperative complications(grade III or greater)and postoperative pancreatic fistula were observed in 24(42.1%)and 15(26.3%)patients,respectively.One postoperative death occurred in the present study.Overall survival(OS)was longer in patients with advanced cholangiocarcinoma than in those with GBC(median survival time[MST],31 months vs.11 months;P<0.001).In the subgroup analysis of patients with advanced GBC,multivariate analysis demonstrated that T4 stage tumors(P=0.012),N2 tumors(P=0.001),and positive margin status(P=0.004)were independently associated with poorer OS.Patients with either one or more prognostic factors exhibited a shorter MST than patients without those prognostic factors(P<0.001).Conclusion:HPD could be performed with a relatively low mortality rate and an acceptable morbidity rate in an experienced highvolume center.For patients with advanced GBC without an N2 or T4 tumor,HPD can be a preferable treatment option.Xiangsong Wu Maolan Li Wenguang Wu Xu’an Wang Huaifeng Li Runfa Bao Yijun Shu Jun Shen Jun Gu Xuefeng Wang Wei Gong Shuyou Peng Yingbin Liu 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,23:3

A case-based requirement product configuration (CB-RPC) model and corresponding requirement product model are established. The result of requirement product configuration is obtained by using the method of two-level similar matching. In addition, the effect of the method on requirement responding is analyzed. 10Performance design of a cryogenic air separation unit for variable working conditions using the lumped parameter model显示文摘Large-scale cryogenic air separation units(ASUs),which are widely used in global petrochemical and semiconductor industries,are being developed with high operating elasticity under variable working conditions.Different from discrete processes in traditional machinery manufacturing,the ASU process is continuous and involves the compression,adsorption,cooling,condensation,liquefaction,evaporation,and distillation of multiple streams.This feature indicates that thousands of technical parameters in adsorption,heat transfer,and distillation processes are correlated and merged into a large-scale complex system.A lumped parameter model(LPM)of ASU is proposed by lumping the main factors together and simplifying the secondary ones to achieve accurate and fast performance design.On the basis of material and energy conservation laws,the piecewise-lumped parameters are extracted under variable working conditions by using LPM.Takagi–Sugeno(T–S)fuzzy interval detection is recursively utilized to determine whether the critical point is detected or not by using different thresholds.Compared with the traditional method,LPM is particularly suitable for“rough first then precise”modeling by expanding the feasible domain using fuzzy intervals.With LPM,the performance of the air compressor,molecular sieve adsorber,turbo expander,main plate-fin heat exchangers,and packing column of a 100000 Nm3 O2/h large-scale ASU is enhanced to adapt to variable working conditions.The designed value of net power consumption per unit of oxygen production(kW/(Nm3 O2))is reduced by 6.45%.Jinghua XU Tiantian WANG Qianyong CHEN Shuyou ZHANG Jianrong TAN 2020Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2020,15,1:1

12Customized Design for Ergonomic Products via Additive Manufacturing Considering Joint Biomechanics显示文摘This paper presents a customized design method for ergonomic products via additive manufacturing(AM)con-sidering joint biomechanics.An ergonomic customized design model can be built based on kinesiology involving human joint biomechanics.Manifolds of the human bone can be reconstructed from X-rays,computed tomog-raphy(CT),magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),and direct 3D scanning.The conceptual and detailed design of customized products were implemented on ergonomic shoes and insoles.A lightweight lattice structure with vari-able porosity was generated via structural topology optimization for an ergonomic customized design.Notably,the upper surface of the custom-made insole may adhere perfectly to the plantar surface of the patient,resulting in a lower peak plantar pressure.Finite element analysis(FEA)can be employed to simulate the static or dynamic biomechanical characteristics.The conceptual ergonomic products were forwarded to the machine and fabricated via AM,driven by visual digital twin techniques.The experiments proved that a customized design suitability method for wearable ergonomic products via 3D printing is specifically tailored to the rehabilitation needs of individual customers,while consuming the least cost,time,and materials.Jinghua Xu Zhengxin Tu Shuyou Zhang Jianrong Tan Guanyun Wang 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2023,2,3:0
