| 1 | Comparison of forage yield,silage fermentative quality,anthocyanin stability,antioxidant activity,and in vitro rumen fermentation of anthocyanin-rich purple corn(Zea mays L.) stover and sticky corn stover显示文摘The objective of this study was to observe the forage yield, silage fermentative quality, anthocyanin stability, and antioxidant activity during the storage period and in vitro rumen fermentation of anthocyanin-rich purple corn(Zea mays L.) stover(PS)and sticky corn stover(SS). Forage yield of corn stover was weighed and ensiled with two treatments:(1) hybrid sticky waxy corn stover(control), and(2) hybrid purple waxy corn stover(treatment). Samples were stored in mini-silos for periods of 0, 7, 14, 21,42, 63, 84, and 105 d. The results showed that PS had significantly higher(P<0.05) yields of dry matter(DM),organic matter(OM), gross energy(GE), crude protein(CP), neutral detergent fiber(NDF), acid detergent fiber(ADF), and total anthocyanins than that of the SS. Anthocyanin-rich purple corn stover silage(PSS) showed higher(P<0.05) levels of DM and CP relative to the sticky corn stover silage(SSS). Although anthocyanin-rich PSS displayed a lower(P<0.05)level of pelargonidin-3-glucoside(P3G), it had higher(P<0.05) levels of peonidin(Peo) and pelargonidin(Pel) compared to the control. Delphinidin(Del) and malvidin(Mal) were not detected in SSS during the ensilage period; in PSS, Del was no longer detected after 7 d of ensilage. Specifically, total anthocyanins in anthocyanin-rich PSS decreased rapidly(P<0.05)prior to 7 d of ensilage, and then remained at relatively stable(P>0.05) constants. Compared to the anthocyanin-rich PSS,SSS displayed significantly higher(P<0.05) pH value and ammonia nitrogen(NH_3-N) content. Propionic acid(PA) at 0 d and butyric acid(BA) during the entire study period were not detected, whereas anthocyanin-rich PSS showed a higher(P<0.05) level of lactic acid(LA) than that of the SSS. Compared with the SSS extract, anthocyanin-rich PSS extract showed a higher(P<0.05) level of 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) scavenging activity and displayed a lower(P<0.05) half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC_(50)) value. Moreover, anthocyanin-rich PSS reduced(P<0.05) gas production(GP), and displayed lower levels of immediately soluble fraction and ratio of acetic acid(AA) to PA at 12 h, but the other parameters were unaffected(P>0.05) relative to the control. | 2 | 泰国东北部产蘑菇Phellinus中总酚类化合物的DPPH自由基清除活性(英文)显示文摘AIM:To investigate the antioxidant activity and total phenolic content from the crude extracts and crude fractions of ten species of Phellinus mushrooms collected from northeast Thailand.METHODS:The samples were tested for their radical scavenging activity toward 2,2-diphenyl-1-pricylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical (DPPH method) and total phenolic content (Folin-Ciocalteu method).RESULTS:Some of the investigated extracts exhibited potent radical scavenging activity with the IC 50 ranging from (7.30±0.34) to (19.80±0.13) μg·mL-1.IC 50 were in the range of the standard antioxidant used;quercetin,ascorbic acid and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT).The strongest scavenging activity as comparable to quercetin was found in the crude 80% EtOH extract of P.torulosus.The crude EtOAc fraction of P.pini showed the highest total phenolic content with a value of 87.76±1.00 equivalent gallic acid (EGA) while the samples with potent antioxidant activity were also determined to have high amount of total phenolics (78.34±0.27 to 51.01±0.38) EGA.CONCLUSION:These results indicated that crude extracts from Phellinus mushrooms have a potential to be natural antioxidant source. | Prapairat Seephonkai Sorasak Samchai Apidech Thongsom Suriya Sunaart Boonkirt Kiemsanmuang Kamonchanok Chakuton | 2011 | 中国天然药物2011,9,6: | 3 |

| 6 | Hypothenar fat pad flap vs conventional open release in primary carpal tunnel syndrome:A randomized controlled trial显示文摘AIM To compared outcomes between the hypothenar fat pad flap(HTFPF) and conventional open carpal tunnel release(COR) in primary carpal tunnel syndrome(CTS). METHODS Forty-five patients(49 hands) were enrolled into the study from January 2014 to March 2016, 8 patients were excluded. Randomization was conducted in 37 patients(41 hands) by computer generated(Block of four randomization) into COR and HTFPF group. Nerve conduction study(NCS) included distal sensory latency(DSL), distal motor latency(DML), sensory amplitude (S-amp), motor amplitude(M-amp) and sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV) were examined at 6 and 12 wk after CTR. Levine score, grip and pinch strength, pain [visual analog scale(VAS)], 2-point discrimination(2-PD), Semmes-Weinstein monofilament test(SWM), Phalen test and Tinel's sign were evaluated in order to compare treatment outcomes.RESULTS The COR group, 19 patients(20 hands) mean age 50.4 years. The HTFPF group, 20 patients(21 hands) mean age 53.3 years. Finally 33 patients(36 hands) were analysed, 5 patients were loss follow-up, 17 hands in COR and 19 hands in HTFPF group. NCS revealed significant difference of DSL in HTFPF group at 6 wk(P < 0.05) compared with the COR group. S-amp was significant improved postoperatively in both groups(P < 0.05) but not significant difference between two groups. No significant difference of DML, M-amp and SCV postoperatively in both groups and between two groups. Levine score, pain(VAS), grip and pinch strength, 2-PD, SWM, Phalen test and Tinel's sign were improved postoperatively in both groups, but there was no significant difference between two groups.CONCLUSION There is no advantage outcome in primary CTS for having additional HTFPF procedure in CTR. COR is still the standard treatment.