13Study on tracking algorithm of acoustic target显示文摘The prediction of helicopter′s track is very important for Anti-Helicopter Mine System (AHMS) in the battle. However, it is very difficult to get an accurate and reliable prediction when the data is very limited. This paper tries to establish a track forecast model based on the grey system theory to predict the radial distance, the azimuth and the elevation of a helicopter real-timely. The forecast model of grey system can directly predict the helicopter′s track, with out the need of coordinate conversion (polar coordinate to rectangular coordinate). So the measurement noise is relatively independent, the prediction accuracy can be improved. In the period of sampling, GM model has been established on line to improve prediction precision. 14Preliminary Study of Oxidative Stress in Human Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Adjacent Normal Liver Tissues显示文摘OBJECTIVE The antioxidative system in human hepatocellular carcinoma was investigated. METHODS The activities of cytosolic catalase (CAT), superoxide dismu-tase, glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), glutathione S-tranferase and levels of reduced glutathione, total protein thiols and malondialdehyde were assayed in 10 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma and adjacent normal liver. RESULTS Hepatoma tissues showed higher activities of CAT, GSH -Px and lower content of total antioxidative capacity compared to adjacent normal liver tissue (P<0.05). CONCLUSION These findings suggest that the antioxidative defense-related enzymes and antioxidants are largely regulated in hepatoma cells. 15Structural design of the fluted shaped charge liner using multi-section optimization method显示文摘Spin effect of the small diameter shaped charge results in the centrifugal stress during the jet stretching process. Consequently, the jet scatters, which deceases the jet penetration capability. In the present study, a multi-section method was proposed to design the spin-compensation liner. The spincompensation rate(SCR) of the liner was defined as the specific angular velocity that a fluted liner can offset. Based on the plain stress theory, SPH numerical method was applied to study the converging process of the 2D fluted structure. The spin-compensation mechanism of the fluted structure was illustrated. Then, nine cross sections were chosen along the liner axis equidistantly. On each of the section, a 2D fluted structure was designed to offset a given initial angular velocity. After, the optimized fluted structures were integrated into a 3D fluted liner. Jet appearances of the normal liner and the fluted liners under different initial angular velocities were compared, which verifies the practicality of the multi-sectional method. 16Build orientation determination of multi-feature mechanical parts in selective laser melting via multi-objective decision making显示文摘Selective laser melting(SLM)is a unique additive manufacturing(AM)category that can be used to manufacture mechanical parts.It has been widely used in aerospace and automotive using metal or alloy powder.The build orientation is crucial in AM because it affects the as-built part,including its part accuracy,surface roughness,support structure,and build time and cost.A mechanical part is usually composed of multiple surface features.The surface features carry the production and design knowledge,which can be utilized in SLM fabrication.This study proposes a method to determine the build orientation of multi-feature mechanical parts(MFMPs)in SLM.First,the surface features of an MFMP are recognized and grouped for formulating the particular optimization objectives.Second,the estimation models of involved optimization objectives are established,and a set of alternative build orientations(ABOs)is further obtained by many-objective optimization.Lastly,a multi-objective decision making method integrated by the technique for order of preference by similarity to the ideal solution and cosine similarity measure is presented to select an optimal build orientation from those ABOs.The weights of the feature groups and considered objectives are achieved by a fuzzy analytical hierarchy process.Two case studies are reported to validate the proposed method with numerical results,and the effectiveness comparison is presented.Physical manufacturing is conducted to prove the performance of the proposed method.The measured average sampling surface roughness of the most crucial feature of the bracket in the original orientation and the orientations obtained by the weighted sum model and the proposed method are 15.82,10.84,and 10.62μm,respectively.The numerical and physical validation results demonstrate that the proposed method is desirable to determine the build orientations of MFMPs with competitive results in SLM.Hongsheng SHENG Jinghua XU Shuyou ZHANG Jianrong TAN Kang WANG 2023Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2023,18,2:0
